Currently open! It's probably best to go inside and order than the drive through at this time because it is popping! My first thoughts were this is a steak and shake that is White Castle themed. I tried to order things that they are known for so I went with the butter burger deluxe double. The pattys were small but charred good. They just forgot some of my toppings and lacked sauce. To be honest, nothing too extraordinary just felt like I was eating a plain burger. I also subbed my crinkle fries for their well known cheese curds. They remind me of mozzarella sticks but ball form. A good pairing would be some marinara sauce.. The custard takes it home though. I walked in and the cashier starts taking our order the blonde staff lady named alorra started to call me Charlie Kirk to her co worker blatantly making fun of me. The place seems to be a burger fast food restaurant that would try to compete with Chik-Fil-A. Our family of 4 spent around $70 for dinner. The cashier was not friendly or helpful. We ordered a kids meal and were not told it comes with an ice cream and so didn't get what was included, even though we ordered ice creams as part of our meal. Even at Burger King or McDonald's, if your meal comes with a side, they will remind you or ask if you didn't choose an option. We ordered 4 meals but only got 2 sauces included - any additional sauces would have been 40 cents each. The chicken noodle soup was very salty. The garden fresh salad came with chicken that was so dry on top it looked like a big crouton. The chicken tenders and spicy chicken sandwich were also fried so dry that they were tough to chew. The fries and onion rings were crispy and tasty. The lettuce and tomatoes were very fresh. The ice cream and milkshake were creamy and delicious. They need to work on their customer service skills and train their staff better. In addition to the unhelpful cashier, there were 2 employees by the soda fountain when a customer spilled their drink in front of them at the beginning of our visit - not one went to notify anyone about the spill or make an effort to clean it. The customer cleaned it themselves but the napkins didn't do a great job and the ground was still very wet. The only thing worth returning for would be the ice cream. read more

I've been a fan of Culvers for a LONG time so I was ecstatic to see one so close to my house! How I used to dream of butter burger, cheese curds and concretes! Well, dreams do come true!! We dropped in last weekend after the restaurant had opened a few days prior. The line was enormous but they did a good job in handling it quick and making sure it was orderly. I stepped up after a few minutes and placed my glorious order. Butter burger deluxe with bacon, 2 more butter burgers, chicken tenders, crinkle cut fries, cheese curds (2 orders), pretzel bites and sodas including that creamy delicious Culvers root beer! They give you a number and you go sit down and you wait for the goodness to arrive and when it does, it's like the music of the heavens is playing. My burger was perfect! Bread soft and warm, burger was thin and flavorful. Cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo... what else can you ask for? Fries were crispy and not. Curds were salty, crunchy and delicious. Pretzel bites were warm, soft and made even better with the cheese sauce!! Now on to the real show. The concretes! I didn't want mine to melt or waste it by taking bites during my meal so i waited until we were done and i went back up and ordered my perfect concrete. Vanilla mixed with butterfinger and Reese's cups. Yeah, I'm a peanut butter fan. This concrete BLEW ME AWAY! Every bite filled with those perfect flavors i was looking for. We also got a salted caramel brownie concrete, a Oreo/chocolate cake concrete and some custard scoops. Everything was gone before we left! So good! Located in University Drive in the Shoppes of Monterra, this Culver's has dine in and drive thru. We took advantage of the drive through on this visit. I will say this was a bit of a different drive thru experience. First off, they only take credit cards in the drive thru (I had brought cash). Ordering was fine. Then I pulled up to the window to pay and had to wait for what seemed like quite a while to pay. There was someone there filling drinks and what not, but I don't think they were the drive thru person so no one opened the window and greeted us for a bit. Once we paid, we were given a numbered sticker to place on our side view mirror but it wasn't exactly made clear. After 3 different spot attempts, I was correctly guided to the right part of the side view mirror. I waited for direction on where to go wait as this was my first time and eventually had to ask after kind of staring at the employee for a little. I was told to pull up and around the corner by the blue lid garbage can. We then waited for another amount of time that seemed a bit longer than expected (my companion had done the drive thru before and confirmed it was a quicker and smoother process last time). However the lady who finally came out with our order was very thorough and sweet. She read back our order and even described what everything had on it (better than the menu board did). She also told us to have a nice day and drive safe as it was beginning to drizzle. Now for the food. The fries were good, some were warm and some were room temp right out of the drive thru. The sandwiches are definitely elevated from traditional drive thru food and had good flavors. The spicy chicken sandwich needed some type of sauce or mayo as it was a bit dry otherwise (the sandwich as a whole, not the chicken patty). The pub burger is seasonal and I would consider getting again. Apparently all the burgers on the menu are butter burgers as it has to do with the bun being buttered and not the actual burger. What stood out to me coming here was the service. Granted I went through the drive-thru; but could still see how good the service was. This being my first time coming to any Culver's it was a good first impression. While we were ordering through the drive through we wanted a cup of water one of the workers was going to hand us a standard no lid cup. One of the other workers took that threw it away and gave us one of their small cups filled it up with water and said this is more presentable. Which I agreed with him. West Coast for life! We flew in to Florida for a cruise tomorrow and got in late. Only thing open was Culver's. Disgusting burger that tastes like it's from a gas station. I tried Culver's for the first time and can say I likely won't be back. I heard that people recommended it so was excited to give it a try but the whole experience put a sour taste in my mouth. When we got there it was packed, really hard to navigate where I should be going but thankfully I decided to get a table first and then order. I showed my kids the menu before arriving so they knew what they wanted. I was too hungry to try experimenting with things so I decided on the butter burger. I got the value meal and added cheddar cheese, bacon, lettuce tomato, mayo, ketchup. I ordered a single but despite me saying my order twice the young man taking my order still put in double. I can't eat that much so I ended up paying extra for nothing. I got a butter burger for my son with bacon and they forgot the bacon. I had to go back up and they gave me the 2 slices in the side. After double checking my receipt, I wouldn't have lied about that, but policy I guess. Also, the customer service made me feel uncomfortable. Not friendly at all and I felt like one of the young ladies at the registers was staring daggers at me. I was nothing but nice even when I went back up to ask about the bacon. I didn't mention anything about my burger being wrong and still felt weird energy. It didn't make me feel good. As for the food, it was just ok. Not much flavor on the burger. Their French fries are pretty average so I usually opt for the cheese curds instead which are really good and a nice change from the usual fries you find at most fast food restaurants. Stopped in for a quick bite with the family per my son's request. I had the Culver deluxe with bacon. The burger is a smash burger so I got a double. The bun was toasted and fresh as well as the toppings. The fries were crinkle and comparable to Oreda fries. The burger was an average burger but came out luke warm. The bacon used was the microwave style bacon which was very disappointing because it seemed like it wasn't cooked long enough. If you've had microwave bacon vs the real deal then you immediately taste the difference. There was alot of hype when this restaurant opened and I decided to wait till it died down to give it a try. We went to go on a third night for ice cream/shakes but the drive-thru line was so long we opted to go elsewhere - but the line being that long says people are willing to wait for good food. My boss swears on his first born that Culver's is the best fast food restaurant in the country. This past Friday we had a concert in Broward and found a location near by. We went through the drive thru and while the line looked long it went pretty fast. We ordered their butter cheeseburger, fries, Buffalo chicken tenders, and their famous cheese curds. The burger was solid the bun was very unique and I could see why they call them butter burgers. My favorite part was the fresh cut red onions it gave it a good flavor. The fries here are crinkle fries and had the right amount of crunch and saltiness. In regard to their famous cheese curds they were good and tangy but I won't lie I was expecting it to be a little better. For me the star of the show were their chicken tenders, very tender and flavorful, just a little spicy aftertaste. I came here last week to try their burger and to get a custard. This was my first time having their food. The burger was very fresh and a real tasty flavor. I loved the cheese. The company is from Wisconsin so they are experts in cheese. It could have been hotter. Next time I will try their Wisconsin cheese curds. The bigger was just the right size. I was not real hungry but was passing by and wanted to try their burger. I had the Turtle Dove custard. It was delicious. Each day they have a different flavor. I've been wanting to try this place since it opened in Margate before the pandemic. They just opened a new location not too far from where I live in Cooper City. Let's start with the parking lot. It's tight, a bit of a maze to get through, and there's not enough space for the cars in the drive-through. I found it very difficult to pull in and out of the handicap parking spaces. The restaurant. It's new, it's clean, at least for now. They have plenty of help working, but they are not taking care of the things that need to be done. The garbage cans were over stuffed and needing to be emptied. There was no one walking around cleaning the tables or the restaurant. They also needed to have someone to maintain the soda fountain machine area. One of the napkin dispensers was stuck just beyond reach. The ketchup dispenser was all but empty, and so was one of the straw dispensers. What did we have? My daughter had a spicy chicken sandwich. Other than she thought it was a little bit too spicy, she said she liked it. My wife likes her Cod sandwich too. As for what I thought about the double butter cheese burger. It was just ok. Just another greasy glorified fast food smash burger. Now George's chili. It was way better than Wendy's chili. I think it was better than some of the chili I've had in other restaurants. The only thing I wish is that it came with a no beans option and something on the side to kick the heat up. We also had fries and pretzel bits. The pretzel bits were really good, but the cheese sauce was a bit watery. The fries were good too, but personally, I would have liked them fried a bit longer. We finished up with a vanilla concrete with peanut butter cups and oreos. That was excellent! I only wish they would have waited about ten minutes to send it out. Very clean and friendly staff. Upon walking in you a greeted by the sea of staff in their blue Culver's uniform. There are plenty of options for the whole family from burgers, seafood, chicken tenders and even kids meals. It took a bit for the food to come out but the meal was well worth the wait. The cheese curds were delicious perfectly cheesy and the breading was perfect. The chicken tenders were very fresh and didn't taste processed. OMG! Was so excited for Culver's to open up near me but last night was bad. We ordered our food (no ice cream) at 7:05pm and at 7:23pm we still didn't have it. We went up twice and they said it would be soon. Finally our food came around 7:30 and it was literally ice cold. I took the tray back up and explained and the employees offered no apology and acted as I was a huge inconvenience. A guy with glasses who seemed like he was a manager went over and grabbed one burger to throw out. I asked another employee to make sure they were remaking the entire order because everything was cold (curds, fries, two burgers). There was a bunch of back and forth but finally the chef from the back confirmed they were cold and gladly remade. Got our food and they gave me two fries instead of 1 fry and 1 curd. I explained and the staff member wanted to take a fry away to give me the curd when another employee told him to just give the curd. it was good - typical Culver's. Yummy fries and butterburgers. we also ordered a 4 pack of pint ice cream to take home so after we ate I asked for a bag for them and it was a whole ordeal. luckily I had the receipt so i could show them we already paid for the ice cream. The way the staff handled this was ridiculous in my opinion. We tried Culver's drive through... Not realizing how long it would take. I get the concept so the time makes sense, it just didn't work for us in this situation. Straight to the point: burgers and fries were good. I'd say worth the wait if you have time but there are other places (shake shack) that are comparable. The operations though needed some work. Where we had to wait seemed odd and if there were an emergency it would be a risk. Also having staff walk all the way around the building for each car made the process even longer. I hope someone identifies a better process to getting meals to drive up customers. read more

This was my first this afternoon for lunch and will say on whole it was good, I ordered Pot Roast sandwich which excellent, the FF fries good, Mickey Ds are better and the shake good I guess but not my type of ice cream.
