Terrible experience. Witnessed the manager yelling at employees and customers because their system went down. They couldn't give my brother his food although he paid for it on the app and the receipt is there. Made him dispute it through the app. They are not professional at all. Why would I even think of checking Yelp before going to a tried and true fast food place? Wish I had, based on the previous reviews. They all matched my experience, but in different ways. Going through the drive-thru, I got to the order screen and waited at least 5 min. for anyone to take my order. The guy at the pick-up window never greeted me or talked to me, other than asking for payment. He never said anything when he handed me my food. At home I found that the tomato slice was not red, but almost white. Yep, really. Poor quality lettuce pieces. Where's the sauce??? It was a dry burger and I had to add my own at home. NEVER GO TO THIS WENDYS!!!!! The customer service at this location is atrocious. Firstly I pulled into the drive thru and was told to pull up to the window, and when i reached there i was told i wasn't being talked and forced to the back of the line behind 7 cars and was given no priority even though it was the workers fault and she could have just taken my order at the window. And when I finally made it around and payed the employee handed me my card she just dropped it on the floor and didn't seem apologetic at all. Ah, Wendy's my favorite place to go to on my lunch breaks... They have saved me so many times before. Today, I decided to be bold and daring, and by bold and daring, I mean try something other than their Ceasar Salad. Faster than a speeding bullet came the young lady over the radio to take my order. I tried the strawberry mango salad with extra grilled chicken, and as always, Wendy's never failed to disappoint. The food was very fresh. It is the perfect sandwich when road tripping or dealing with a busy day. The bacon & bread on the Baconator seem to be better quality than the other smaller burgers. Try the chicken sandwich for $1 if you are in the mood for something smaller. This particular establishment was just remodeled so it is clean & good for dining in if needed. So we stopped going here and going to the one farther away even though we live near. The service and quality went down hill. So we decided to come back and give it a go maybe it got better....nope. far worse. Only one of two cars in line at 1:25 am. Supposedly open until two but seemed to be out of a lot. This is the second time in a week that our order has been wrong!! Last week I wasn't feeling well so my husband went to this Wendy's to grab us something for supper. I told him I wanted a #1 with baked potato. I am allergic to fresh tomatoes so my hamburger is ALWAYS ORDERED NO TOMATO! Well, out of habit I always check to make sure there is no tomato on my sandwich! I can't just remove the tomato and continue on to eat my sandwich because the juice or a seed can cause my tongue to swell and require a trip to the ER! Last week there was a huge juicy slice of tomato on my hamburger! So into the garbage it went! I had a small baked potato for supper. Tonight my husband went back there again, decided to give them another try, and he ordered a #1 with baked potato. He gets home tonight and the hamburger is correct but no baked potato, French fries instead! These people think they should be paid $15.00 an hour and they can't even get a simple order correct! It's not rocket science to know the difference between a baked potato and French fries or what it means when someone says they want something NOT TO BE PUT ON THEIR SANDWICH!!! Y'all aren't going to be paid $15.00 an hour because y'all are going to put your restaurant out of business by constantly giving people bad service!! Even though this restaurant is close to us, we won't be going back! It has been going down hill for sometime and apparently the only type of people that they hire really don't care about the type of service they provide, all they want is to collect a paycheck!! Remember when small uses to be what we though of as large? This is a busy Wendy's with the same standard rules as most fast food resturants. It is almost always faster to go inside than to wait in the drive through. The bathrooms are clean, but here it is not uncommon to walk in on a man bathing at the sink. The food is fresh, at least the fries are always hot and the chicken always tastes good. Unless you are in the neighborhood, there is no reason to get off the off ramp to eat here. read more

Tonight I visited the local Wendy's right up the street from my school "Nova Southeastern University" and received the worst customer service experience ever in my 30 years of living. I pulled up to the intercom and asked for a chicken caesar salad for my son who was in the back seat at around 10:30pm at your restaurant located on 3055 S. University Drive Davie, Florida 33328. I was told, "ain't no caesar salad" by the night shift worker name Sheldon. I asked if the restaurant had any other salads and his next reply was the last thing I'd think a Wendy's employee would say. Sheldon's response was, "I just told you aint no fucking salad bruh." My response to him was, "excuse me, you might want to watch how you speak with paying customers" and his reply was, "what are you going to do? get out of here." I proceeded to pull up to the second window where your employee was located on the side of the current car there to ask for his name and he walked away from the window laughing. I asked the other young lady working there, where is he and she pointed where he had walked off. I then left to drop my son off home and come back to speak with the night shift manager. When I pulled up to the window the second time, maybe 15 minutes after the first interaction I rolled down my window and asked Sheldon face to face for his name and he then walked off from the window for the second time. Shortly after the nightshift manager came to the window and I asked, "excuse me, what's the guy with the dreadlocks who was just at the window name?" she replied apprehensively, "Sheldon," I asked for a last name and she asked me, "why?" I informed her, "your employee needs to learn proper customer service etiquette and should not speak to customers in the manner in which I was handled because it was beyond disrespectful." I then asked for her name and for her to verify that she in fact was the nightshift manager. After informing her name was Mona she attempted to ask me what happened, but I informed her that I would be contacting your corporate offices in regards to the interaction I received on this date and drove off. I've always visited this particular Wendy's because again, it is not far from the university I attend which makes it convenient, but due to this interaction I will inform my friends and the rest of the student body about this horrible customer service experience at one of your locations. To disrespect someone by using foul language and laugh it off as if it's funny is completely unacceptable, especially when my 6 year old child was in the back seat. If these are the type of individuals your company hires and allows to interact with customers then you no longer will have my business and I will make sure that everyone I come in contact with knows of this degrading experience with your company. I'm currently attending school to become a doctor of Occupational Therapy, putting in long hours and hard work to better the life of my community, my family, friends and myself, so for your employee to talk down to me as if I were worthless does not sit well with me. I would like to speak with someone in regards to this incident from your offices, employees like that are a major detractor for business and ultimately will be the downfall of your company. My child and I enjoy your food but this experience with Sheldon has left a very sour taste in my mouth that will never sit well with me. The fact that I am sitting at my laptop 12am typing about this incident goes to show how livid I am about the whole thing. I will also post comments on yelp and any other site in regards to this particular restaurant to warn others of the experience they have the possibility of encountering with the night shift at restaurant 3055 S. University Drive Davie, Florida 33328. I hope to speak with someone soon about this, thank you in advance, and please implement a better hiring process or training process in which will aid in employees being more customer friendly. read more
