    Classic chicken sandwich.

Pollo Campero hit the spot for dinner. I got the classic chicken sandwich with the yuca fries and campero sauce as well as the buffalo sauce. This is the second one I have gone to, the first one I went to is in Miami Gardens. There was a steady stream of cars in the drive thru but they still manage to move pretty efficiently. If you want a good quality and affordable meal then Pollo Campero is a good choice.

We stopped in Pollo Campero for a quick to go dinner on Sunday. The place was very clean with only a few other patrons. We ordered a spicy sandwich, 2 piece fried chicken meal with mac n cheese and a 4 piece mixed meal with yuca fries. We actually enjoyed everything. The fried and grilled chicken were both very tasty and the mac n cheese was rich and creamy. The spicy sandwich wasn't really spicy itself but the sauce on it added a nice zing. We asked for one of each sauce which they had no issues with. The creamy jalapeño and buffalo were our favorites. They also have horchata, mango and Jamaica drinks available. We tried the horchata and found it really good. I'm sure we'll try it again for a fast, easy chicken meal.

Competition has been added to the neighborhood. This new fast casual fried chicken and etc. has just opened for business. Service was very good as they had every executive from the company making sure the experience was superb. The flavors range from mild to spicy, and they have a variety of chicken meal sizes. The fried chicken was very good. Nice crunchy texture on the outside and juicy dark meat on the inside.

I'd been waiting for ages for Pollo Campero to open, and it finally did last week. I opted to go through drive-thru, but I could see that the inside was packed. At the drive-thru, the person on the other side of the microphone could barely hear me, it sounded very loud on their side with a lot of people talking, he had me repeat myself several times, and by the time I got my order through, I thought everything was correct. I got to the window and the type of chicken that I want and some add-ons were incorrect, but they were happy to adjust everything to correct it. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, with mac & cheese on the side, and a two piece meal with fried yuca, to enjoy the next day. The sandwich was not very spicy, and the chicken was a little bit dry, but it did have really good flavor. The mac & cheese was surprisingly, really good, and it reminds me of a better version of KFC's. The grilled chicken was amazing, and I was expecting it to taste like the competition (Pollo Tropical, La Granja, etc.), but it had a very unique set of spices on it that made it taste original and juicy. The fried yuca was made perfectly and I asked for a side of their campero sauce to dip with, but I really wasn't a fan. It tasted like BBQ sauce mixed with ranch.

$12 meal includes 2 pieces fried chicken, side, and bread or tortilla. Drink not included.

Pollo Campero fried chicken is legit! Tastes like the real thing in El Salvador I was disappointed that my $12 meal did not include a drink

I had been waiting for this place to open since I passed by daily on the way to and from work. I was really happy to see that it was open and ready to serve. Upon entering, we noticed that it was packed, which was a good sign! We decided to go for both the grilled and fried chicken, the Campero rice, the yucca, and the mac & cheese. Everything was delicious, and the chicken was perfectly seasoned. I also tried their hibiscus juice, and it was very refreshing. It was quite a bit of a wait to get our food, but it was understandable because it was extremely packed inside of the small space. We do look forward to returning to try more of their menu.

Went to try this new chicken place originally from Guatemala. Everything was very good . Chicken was moist, juicy, and tasty. We tried both the fried and grilled. The black beans are flavorful. The sweet plantains are also very good and well above average. Overall, this restaurant's food is good quality and tasty but a bit expensive compared to other chicken restaurants in the area. Service is attentive, but you must speak Spanish or else. It's hard to communicate.

Also reasonable price points for a combo sub to quick pick up for you or the kids. I also had the Mexican Street corn chicken sub ( not pictured) which was surprisingly good. The pictures do not show well, but one try and you will agree. Only con is the pick up location is public for anyone to grab. There is no monitoring which is what happened to me. Guy grabbed my bag (only bag there) and I had to stop him. Could have been an accident but not a coincidence it was by itself. Staff always greets so far (there 2 times)

You get a choice of dressings and I got garlic aioli. They have long sliced pickles (yum) so they stayed nicely on my sandwich. I opted for a bottle soda. My husband got a refillable fountain soda and a side of Mac&cheese. It was nice and hot and tasty. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was very clean. They have inside and outside seating. Despite that, we decided to order food and planned to sit outside to avoid the odor. We paid for our meal and then waited... and waited. The employee behind the counter was calling out order numbers, but ours was never called -- even though many customers who ordered after us received their food before we did. After standing there for quite a while, he finally asked if we needed help. I explained that we were still waiting for our order. He checked with the kitchen staff, and they responded dismissively in Spanish. We continued waiting while more orders were being called, but no one seemed to care about us or follow up. Eventually, I went back to the cashier and asked to cancel the order. He responded with irritation and said our order was canceled in a rude tone. We ended up leaving and going to another restaurant, where we received great service and excellent food. Overall, this was a frustrating and unpleasant experience. Poor service, lack of communication, and an unwelcoming atmosphere -- I would not recommend this place.

I'm not sure what's in it, but it's so good and pairs perfectly with everything. This location is a bit more tight, the parking lot and drive through area. It's a fast-food concept that keeps things very simple with a limited menu: chicken tenders, fries, and a sandwich. We tried the 4 Chicken Fingers combo with crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, coleslaw, and the recommended Arnold Palmer, sweet tea mixed with lemonade which was refreshing and enjoyable. My favorites were definitely the Texas toast and the coleslaw. The toast was lightly crisp with a buttery garlic finish that made it easy to enjoy. The coleslaw was fresh with a nice crunch and well-balanced creamy without being overly tangy or sweet. The chicken itself was tender but fairly mild. It was okay on its own and really relies on the sauce to bring the flavor together. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, with self-serve fountain drinks and tea, and lemonade available at the counter. Service was prompt, location clean and the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, it was okay. Sometimes simple works and sometimes it's just that: simple.
