My favorite sandwich chain. Too bad they keep closing the ones around me. What I like about them is that they always have a lot of meat on their sandwiches. Try the new hero sandwich, very good, very full as always. Taste kind of like engineer sub

Wheat bread but i asked for white

Hangup on me 4 times it's happened many different days not just today. And i got two things on my sub and they couldn't even put it on the right bread

Lousy chopped romaine salad that has no romaine in it.

Significantly better this time around. The salad looks like a salad, and tastes great. The sandwiches were mostly correct (error on bread, but no biggie). Everything else was correct and great. Much better customer service, and greatly appreciate motives food quality.

Verdict: pub steak, no. Brisket, good. Italian, great.

Several weeks later, when the crowds died down, I popped in for dinner. The small parking lot was nearly full; I snagged the last spot. Maybe this is more of a to-go place? The menu is very limited. Essentially, there are various combinations of (3, 4, and 6) chicken fingers with fries and sides. There is also a chicken sandwich. I ordered the Box Combo, which includes four chicken fingers, sauce, fries, coleslaw, Texas toast, and a beverage, but I was worried I would still be hungry. The staffer reassured me that it would be more than enough. And she was right. The sizable chicken fingers were juicy and tender with a tasty, crunchy coating. The crinkle-cut fries were a-okay, as was the coleslaw. However, I did not care for the sauce, expecting it to be a bit sweeter, like J. Alexander's, nor did I care for the toast. The team staffing the restaurant was top-notch. They stayed on top of cleaning up the restaurant and replacing the garbage cans while remaining friendly and pleasant to customers.

When I got to the window and handed over my debit card, I noticed I was charged an even $50 instead. Though it was only a couple of dollars more than expected, I didn't say anything at the time, thinking I could just tip the staff, which I did, adding an extra $5. Once I got home, however, I discovered that two of the burgers I ordered were missing. I called the store, and the young man who answered was the same person I had dealt with at the drive-thru. I explained the situation and asked if he could either note my name for a future visit to give me the burgers or refund me. He apologized that he forgot to put the burgers in the bag and put me on hold to consult with his manager. When he came back, he asked if I could return that same day. I said I couldn't, and he suggested he would write my name down but implied that if they forgot or lost the name, I would be out of luck for the $10 worth of burgers. I found that response unacceptable, told him such and requested to speak to a manager. The shift lead, Robert, assured me he would write my name down and take it to the manager's office, hoping they would honor the mistake when I return? Not sure if there is a lack of training or lack of caring but there should be some system in place for when these mistakes happen, it's natural for things to get missed occasionally. Curious about whether this issue was common, I checked other reviews online and have found that I'm not alone. It seems several customers have also reported being charged incorrectly and having similar problems. Overall, I understand mistakes happen, but the lack of follow-through and accountability was frustrating. I hope they can improve their service for future customers. I can't say I was a regular for Bray's but me and my family have gone many times over the past 25 years. Today has rubbed me the wrong way, and now I feel like a Karen for having to post a negative review. I will definitely be looking into the overcharge though now, since other reviews have also mentioned being overcharged. Oh... the food I did take home wasn't bad.

Bray's Hamburgers has a pretty humble ambiance, but that is fine. There is nothing fancy about a burger (though it is definitely a great culinary treat) and sometimes the best ambiance to enjoy a burger is in a humble setting. Overall, Bray's Hamburgers must be doing something right as they have been here so long, I can't imagine this area without Bray's Hamburgers.

Got the grilled chicken wrap spicy. It was spicy spicy but without flavor. The chicken was gross, almost like it was microwaved and inedible. Located off the busy Ford Rd inside a plaza conveniently next to Luca Bakery, this restaurant has tenders, wings, sandwiches and wraps. I got 2 individual tenders because I wasn't that hungry and wanted to know what their chicken was all about. Each tender was $4.29 before taxes, but wow were they huge. I also had them make mine "hot" which was the second hottest spice level they offered. Not only were these tenders absolutely huge, but I loved how juicy they were and the thick crunchy batter (which is probably why they look so big). Only reason is I won't give this place a perfect rating is because it doesn't really stand out compared to other hot chicken places, and it's overpriced. I wish more of them offered bone in chicken options
