We normally get good service and food here, but yesterday was an exception to the norm. We ordered takeout at the counter, my fiance got a medium sub and asked for a medium combo, I ordered a large sub and asked for a large combo. My fiance paid and the lady who rang us put in small combos. We just shrugged it off as an inattentive employee, got our chips and subs and left. My fiancé asked for wheat bread, but realized they used white. My sub hardly had any meat, and the bottom of the roll was totally soggy. Very unhappy with this visit, especially with prices being so high. We paid $37 for the meals. We will definitely reconsider coming here in the future. read more

The first time I came to this location all was great;; the 2nd time all went to hell I tell the people what I want and they got it all wrong. IT looks like there is NEW owners that don't how to run the place.. I was supposed to eat what they serve! a bun with very little meat on it.. and not what you ordered .. in my option the people behind the counter speaks very little English and don't understand what you want and don't know how to make the subs.. I bought the New Yorker, which is supposed to have pastrami and roast beef or corn beef. One of the two I think it's roast beef and it was probably one of the worst subs I've had. It was just full of nothing but gristle it had pastrami on it whatever else it had on it it wasn't what it was supposed to be. It was a terrible sandwich. I would never buy that sandwich ever again besides that I think they have pretty good subs to Italian the hook and ladder I will still go back and try some other sandwiches as well. read more

I've been to this location several times and I've had few different subs. My favorites are the Hook and Ladder and the Italian. But recently and for a limited time, they have a pulled pork sandwich. We stopped here for lunch the next day for some sandwiches. I ordered the New York fire sub with everything on it. My partner I think wanted some other flavor sub. So we walked inside and picked out the sandwiches we wanted. They were good. Its especially good when I can get all of the toppings I want on my sandwiches. Great place Great Menu Great Prices I am a fan of this business. I am a fan of their meatball sub and I wish I had one now. It is delicious. I love the chili. It was very delicious and filling, even with the fillingness feeling, I still ate that entire meatball sub. Lots of seating inside and a couple outside, bigger than a typical firehouse. Service was mediocre, it's hard enough to to hear with masks but they add the loud music and it's just an additional unnecessary obstacle. I do really like the coke machine they have because it has the option for the peach cream soda and that's my favorite. Overall, I like to get the meatball sub with extra pickles and onions on the side, they didn't have either sides for me, I had to go back in to ask, so overall, not the worst experience here but also not the best. read more

I'd do 3.5 stars if I could. The place is clean and the employees are really nice, even though we walked in 10 minutes to close. Tried that new pub steak sub, the bbq brisket sub, and the Italian. The pub steak was not to great (the guy at the counter even warned me it wouldn't be). There was beer cheese on it and mayo. Meat was a lil skimpy so it was a pretty gooey sammich. Nix the mayo and get extra meat it'd probably be pretty good. The bbq brisket was pretty tasty, but I'd get extra meat next time. The Italian was superb. Would definitely order that again. Pretty hard to mess up an Italian sub, but regardless, this place does it well. The meatball sub looks pretty awesome, gotta try that on my next visit. read more

The Firehouse decor and menu items are GREAT! My Dad was a firefighter so I am drawn to these items. The theme is well done. My granddaughter tried on some of the firefighter hats and coats for a picture. Memories were made at Firehouse Subs! The sub sandwiches were delicious as well. I loved the wheat bun. My son said his "New York Steamer" with corned beef and pastrami was outstanding as well. Not only is the food and decor excellent so is the fact that a portion of the money goes buy lifesaving equipment for first responders! How awesome is that? read more

Well this was disappointing. I've never had Firehouse before but wanted to give it a try. My Italian sub arrived ice cold despite being advertised as hot. I ordered a soup, which I did not get. I ordered a bag of Sun chips which I did not get, they sent Lays BBQ instead. I also ordered a kid's meal listed as a Turkey sub, kid's juice, Rice Krispie treat, and fireman hat. The kid's juice, Rice Krispie treat, and hat were all missing. So I got a cold sub, the wrong chips, and 4 missing items. Oof. I won't order again. read more

So, I've been bragging to my daughter since March about how great this place was and took her there for the first time since the pandemic started...when we walked in there were two workers who didn't even bother to greet us, so we said hello...and the reaction was "we'll be with you in a moment" with the nastiest attitudes. Absolutely love Firehouse Subs! I always have a great experience at this location. The subs are fresh and delicious every time. Although it sometimes takes a bit longer when they are busy, the quality of the subs is worth the small wait. Came into this location this past Sunday night right around 9:15. We were greeted by the female worker with "Just so you know it's take out only." Why in the world would your dining room be closed before closing time? That is a convenience for the staff, not the customers. If that's the case, it should be reflected on your website and/or on the door where your hours are listed. I drove my family across town to eat here and felt turned away. Your subs can get a big soggy if not eaten right away, so we took our business elsewhere. Such a disappointment. The employee with the flat brim hat with the T- Rex on it with long hair and a scraggly beard was quite rude and disrespectful to my daughter! I had asked her to order first, as I was still deciding what to order and he greeted her very curtly! He said to her something inaudible, and when she asked what he said, he just said "what you want." That's not even a full sentence! My write up will be short and sweet. They have pretty decent subs but my complaint is that they don't give you enough pickle with the whole subs. They give you a (1) slice of pickle for a half sub and the same 1 little slice with a whole sub. What could POSSIBLY make them think that this will suffice? For a pickle lover like myself, that's just UNACCEPTABLE. I ordered a whole sub and when I got home to start eating it I looked in the bag and there was only one little sliver of pickle in there! The food is good, but the service sucks. The last few times, they forgot my pickle spears and each time I asked about them, they looked annoyed. If you order online, be prepared to wait way longer than they quote you. It's never ready on time. No one ever smiles or really even acknowledges much. My boyfriend is a super fan of Firehouse and always tries to convince me to go on the weekends. He lives the variety of hot sauces that they have that he can pick from because he's kind of a hot sauce junky. When we went last weekend, when we got there the cashier looked less than enthused to take our order, like it was our issue we came into eat there. Then after we had ordered, we waited for our food and my boyfriend was looking through the hot sauces and he said most of them were empty or not there. He asked her if they had his favorite kind and she was like I don't know? It left a bad taste in my mouth because it seemed like she should have been able to go check for him but it seemed like a complete inconvenience for her. To top it all off, they have one of those cool coke machines in the back that you can combine flavors and the cherry coke was very flat.
