This Firehouse location may have the rudest, most childish employees I've ever seen. You can do better! Please have a legitimate manager spend some time there and fix these problems. Ok giving a star extra for the great crew there. They were nice and patient. They serve and represent the business well I got a large meatball sub. Toasted is the way to go. The sandwich was good. About same as Wawa. But the sub is much better than subway. Bit expensive. But prob one of the better subs on the area. If have not been here it is a fire department motif with pics of various crews on action. They ask to round up for firemen related charities. Extremely SLOW. Stopped on my lunch break which was at 1:30pm (not higher traffic lunch hours) and my order took 30 minutes. I repeat, 30 minutes. My entire break was spent waiting for them to make my small sub. Entire place full of other people also waiting for their food and complaining about the wait times. Staff more people. Have never waited this long for a sub in my life. I ordered my sub to go and when I got to my car realized they gave me ZERO napkins in my to go bag. How nice!!! The location is convenient but the owner or manager is extremely cheap with condiments and toppings. I just got food here today to go and asked for pepper sauce and honey mustard on the side of my sandwiches. She asked if she could put the pepper sauce on the sandwich, I said no I like it on the side and can I have a side of honey mustard. She said oh we are running low on sauce containers. I was like ok??? She only gave me a tiny side of honey mustard and no pepper sauce. I paid $34 for 2 sandwiches to go and she couldn't use the sauce containers on me because she was "running low". What are you saving them for? My sandwiches also had only a tiny bit of lettuce and other toppings. Very disappointed and feel ripped off for the price of a sub these days. While the food quality of fine. Staff is a little disorganized. Too much going on between taking calls, in store orders and online orders. One person on register trying to balance in store and phone calls and one person making sandwiches. 30 minutes between walking in the door and walking out the door for two sandwiches. What happened to this location? Within the last six months the customer service has went from being "pretty good" to "why do I have a costumer" attitude. I've gone in the store 4 times in the last six months- it not just an isolated incident. None of the employees seem to want work there and it shows on the customers are treated. Horrible service!!! Door dash delivered the order which was great but I ordered Loaded Bake Potato soup. It is spoiled!!! I called and asked for manager, she kept saying bring it in. I used Doordash and was working!! Not plausible and reasonable. She said my workers need to see because they don't work very well. First of all, your employees are your problem, your a manager. I even asked if I could send a picture to show her and she said yes but refused refund or replacement without soup returning. Poorly run establishment with no leadership. I have had pretty decent experiences with all Firehouse Subs I have been to...but tonight at this location we got subpar food. The chili had literally NO bean or meat or anything, it was all liquid. As if it was scooped from the very top of the bowl and had not been mixed. It had no flavor either. When I called to let the store know, the man on the phone acted as if he had no idea how to solve the problem. I had to ask if I could give him my name and get a replacement at another date. Two chili's are $10+. Additionally, the subs had such small amounts of meat I had to peel the bread away to taste it. We spent $27 on a terrible to go order. We also bought a container of the hot pepper sauce, which the cashier had no idea if it was good or not, bought it anyway and it WAS good! read more

I am dental rep and I have used this location several times for catering orders for my attendees. As a dental professional and a dental rep...I feel that customer service is extremely important!! I have ordered several orders at this location and have given them a lot of business! With that being said, I have earned several thousands of FireHouse Rewards. When having to use the "rewards" for personal orders, it always seems to be an issue with with the owner. She will only let you use ONE reward per day even if it is 2 separate transactions. I don't agree with this because it is rewards you have earned as a loyal customer especially when I have given them hundred dollars worth of catering orders! Decided to call a different location (Chesapeake, Eden Way) and they were extremely accommodating! (And I was able to use 20000 points on the same day without a problem!) In fact, I placed my last catering order with FireHouse Chesapeake, Eden Way and BOY....what a Huge Difference! It was perfect and the presentation was WAY better! Subs were nicely organized with generous amounts of meat/cheese individually wrapped, pickles in a separate container, plates, cups and tongs were nicely wrapped with plastic wrap, a separate box with neatly placed napkins, mustard and mayo! A plastic trash bag was even was given as a courtesy! And to TOP it all off they offered to carry the entire order to my car! Now THAT is Customer Service! FireHouse Strawbridge has lost ALL of my business! I will not be returning. read more

Last time for this place, I ordered a turkey sub and received a bread sandwich. There was a tiny amount of meat on it just like Laura posted in previous comments. The dark haired male worker takes orders using his gloves on the computer and doesn't change his gloves, gross. Philly Cold Cuts or even Zeros next time. Blows Subway out of the water! One of the best franchise sub places I've eaten at. Subs are fresh and fresh out of the oven. Staff is friendly and brings the food out to you when they're done making it. They also have one of those cool Coke machines that has 120 plus drink options. So far my favorite Sub there is the Turkey Bacon Ranch. It has a lot of flavor. Great food and the people here are wonderful. The Italian sub is fabulous. I do not think I will ever go to another sub place. The kids love picking out their chips and the options on the Coke machine. I also found out they support the community in many ways including schools, various charities and particularly the firehouse and EMS around them. read more

I will not be returning to this establishment. The 1st and last time i will ever come here. I have been to several Firehouse subs throught America and have received some sort of discount because i ask if its offered for military and have in the past recieved it. This is the first time this has EVER happened to me at a Firehouse subs...EVER! What topped it off, i had to ask the casher taking my order to repeat themselves, because sorry, i could not understand there foreign accent. That made the whole encounter even more off putting. Just got back from deployment and wanted to have a nice quick lunch, didnt happen here. Thank goodness i can choose to eat wherever i want and have the opportunity to do so. If anyone living in the General Booth area that is active duty military IN A MILITARY TOWN is looking to go here, turn around and go somewhere else that acknowledges what you do for our Nation, the choice to serve is not an easy one and not everyone can do it. I should have sensed there was a problem with this particular Firehouse subs when hardly no one was inside and a "help wanted" sign was posted outside...here it is.
