New York Steamer. Savory sub that's not too messy yet flavorful especially with the corned beef and pastrami combo. Any preferred hot sauce is a good compliment to the sub. Same with the pickle. Could they've made the sub bigger? Sure, still good as is.

We have never been to Firehouse subs. We were pleasantly greeted by Sammy. He was so nice and willing to assist. He gave good suggestions. Shared the most popular item on the menu. We had the Turkey Sandwich with Pepper Jack. The sandwich was delicious. The bread was fresh. The store was not busy since we went during the week. Because during an off time the store was peaceful and quiet. Plus we didn't wait too long for our sandwich. Because of Sammy we will be back. Thank you for your service.

Engineer sandwich has a nice taste with the meat, cheese, and toasted bread. Firehouse Steak & Cheese has a nice flavor with avocado and toasted bread. Avocado pair nicely with the cheese when eaten together. The service was quick and only took about 10-15 minutes to complete after ordering. There is a cashier and kiosk option to order upon arrival. They have outdoor seatings and limited indoor seatings.

I was excited to see they now have FIREHOUSE SUBS upstairs in the food court. This is my go to for a GREAT sub. My fave is always their CLUB ON A SUB. It's a ham, turkey and bacon sandwich with the works. * If you like hot sandwiches this one is a must try. See pic for reference. 10/10

By far the best sub place I've ever had. We've been going to another location which is a bit of a drive for us and it's nice that this one is in CityWalk. Just sucks if you want to get a quick bite from here but not have to deal with parking and all that. Absolutely delicious and the worker was very nice. I ended up getting my usual, Engineer and although I ate it about an hour or so later, it was still amazing. Love the texture of the toppings mixed with the softness of the bread. The restaurant was clean and empty. They had an easily accessible pick up window as well. Great music playing and super chill vibes. Lots of places to sit around here, inside and outside. This is basically a treat for us since it's not as easily accessible but definitely can't wait to come back! IG: @ammysalamii

Located on the second level in City Walk. The place is small no indoor dining. Their sandwiches are freshly made on warm toasted bread. I got the hook & ladder which is good Turkey, Ham and cheese. The guy working today was cool and bubbly. Overall good sandwiches here i would recommend this for a quick meal if you don't want to eat inside Universal.

We picked up dinner here on our way back into the park one evening. I'd never eaten Firehouse subs before, but had heard great things from Gluten free IG influencers. I was excited to try and was not disappointed! This was the best GF bun/roll that I've ever had! I like that they label the items, so there's no guessing which sandwich belongs to who. Can't wait to eat again at one locally. Wish there was one closer in my area.

I give 5 stars because I loved my Italian sub!! I ordered a medium and it was delicious!! The person behind the counter was very nice and accommodating because we told him it's our 1st time here!! They just opened up last Friday 10/1/21...they are still working on the hours. From the menu board I enjoy the selections!

They have seats inside the train car but also a few picnic tables outside for dining, as well. The staff here is superb. So friendly and efficient, the way they get through the always long line and just move so fast is a master class on service. Chili is one of their signature items here which you can get alone, on the burger, on the hot dog, even on the fries! And goodness do they give you a heaping portion. Now I don't love chili so I'm always on their other items. They do patty style burgers which I like and also great hot dogs. They serve them in the softest non-poppy seed bun ever and are enjoyable. I like their cheese fries, too, though I can never finish them. The chocolate chip cookies are $2.50 and so soft & gooey just the way I like them. The minions and monsters set up is what finally made me pop the cherry with Carney's. I brought my minions (friends) and minion (plushie) with me to enjoy the experience. The restaurant is in an old train car, with the restaurant being inside. You have to take some stairs up and wait in like to order. There is both indoor seating or outdoor seating on ground level. Service is pretty speedy! I ordered a simple cheeseburger and stole some fries off my friends. Of course can't forget the chillis!! I thought the cheeseburger wasn't half bad, it's a solid serving size. A burger is a burger to me. The meat was good, veggies felt fresh and like I mentioned I ate chillis in between to burn my mouth off. Standard service, not overly welcoming or anything. Fast & efficient workers. Restrooms are single use for men & women stalls on the train car level. Men's restroom is ironically larger. Parking on the street with meters or there's a parking lot where you can park & pay as well. Also nothing is or at least seems to be ADA friendly about this restaurant ..as a forewarning.

This Sunset location feels cleaner and actually maintained. The original spot feels like whichever side of the family runs it just stopped caring years ago. I've actually never eaten inside this location. It's always been a pickup spot for me. I have eaten inside the North Hollywood location dozens of times though because I have a friend who, for some reason, always gets the tri-tip. One thing Zankou does really well is packaging. Everything is sealed up properly, organized, and survives the trip home better than most takeout places. My biggest wish is that they'd make their own pita bread. Imagine getting this chicken with fresh baked bread coming out of the oven instead of packaged pita. That would elevate the whole experience to another level. Somehow none of the locations do that. So yeah, if you're choosing between locations, I'd point people toward this one or one of the newer stores instead of the original spot. The chicken is still the chicken. The garlic sauce is still the garlic sauce. Some things don't need changing.

It was soft, pillowy, and had the perfect amount of chew, bringing the whole sandwich together. My wife ordered the Chili Cheese Fries, but she wasn't a fan. Her exact words were, "Meh."
