    Large Fatburger (1/2 lb.)
    Stuart B.

This location is in a little mini mall with easy and free parking, just off Ventura Boulevard. It's very clean and my large Fatburger was very juicy, fresh and delicious. There's a lot of seating inside which makes it feel just a little cramped if you dine in, but there are large windows which make it feel more airy and I found a nice table right by the window. There was a line of about 5 people waiting, but my order was fast. Pleasant service and you order from a window inside. This location also has their Buffalo's Express chicken, but I haven't tried that yet.

Came here on Saturday night hoping that this location would be better than the Van Nuys location. I was wrong. They equally suck. Many many years ago, Fatburger was one of my favorite burger joints. I don't know what happened but the meat is simply not good. It was overly salty. There was some much mustard in the burger, I couldn't taste anything other than salt and mustard. However, the service was good and the ingredients were fresh. It's just the meat I didn't care for at all. I must say, though, there burgers are quite large and they use all the ingredients I typically like in my burgers. Their fries with seasoning salt are also not bad. If you're a fan of fatburger, don't forget to get the frequent buyer customer card.

Never heard of this place until the day we went and it was good! I enjoyed the thicker steak burger and the toppings together made for a very good classic American burger. Fries were good too! Prices were more than I expected but they're better burgers than most other fast food places so it tracks. Glad to have visited it was tasty I'd definitely come.back!

I am always in the mood for a good burger and Fatburger definitely fulfilled my burger craving! The outside had a couple of homeless people that were quite aggressive but the staff was amazing. This was my first time here so after reviewing the menu and asking questions, I decided to go with the regular burger and skinny fries. The burger was pretty big, I believe 1/3 lb of beef which I assume is average size for a burger. They did have one smaller size as well. The burger was fresh but it I felt like the patty could have more seasoning. I added jalapeños to my burger which added a nice kick to the relish that was already on the burger. I enjoyed my meal overall!

I have not had a fat burger in maybe 10 years! Forgot how good they are. Prices have definitely gone up but that's true for everything. Burger and skinny fries were on point!

Ok any place mentioned by Biggie & Ice Cube in their song has to be fire. I'm pescatarian so I ordered the veggie burger and fat fries. Got peppers on the side. Been getting this combo for years but it was my first time at the Studio City location. Definitely hit the spot and satisfied my veggie burger craving. recommend added a side of the peppers (which are free) I came at an excellent time right before the dinner rush. It started to get busy about 15 minutes before I left. Will definitely be returning to Fat Burger!

Nice lunch spot for a group of employees. If someone wants burgers and other people want wings. This is the spot to go. Fresh made to order.

The plan for dinner was to order online and pick up on the way home. I decided to take advantage of the 420 offer that was only available with online ordering. I'm their words, it was an OG Fat for $4.20. I also added extras as I was breaking my 24 hour fast. I ordered the Skinny combo with diet Pepsi and a side of onion rings for an up charge of $1 to change from fries. I added a second 420 with the wheat bun. I paid for the order at 4:16 pm, text and email confirmations were received. I drove to the Studio City location to get my dinner. Heads up, the parking lot is tiny. There is metered street parking and also two hidden spaces by the dumpster behind the building. I walked into an empty dining room. I checked in and was given my cup to dispense my drink from the Pepsi soda fountain. It took about 25-30 minutes for the order to be completed. I took my bag of food that includes ketchup packets and napkins. The aroma of hamburgers and onion rings filled the cabin of the car as I drove home. I was getting hungry as I drove down the 101 freeway. I got home and sampled the onion rings. These might be a little crunchier if you eat your food in the dining room. The first burger I ate was the OG wheat. The bun was somewhat drier that I thought. There was a lot of mustard, pickle, and onion flavor in each bite. I had to try the other OG on white. This bun was much better and softer. Sorry, no review on the Skinny burger as it's being saved for tomorrow's dinner. Oops, according to the receipt there is no Skinny, it's another OG Fat. Aww. I'll need to give Fatburger another try but dine in to see if the rings are hotter & crisper.

I had to pop by for the cuteness and good eats Carney's is right along the Sunset Strip and has it's own small, free parking lot ~ a total win. They have seats inside the train car but also a few picnic tables outside for dining, as well. The staff here is superb. So friendly and efficient, the way they get through the always long line and just move so fast is a master class on service. Chili is one of their signature items here which you can get alone, on the burger, on the hot dog, even on the fries! And goodness do they give you a heaping portion. Now I don't love chili so I'm always on their other items. They do patty style burgers which I like and also great hot dogs. They serve them in the softest non-poppy seed bun ever and are enjoyable. I like their cheese fries, too, though I can never finish them. The chocolate chip cookies are $2.50 and so soft & gooey just the way I like them. The minions and monsters set up is what finally made me pop the cherry with Carney's. I brought my minions (friends) and minion (plushie) with me to enjoy the experience. The restaurant is in an old train car, with the restaurant being inside. You have to take some stairs up and wait in like to order. There is both indoor seating or outdoor seating on ground level. Service is pretty speedy! I ordered a simple cheeseburger and stole some fries off my friends. Of course can't forget the chillis!! I thought the cheeseburger wasn't half bad, it's a solid serving size. A burger is a burger to me. The meat was good, veggies felt fresh and like I mentioned I ate chillis in between to burn my mouth off. Standard service, not overly welcoming or anything. Fast & efficient workers. Restrooms are single use for men & women stalls on the train car level. Men's restroom is ironically larger. Parking on the street with meters or there's a parking lot where you can park & pay as well. Also nothing is or at least seems to be ADA friendly about this restaurant ..as a forewarning.

This Sunset location feels cleaner and actually maintained. The original spot feels like whichever side of the family runs it just stopped caring years ago. I've actually never eaten inside this location. It's always been a pickup spot for me. I have eaten inside the North Hollywood location dozens of times though because I have a friend who, for some reason, always gets the tri-tip. One thing Zankou does really well is packaging. Everything is sealed up properly, organized, and survives the trip home better than most takeout places. My biggest wish is that they'd make their own pita bread. Imagine getting this chicken with fresh baked bread coming out of the oven instead of packaged pita. That would elevate the whole experience to another level. Somehow none of the locations do that. So yeah, if you're choosing between locations, I'd point people toward this one or one of the newer stores instead of the original spot. The chicken is still the chicken. The garlic sauce is still the garlic sauce. Some things don't need changing.
