The best sandwich spot in town. Their ingredients taste so fresh & flavorful. Lots of options to add to your sandwich & the staff is super quick & efficient at preparing. Stella was awesome! She was so kind & really added joy to the experience. An expert at customer service for sure! Thank you Togo's!

Great location at studio city, Pastrami sandwich is always on point, fresh and delicious.

Poor experience this time ! Store opened up 20 minutes late and the sandwich maker did not listen when I told her to make the 2 subs I ordered the same way. She failed to put lettuce tomato and pickles on my meatball sub like she did on my turkey . I'm mad that I tipped when I got home and realized the missing toppings.

I had to remove a big pile of pepper topping.

I ordered the steak sandwich with Red Bell peppers thinking it would be fresh bell peppers grilled along with the steak. It wasn't fresh but simply a bell pepper topping. So much bell pepper topping, medium amount of steak. I've had many cheese steaks in my life, but this was hands down the worst. Very disappointed

I haven't been to Togos in 15 years or so, but I'll definitely be coming back more often now. First of all the staff that helped me here was nice. The price is great and the sandwich was delicious, way better than subway. The wheat bread is fresh and the portion is great. I'll definitely be back

Regular 6" Hot Pastrami with light mayonnaise, mustard, pickles, and pepperoncini on white bread.

This TOGO'S location is unique because it is also a Baskin-Robbins ice cream shop. The staff is friendly and the sandwiches are on point. Forget The Hat or Johnnie's Pastrami, if you're craving a classic thinly cut LA-style pastrami, TOGO'S is the place to go! Trust me! The others are just flavorless in comparison; more reminiscent of corned beef than pastrami. I ordered a #9, regular size (6"), hot pastrami with light mayonnaise, mustard, pickles, and pepperoncini for a hint of acidity. The regular comes with 5 oz. of pastrami. The pastrami is highly-seasoned, delicately sliced, savory, and delicious! You can add more ounces of pastrami for an additional cost. Unfortunately, there are no TOGO'S left in the Conejo Valley. I had to drive 30 miles from Thousand Oaks for a pastrami sandwich. Thankfully, it was worth the drive!

Good pastrami, good bread. Not the best bang for the dollar place but you'll be happy with the sandwiches.

I have been to…read moreplenty of In-N-Out spots and for some reason this one just tastes better every single time, even though technically it is the same menu. The burgers here are always so fresh, hot, and satisfying. One thing people should know is that there are off-menu customizations, and that is the best way to order if you already know what you like. I never do the regular double because it is just not enough for me. I usually order two 3x3 burgers. One I get with no onion, and the second I do even simpler with no onion, no lettuce, and no tomato, so it is basically just the bun, cheese, and three patties. I always ask for extra spread too because that is a must. Usually I get two spreads per burger and one extra for the fries, so my full meal comes with five spreads and I use every single one. What also makes this location stand out is how well they handle the crowds. It is always busy, but they have so many employees working that the line keeps moving fast and the whole place stays organized. Even when it looks packed, service is efficient and seating usually works out fine if you just pay attention and grab a table as people leave. For such a high-volume location, they do a really good job keeping things moving. Love In-N-Out, always will, and this Hollywood location is the one I keep coming back to. Easy 5 stars.

Ya gotta love Carney's. Ya just gotta. A train car loitering on a curve of the Sunset Strip,…read moredishing up Chili Cheeseburgers and Fries like heart disease is still undiscovered. The harshness of the fluorescent lights against the white walls, the aromatic steam rising up from the grill packed with burgers and chicken and onions, the cashier who sends soda cup lids gliding through the air from one hand to his other like a Frisbee hanging on the breeze. It's the epitome of L.A. fast food heaven, with a broader, more varied menu than the other similar places around town, and I've always liked it more than Tommy's. At first glance, the thin burger patties and chili seem interchangeable with that other venerable burger stop, but I think the quality is better at Carney's. Yes, the meat tastes better. The chili also appears very similar, but is actually not as greasy (aka easier on the tummy). Fries are definitely better: thin shoestrings cooked to order and served hot out of the fryer naked, letting you add as much or as little salt as you like. Though I also like chili fries, I order my chili on the side, so it's a neater, one dip at a time affair, which also keeps the fries crispier for longer. Tonight, as always, I ordered a Cheeseburger with just Chili. My wife, however, orders hers exactly as advertised, with chili, mustard, tomato and pickles. Both were hot off the grill, tasty and satisfying. Our order of fries was, indeed, quite crispy and piping hot, our side of chili at the ready for dipping. I also like to grab a few banana peppers, bite off the ends, and sprinkle the juice onto the burger for a little extra heat. Try it next time! And so, it was a good, old-fashioned L.A. dinner for a Thursday night, filled with flavor and classic comfort. Whether on the Strip or on Ventura Blvd., you can't go wrong when you stop for a meal at the train.

Oops! How did I omit a review for one of my go-to LA fast food faves??…read moreI'm a creature of habit and like swallows returning to Capistrano, my order is consistent and I recommend it no matter which satellite Zankou you're eating from. The Chicken Tarna plate is my hands-down vote, look no further (altho the beef shawarma is wonderful). The chicken is layered, breast over breast, on the rotating skewer causing all the rendering juices to cascade upon each other. Then a serrated knife comes along to slice strips off the leading edges; crispy bits mingling with juicy bits. Heaven. Your order will come with a couple of pitas, soft and fresh, a ladle each of hummus and tahini, pickled sliced beet, and a tomato and romaine salad sliced into ribbons. Be sure you get two taco cups of their famous garlic sauce- this is why you came. No really. My method of construction is to halve the pitas into a basic taco shell structure. Smear the interior with the garlic sauce, then scoop the sliced chicken, then each side into your Mediterranean taco structure. Top with salad and devour. The Greeks spoke of ambrosia being the food of the Gods. I'm convinced they meant Zankous Chicken Tarna plate. If you're flush with dough, get a beef shawarma to go, for later.

This cool dim lit, artsy food hub isn't just any burger joint and deli, with some of my favorite guilty pleasure plant-based options. The Impossible Double Smash here was almost exactly the way I get it at my go to locations in Encino and Glendale. The service is super solid. They have a few beers on tap, slushie/blended cocktails and a solid selection for standard well drinks. You can enjoy an assortment of non-alcoholic beverages via their Coca-Cola freestyle machine or those iconic Fat Shake's, including possibly one of the best dairy-free versions you'll ever have. Thoughtful fries, tots and sides and an extensive digital menu that's available right next to the register. During the day it's a little more restaurant bar in feels, and typically busy with a great patio space and doors that open up to give it an open air tricked out garage meets lounge vibe. Have passed by a few times, typically one my way to work, but had time to actually dine in and really enjoyed my food and the ambiance. Tons of flat screens with various ongoings, music on the intercom. Place is fairly clean with all black decor and walls graced with great art.
