I placed a rather large online pickup order before our 4 hr drive back home and the available pickup time was 1hr 20 minutes. I went straight to the restaurant and asked if they could start working on my order. They were friendly and understanding and said they'd start working on my order in between the busy walk in demand they were taking care of. They were able to get my 8 sandwiches done in 30 minutes and never made me feel like I was a bother. Sandwiches were as expected but the service stood out. Was both at firehouse and Arby's today I was in a mood for a French dip got a medium measured at 8 inches. I had thought I ordered the large but was my mistake. I had a fight to get some extra as you but was given it went home shared with my wife and I was still hungry and I had to pick up an order from Safeway anyway so I went to Arby's Arby's had a special on French dips came with fries, drink, mozzarella sticks, and an awesome peach cobbler for the cool price of $9.99. Bread is always fresh. Sandwiches are really good! Great selection of flavors. Sammy at the drive-through was very helpful and friendly.

First off, I will say that firehouse subs has always been my go to place for lunch when I am in Show low until recently. My wife and I went in several weeks ago and I ordered a salad. It wasn't until I picked it up that they informed me that they were out of forks so they were giving out spoons. You ever try eating a salad with a spoon. There is a Walmart right next door. You would think a manager would just run over to Walmart and pick up a box of cheap plastic forks. Problem solved. We tried it again this past Tuesday with basically same results. First off, out of white bread, only wheat. No problem then out of mayonnaise. We asked for ranch on sandwiches in place of mayonnaise. Get our sandwiches, no ranch. Go to get sweat tea and guess what - no sweat tea. I noticed two guys standing around, I am assuming supervisors doing nothing. To high up the ladder to put on gloves and pitch in. Overall, we were not impressed. Maybe time for new supervisors. read more

Went there a few days ago. Ordered a sandwhich meal for my wife and I and ordered a kids meal meatball sandwhich. When the order arrived only 2 sandwhich's did. The kids meal was not provided. The younger gentlemen that took our order who was distracted the whole time taking our order more concerned with another employee leaving for the day. When I picked up the order and noticed the missing sandwich the gentlemen said I did not let him know what sandwich we wanted with the meal when I clearly asked for the meatball and asked to add pepperoni. Why would you give someone the drink and chips for a meal and not mention that I didn't order the sandwich. Of course he started to argue with me and luckily the lead or manager stepped in and made it all right. Attitude sucked, food was ok and as always way over priced. Won't be going back anytime soon. First off, let me just say I'm baffled by some of the comments for this location. People, you are coming to a chain sub company, not a high end dining establishment. Now that I have that out of the way, I will say that we thoroughly enjoyed our visit this evening. We were greeted upon entry and our order was up within minutes. The food was super tasty and it's priced about normal for a sandwich chain. The decor was cute, obviously fire themed. I really enjoyed looking through the book they had set out of the donations they had made to police/fire departments throughout the US. Often companies say they are charitable but it is very refreshing to see the donations and the smiles they brought to people's faces. All in all, they earned each star in this rating. read more

I love the company and it's story how it started. I love how the the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation, which as of early 2018, has raised $33 million to help benefit first responders in 43 states and Puerto Rico, from giving grants to donating lifeboats and other expensive, modern equipment that smaller firehouses might not otherwise be able to afford. It's a great thing to go here and support the company. What I wasn't as fond of is the sandwich I had. I had a small pastrami without mayo. The pastrami was lean-maybe too lean for me because it didn't taste as much like pastrami. The bread was crispy on top and soft inside which was nice. It could be that I have to find the right sandwich for me. I'm not sure I would go back but I'm glad I tried it. read more

Sometimes it's your mistakes that define you. I came in today to grab a sandwich while out running errands. Apparently they had been hit by a large to go order and had a lot of people going through their drive through as well as dining room guests. As a result they ran way behind and there were people that were not happy. They were rude. They were loud. They had every right to be upset especially when they finally got their order and there were things wrong. And wow did they let it be known. Through all of this, the staff was calm and apologetic and corrected their issues without pointing fingers or blaming or passing the buck. The manager or owner even gave the couple something for their time and trouble. Kudos to you all for exhibiting grace in a very tough situation! read more

Went to firehouse for lunch. They literally couldn't have messed up my sandwich any worse. I asked for no onions and all cold. I went back to work to eat my lunch and when I did I got a sandwich that had no condiments, no cheese, lettuce or tomato and it was hot. Definitely not a $14 dollar sandwich. read more

I order from here at least once a week for my team. I have never had an issue with the food that we have received until today. I spent $83.90 for subs and dessert for my team and didn't receive the dessert nor the coke. I quickly ran outside and told the delivery driver that my entire order wasn't in the bag. She told me that she couldn't do anything and I needed to call the store. I paid a $5.00 delivery fee and gave an additional $18.50 to the driver as a tip. I called the store. Waited 3 minutes on hold (I get it's lunch time) for a young girl maybe (Lindsey) that stated she was the manager. I told her what happened and she was willing to remake the desserts and get the bottle of coke ready (for ME to come get when it was their mistake). I asked how I was going to be compensated and she said I could get a refund on those 2 items or get them a different day. I told her that I needed them for my team as we are having a meeting to finally telling her that I would bring back the bag and get a refund on the entire order for her to tell me that only the manager could approve that. She told me she was the mgr. when she answered the phone. I asked to speak to the actual manager and an "acting" mgr. named Tyson got on the phone and was raising his voice right away. I had him on speaker in my store so my employees and unfortunately my customers could hear him talking to me. He actually told me I was holding him up from his lunch rush and "he" couldn't help me. Not only will I NEVER go back there, I hope every one of my employees and all of the customers who heard him will NEVER go there again. I have been a manager for over 30 years and a district mgr for 5 of those years. It's quite obvious that this store is managed horribly. Just because good help is hard to find in Showlow doesn't mean you put someone in charge that clearly shouldn't be. Got me a Medium Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket with my rewards points today and so far it's my favorite sub from Firehouse! I love the Subway spicy Italian BMT so I have to try the one Firehouse does but haven't yet, Firehouse is newer to the mountain where I live so I'm still experimenting with them and trying new subs and so far, so good! I'm still gonna go to Subway as well because the Spicy Italian BMT just does the trick for me, but there's room in my heart for more than one sub shop- lol. I love meat and cheese and a little bit of spice with it, Firehouse, so can't wait to see what you've got. I won't give 5 stars until you knock my socks off but I will give you 4/5 so far. Also, the drive thru cashier at this location was very courteous and gave me extra steak & hot sauce with my sub that I didn't even think to ask for. Ignore the fact that she used to work for me at Circle K long ago before my disability set in- lol. Danielle Beach at the Show Low location deserves a raise, Firehouse! This Firehouse is not nearly as good as the ones in the Valley. The sub was not as good and the bread tasted old. Disappointed in the amount of Chili given, it was around a half cup for almost $4.00. I hope they can improve or learn how to make the Italian sub correctly. read more

Had to leave a bad review .. three of us came in hungry and placed our order for 3 subs. We waited about half an hour and when the food finally was ready we found out they only made 2 of the three sandwiches. Checked our receipt they got three drinks but only 2 sandwiches... Dumb thing is they were not really that busy. Someone greeted people as they walked in the door but firehouse subs really dropped the ball with getting our order right. After the long wait we didn't even bother to complain. Why just wait another 30 minutes for a mediocre meatball sandwich we shared the 2 subs between three people. Disappointed in this sub store. Compared to Subway....a real disappointment. Ordered the Italian sub. The meat was almost nonexistent. If sandwich was toasted, I could not tell. The upshot here is that I didn't get food poisoning. Poorest quality of meats. I mean yeah, deli meats are processed meats, but this is cereal laden bologna. Tasteless, with a cheap texture of soggy fiberless compressed mash. There's nothing genuine about the firebell going off when you walk in and the employees don't actually look up to acknowledge you with a poor disharmonious effort shouting, "welcome to firehouse". Firemen are heroes. Thank a first responder when you meet them. There's something inauthentic about playing them up for a submarine sandwich sale. Subway is the bomb, at least 2 bucks cheaper, and you can see the meats and choose your topping while they make it in front of you. Delicious. I just had the worst experience at Firehouse Subs. We attempted to order 5 foot long subs, all exactly the same sandwich thru the drive thru and were met with the most hostel service. An order that would have cost $60. The person working rudely asked that we pull around and go into the store and order at the counter as she didn't want to deal with my elderly father. She stated that she didn't understand him. I repeated the simple order and the person said we couldn't order 5 foot long subs and insisted we come into the store and order. She was rude and ageist and I immediately felt terrible for my father for being so rudely discriminated against. I'll never set foot in a firehouse in my life. I went to eat and it was nearly empty, ordered and it took about 15 minutes to get my order and when I did, it was wrong and I had to wait an extra two or three minutes for my soup. It is also pretty pricey for what you get, almost $7 for a small sub, add an extra $5 for soup and a small drink. read more

I had eaten at one of their stores before and was severely disappointed. Their subs are steamed and soggy. My wife ordered a sub and they brought her a very different sub that was supposed to have bacon on it. The anemic floppy strand of bacon on my sub was not good at all. This happens every time with firehouse subs. It's unfortunate that hero's like firefighters are having their names sullied like this. Oh and the sub was 9.00!
