We honestly thought it was just a coffee shop, but it turned out to be the perfect place for a light meal and a relaxing break. The shop has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere with unique décor featuring photos of the local community and its history, which gave it a lot of character. There are several seating options, including high-top tables for two, lower tables with four chairs, and bar seating. The menu offers much more than coffee--they also serve sandwiches, ice cream, and other drinks. We ordered the Southwest Chicken Quesadilla, which came with a side of salsa, and it was absolutely delicious. To drink, we had the Raspberry Cream Soda and the Detox Water with strawberries, lemons, blueberries, and cucumbers. Both were refreshing, and the detox water was especially good. The background music was just right--not too loud, making it easy to enjoy a conversation. The shop was spotless, and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. The ladies behind the counter were welcoming, and the gentleman who prepared our food did an outstanding job. This was the perfect way to wrap up our visit to the area. We left with full bellies, great conversation, and a wonderful last stop before hitting the road. This is a cute little old school 50s-ish diner with a legit food menu and some truly excellent hot dogs. In fact, I would go out of my way for these hot dogs. They are huge and delicious and you can get them smothered with cheese or bacon or whatever. They also have breakfast items, crepes, salads, sandwiches, ice cream, and some pretty fancy coffee drinks. Now about those hot dogs: We tried the Take It Easy dog (ketchup, mustard, diced onions) and the Kansas dog (bacon, cheese, and BBQ sauce). The Take It Easy may have standard toppings but the dog and bun are excellent. The Kansas dog was supreme. The dog, bun, and the toppings were fantastic. I don't know why the little town of Winslow has such good hot dogs but it just shows you never know what you may find. read more

While we were in the area, we decided to grab coffee at this spot right on the bustling corner tied to the "Standin' on the Corner" park, the one immortalized by the Eagles' "Take It Easy." (Think: Glenn Frey statue, flatbed Ford, giant murals, and Eagles/Route 66 vibes everywhere.) The barista was genuinely welcoming and super accommodating. We asked for sugar-free caramel macchiatos, and they nailed the customization without any hassle. Both drinks were really solid: smooth, well-balanced espresso, and they hit the spot after hours on the road. The location itself is what makes it stand out, it's smack in the middle of a very touristy, lively intersection packed with Glenn Frey and Eagles memorabilia, gift shops selling Route 66 souvenirs, statues, murals, and photo ops galore. If you're already there snapping pics with the "flatbed Ford" or the bronze Glenn Frey tribute, it's super convenient for a caffeine fix. That said, it can feel a bit hectic and very geared toward tourists with lots of people milling around. If you're looking for a quiet, locals only cafe vibe, this might not be your scene. But for a quick, tasty drink while soaking in the classic Winslow nostalgia? It was exactly what we needed. Would definitely stop again if we're cruising Route 66 through northern Arizona. Cute little shop, but unfortunately very overpriced and sandwiches are gross. My son and I got two sandwiches, no drinks and the total was over $30. They didn't even give us a side of chips or e. Worst of all the sandwiches were drenched-completely soaked- in mayonnaise. I hate mayo, son hates it. The menu said they came with basil aioli, which should be made with olive oil and basil. The desserts were good and the only lady behind the counter was keeping up it's the orders with the crowd that she had. Windsor, Arizona Two places I wanted to go to in Winslow, AZ was Sipp Shoppe and the corner of Winslow Arizona. Lucky me they were directly across the street from each other. This café is small with 6 to 8 tables. They do have a counter with a few chairs. One girl take your order and a guy makes all of the drinks. There were two people in the back cooking. The staff was friendly. I ordered the daily special grilled cheese on ciabatta bread served with a pickle and tomato soup. It also came with a large drink. My husband ordered the turkey cranberry sandwich. It came with chips and a pickle. The drink was extra. The grilled cheese was delicious. However, it comes with a pesto sauce. It did not say anywhere that had pesto on it so please be aware for those of you that may have an allergy. The tomato soup was piping hot! It was deliciously homemade. The turkey cranberry sandwich was served on a roll. And had lots of sliced turkey. Came with cranberries and lettuce. It was a good sandwich, but nothing special or extra extraordinary. It was served with chips and a pickle. They have ice cream that the hand scoop and make milkshakes that look delicious. One of the other customers was eating a crêpe and it looked fantastic. However, there weren't any crêpes on the menu that had any protein. So I chose against it. If it was morning instead of lunchtime, I might have chose differently. This place is centrally located and charming. I would most definitely stop back here if I was in town. Plenty of street parking as well as an open lot around the corner. There is no charge for parking. Bathrooms were clean, but all three stalls were empty of toilet paper. Best ice cream I have had in a long time. So rich and creamy. I had a large cup. It was stuffed to the brim....so was I after eating all of the deliciousness. Worth the trip to Winslow and the calories. You may not want to be standing around much after indulging. Walk around the little town to burn some calories. I had three hangry kids on the road about 1800 miles into a 2400 mile road trip and we stopped in to get milkshakes and for the status at "standin' on the corner." Stopped in here for a quick bite to eat and get a root beer float. Literally right across the street from the "standing on the corner" park and statute. Mainly ice cream, floats, burgers and hot dogs. Me and the wife got a root beer float. The oldest daughter and me got the Kansas City dog (bbq bacon and cheese hotdog). The wife got the Texas dog which is essentially a chili dog. The kids got a kid grilled cheese and hot dog meal. They actually gave and charged us two hot dog kids meal (the wife thought the price was extremely high). For me the food was just ok. My daughter and I didn't particularly like the bbq sauce on our Kansas City dogs. The wife said her dog was good. My daughter didn't like the grilled cheese at all and we didn't end up touching the second hot dog we got charged for. Meals came with chips and we were half way done eating befire we realized that. The chips were on a rack in lobby so we just grabbed some. So I assume it like a subway deal where you got go pay attention to what you order and then your on a trust system? You know you want a milkshake. Lets get something out of the way. We all know why you're here in town. Everyone here wants to stand on a corner in Winslow, Arizona. I know. I know. It's such a sight to see. Besides the whole photo opportunity and couple of souvenir shops there isn't much to do here. Or so I thought. On my most recent visit to the area my kids decided they were hungry. Who gets hungry in Winslow? A couple of randos that's who. Anyway, they needed food and I noticed a steady stream of people going in and out of the Sipp Shoppe. Hmm. Why not? Outside the building is rather unassuming. Inside it is exactly what I imagined an old ice cream/soda shop would be. In fact, I think it was cooler inside than the whole standing on a corner thing. Because of its convenient location, it was jam packed with people. Ordering took a little while due to the crowds, but the staff were very friendly despite being slammed. Getting our stuff also took a while, but when it did come out, holy hell man. These were some damn fine milk shakes. I got a chocolate malt and it was very good. The kids forgot all about wanting real food too. Apparently ice cream is a good substitute for lunch. In closing, you should really come here. I know you will be in the area anyway so stop in and get a shake. read more

My dad got the sip shoppe club and the sauce on the sandwich (as well as the sandwich) was amazing and my dad mentioned the pickle was really good too. If you ever find yourself in Winslow AZ Standin' on the Corner...march your butt to Sipp Shoppe. It's on the corner. Go in there and whatever you do...get a crepe. I got mine with blackberries. It's the best crepe Ive ever had. They have a lot of syrup flavors for your coffee. I have banana added to my caramel macchiato and that was a good choice however I got a large size and it's more like a bucket of coffee! You'll definitely get what you pay for!!! Cute little shop across from the Standing on the Corner monument. We first saw it early in the morning when we were taking pictures. The place was packed for breakfast (which we had already had) but we knew we wanted to stop back for a shake or a malt. We returned that afternoon for our sweet treat. Stopped and had a turkey avocado sandwich here with the parents while on the road. It was very conveniently located right off the interstate and the building was beautiful. I didn't take a photo but the ceiling detailing was especially stunning. Also the food was amazing! Just recovering my sense of taste post Covid and that sandwich tasted like life. So good. 10/10 recommend. Also tasty pickle. It's also right next to a lot of cute photo opps related to historical Route 66 and of course it's a good place to take it easy. read more

I am giving this cafe a 1-star. Do not stop here. -- I visited back in September while on a socially distanced road trip. I had just taken my photo while Standin' on the Corner and had purchased a few souvenirs. I wanted to pick up a sandwich to go as I was going to be on the road for the remainder of the day. The majority of staff did not wear masks. This is COVID season. I felt like the restaurant had not been cleaned in quite some time, and there was no enforcement of social distance rules.
