Strawberry Milkshake

Strawberry milkshake was perfect and service was quick and friendly. There are some spots so sit inside or grab your drink and go!

Turkey cranberry sandwich and a half-size chef salad.

Great stop for lunch. The staff was friendly and helpful. My husband had a half Chef Salad and I had the turkey cranberry sandwich, which came with chips. The salad was very fresh. It is also right across from the famous Winslow corner.

This is where you place your order.

Windsor, Arizona Two places I wanted to go to in Winslow, AZ was Sipp Shoppe and the corner of Winslow Arizona. Lucky me they were directly across the street from each other. This café is small with 6 to 8 tables. They do have a counter with a few chairs. One girl take your order and a guy makes all of the drinks. There were two people in the back cooking. The staff was friendly. I ordered the daily special grilled cheese on ciabatta bread served with a pickle and tomato soup. It also came with a large drink. My husband ordered the turkey cranberry sandwich. It came with chips and a pickle. The drink was extra. The grilled cheese was delicious. However, it comes with a pesto sauce. It did not say anywhere that had pesto on it so please be aware for those of you that may have an allergy. The tomato soup was piping hot! It was deliciously homemade. The turkey cranberry sandwich was served on a roll. And had lots of sliced turkey. Came with cranberries and lettuce. It was a good sandwich, but nothing special or extra extraordinary. It was served with chips and a pickle. They have ice cream that the hand scoop and make milkshakes that look delicious. One of the other customers was eating a crêpe and it looked fantastic. However, there weren't any crêpes on the menu that had any protein. So I chose against it. If it was morning instead of lunchtime, I might have chose differently. This place is centrally located and charming. I would most definitely stop back here if I was in town. Plenty of street parking as well as an open lot around the corner. There is no charge for parking. Bathrooms were clean, but all three stalls were empty of toilet paper. The only thing I saw that needed cleaning were the lights on the wall above the tables.

There was a small wait but plenty of seating. We initially went in for root beer float. A little disappointed they did not have vanilla but overall good. I ordered the cream cheese chile dog and my husband the tuna melt. Both were 5 out of 5.it was full of flavor and just the right size. The employees were friendly and professional. This is truly a hidden gem.

An old-time soda shop with a modern-day twist. You'd think you walked into a soda shop in Mayberry with Andy and Barney sitting there. They serve several ice cream treats, lates, shakes, malts, and, of course, ice cream. I got a scoop of salted caramel expresso ice cream. Fresh, homemade, and good. It's just what I needed on a warm AZ day.

The menu looked great. We walked in and the waitresses and chefs were not wearing masks! Why bother put a sign saying to wear a mask.

Had a lot of good food and drink options. Don't think they brew their own beer but offer a lot of Arizona craft brews. Small town vibes, the staff were nice as well as the people sitting at the bar. Friendly vibes here!

Four Stars - Fantastic Service, Great Craft Beer, and Incredible Comfort Food Right on the Corner…read more We drove up to Winslow with a group of friends for an event, and after spending some time at the famous "Standing on the Corner" landmark, three of us headed straight across to RelicRoad Brewing for dinner. It turned out to be an awesome decision. The service was top-tier from the moment we walked in. Our server was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and kept everything moving seamlessly without ever leaving us waiting. She checked in on us consistently and was incredibly accommodating. Initially, the only seating available was at the high-top tables. The stools were those generic, no-backed metal chairs with barely any cushion--not the most comfortable for an older crowd. However, the moment a standard low table with regular chairs opened up right beside us, she moved us over without hesitation. The food was well above standard pub fare: * Oktoberfest Specials: They had an Oktoberfest seasonal menu running. One friend ordered the pork schnitzel and the other had the cinnamon apple pork chop (a creative, flavorful spin on pork chops and applesauce). Both thoroughly enjoyed their entrées. The side of spiral/skewered potato rounds was cooked well, though they could have used a bit more seasoning and spice. * In-House Pit Turkey Sandwich: Phenomenal. It features their house-made pit turkey--shredded rather than sliced--piled on sourdough with roasted green chiles and melted pepper jack cheese. The shredded turkey was tender, juicy, and packed with smoky flavor. * Homemade Mac & Cheese: The absolute highlight. It is 100% scratch-made comfort food using shell pasta, velvety melted cheese, and black pepper. It tasted just like the homemade mac and cheese my late mother used to make, which brought back great memories. If a spot tries to pass off boxed Kraft, I'll walk away, but this was rich, creamy, and authentic. You can even add bacon or green chiles to it. Pair the great food with a solid tap list of craft beer and cocktails, and it makes for a fantastic stop. If you're visiting the corner in Winslow, this is definitely the place to grab a bite and a pint. Highly recommended!

It's sad when a place you once enjoyed starts going downhill because of what feels like lazy service and a lack of care for the food being served to customers. This is now the SECOND TIME they've burned my carne asada! How does this keep happening? I took TWO BITES and couldn't even finish it. I was so disappointed that I ended up throwing the entire meal away! Wasting money on food that isn't even edible is absolutely unacceptable. As customers, we work hard for our money, and the least we should expect is fresh, properly cooked food and staff who actually care about the quality of their service. I shouldn't have to keep paying for burnt food, especially when this has happened more than once. I really hope management at El Gordo Mexican Grill sees this and steps in to address the problem. A restaurant's reputation is built on the quality of its food and the experience it gives its customers. It's frustrating to see a place I used to enjoy fall short like this. I wanted to continue supporting this business, but after this experience, I'm seriously reconsidering coming back. Do better, El Gordo Mexican Grill! Customers deserve better than burnt food and disappointing service.
