First time in a few years ordering via Doordash. Nothing wrong with doordash, just won't do it again. Website says buns should be toasted. They were warm but not toasted. I ordered 3 and none were toasted. The bottom bun was completely soggy and fell apart as soon as it arrived. Delivery time considering it was less that 5 minutes away was reasonable so unsure how long it sat. However I also ordered double meat on one and, wow, if that was double I image a regular meat would be miniscule at best. There was however a ton of mayo, it oozed out the sides all the way around. One sandwich was stuck to the bottom of the box and had to be consumed with a fork. The bottom bun again was inedible as it was just a mass of watery dough. Considering the total bill for 3 sandwiches was over 54 dollars. More than a little annoyed. read more

Service is pretty unenthusiastic, and I get it, who is excited to be working in quick-service food? That said, many locations are friendlier, and Firehouse seems to be another victim of the competitive marketplace for hiring good staff. The one standout nice thing about this location is the tables out back, which are great to hang out at on nice days. It's a shared pavilion but so long as you come at a non-peak dinner time it is still relatively quiet. I may still return if decent app coupons come my way, but Firehouse these days is always at least three or four spots down my list of sandwich spots to frequent. They have fallen on hard times for sure. Overall: 2.5 stars ---- Pros: - Sandwiches are admittedly still good, hard to beat a good sandwich with nice sauces. - Seating in the back area is very nice on pretty days. - Good amount of easy parking. - App coupons make the value proposition a bit better...
