I never, ever leave reviews- this is my first one, but I felt the need to leave a review purely because of how terrible my experience was. The sandwich was okay, the price honestly didn't make it worth it. But what really made the experience so unpleasant was the customer service. The staff was hard at work except for one worker, I think I heard his name was Colby or Corby. His attitude was grotesquely sour as I was ordering; he was extremely impatient, wouldn't let me finish my sentences, and was short the whole time I was speaking to him. I have a disability that was severely acting up that day and it was making it extremely hard for me to order, so his behavior was extremely disheartening. I do not recommend ever eating there, I did not feel comfortable whatsoever because of how he treated me. I feel bad for the staff that has to work with him. read more

Went for lunch on 11-20. Not real busy, but beat the rush. The squeeze and I shared a 12" Cajun Chicken sub. Nice and spicy, hot all the way through. Good flavors, the Cajun mayo and jalapeños top it off well. Pretty gooey samminch, ask for a fork to pick up the droppings. About $16 for that and a medium soda. read more

I am very disappointed in my order. I had ordered two sandwiches. one was perfect. The order for me was not. I ordered a large but I got a medium. I ordered a pickel on the side and didn't get that either. I spelled my name and the girl didn't even get that right. When I brought it up that my order was wrong the two employees just stood there and looked at me like I had two heads. I was in a hurry so I grabbed the bag and said I will just take it and they said are you sure. They didn't even say they were going to do anything until I said I would just take it like that. I don't think that girl should be on the register if she can't listen. If nothing else she should read back the order to make sure she gets it right. Not sure when I will come back but I know I will have to double check every order from here out. I guess good customer service has gone out the window. read more

My husband and I ordered the bbq Cuban and used the 50% off after 6:00. That sandwich was the BOMB!!! So much meat and flavor! Staff was friendly even though they were very busy with to go orders. read more

First time. Stopped in for the Thanksgiving turkey sub . The turkey was lunch meat, loads of stuffing, the cranberry sauce was barely noticeable and ended up throwing it away. After a few bites there was a long black curly hair in it!!! read more

Had our first ever Firehouse Subs last night. I got a medium Italian and my husband got a large steak & cheese (their version of a Philly Cheesesteak). We got a side of 5-cheese mac & cheese to share. Both sandwiches were from the hot menu and probably would have been better eaten right away. But were still somewhat warm after a 10 minute drive home. Plenty of meat is each one, but nothing outstanding about either sandwich. Both of us couldn't tell if the bread was stale or just toasted too long. The mac & cheese had the look and feel of Kraft, except it wasn't glowing orange. I don't know what 5 cheeses they use, but this cup got it's only flavor from the seasoned bread crumbs on the side. The inside was clean and very new looking. Staff was nice. These are warm sandwiches so not super fast, but not an unreasonable time to wait. I'd try it again, but eat there to see if it makes a difference. read more

People waiting for food at every table when I walked in. All tables were dirty and not wiped down. 5 people working behind the counter at the time often stopping to talk with each other. The staff here is terrible. I waited for 20 minutes to get 1 medium sandwich and only saw a couple others get theirs before me. Employees have no direction or leadership. Sandwich was ok. read more

We've been going here for about 2 years and initially they had great sandwiches. However, the last half year their quality has continually declined. We both ordered the Jamaican Jerk Turkey sandwiches but only got one, and some other unknown sandwich. It wouldn't have mattered any way though because they were both a sloppy mess drenched in sauce with soggy bread. Upon inspecting one sandwich had turkey of a grey discolored hue. I hope we don't get food poisoning. read more

Place was very messy countertops were gross staff seemed very unhappy For the most part the two people working making the sandwiches were fairly friendly but the guy taking the order was not and unorganized. Maybe needs more staff it looks like the manager/owner was there but he was not friendly and had a scowl on his face the whole time. read more

"Fast food alley" now has a zzz great alternative I had to visit the hospital, and was n pleasantly surprised to find my favorite shop next door! One of my family members turned me onto to this place. Said they've eaten there three days in a row and got a different sub each time. Given that information I thought I'd give it a try, and I was not disappointed. I got the Beef Brisket and Cheddar. The bread was soft and chewable, the brisket cooked just right, tender and juicy. With just the right amount of cheese and BBQ sauce. This is definitely a place I will be adding to my rotation. read more

We love the great menu choices at both the Meridian and Nampa locations. Firehouse Subs is Our go to Sub Shop and the one in Meridian is near Trader Joe's. Decent choice of Chips, a Cool Drink machine offers many choices to choose from as well. It's never busy when we've been there, service is Quick, sandwiches are tasty, and prices are pretty reasonable for the quality of the food, and if you Round Up to the nearest Dollar, the change gets donated to local Firemen & Firewomen. Way better than Subway. Food is always fresh and we've never been disappointed. read more

The wife and I decided to go there on Saturday after our grandsons baseball game as it was almost 7 and didn't feel like going home and making something. We have been to Firehouse many times and have always gotten a great sandwich. This time I ordered the NY Steamer and wife had the BBQ Cuban Sub. At first she wasn't going to order that as it said BBQ and we thought BBQ (as in BBQ sauce on ribs or brisket0 isn't on a Cuban. She ordered it anyway and was pleasantly surprised as it wasn't like having BBQ sauce on it and more like a mustard based sauce. Said it was very good. My Steamer was very good. Both sandwiches were on wheat bread as ordered and both were hot. While they weren't overly busy the only tables available were up in the front part in front of the windows. We sat there but had the sun shining in the windows and making it both very bright as well as a little warmer. The west wall of the place has mid wall to ceiling windows which in the late afternoon and evening get the full sun. They really need to put some type of shading on those west windows whether it's a mesh screen or semi- transparent blinds. Overall our food was good and the service was fairly fast but not overly fast considering there was only one order in front of us but did see people come in on two occasions to get takeout before us. So was probably three orders ahead of us instead of just one. We will be back as we prefer Firehouse over Subway. read more

Finally, a place where I can pay more....for less. A place where the sandwiches cost 25% more than everywhere else because they donate 1% to charity. A place where you can get little to no toppings and meat for that 'low cal taste'. There was hardly any meat on my sandwich. I took all the meat and put it on one half and it was still light on meat. I won't eat at a place that doesn't give you what you pay for. The flavor wasn't pleasing either. I was really looking forward to trying it but was extremely disappointed. I went to one other Firehouse Sub place in Oregon and was also disappointed but I wanted to give them another try. Not going back. read more
