I've been scouting the Treasure Valley for tacos and have found some good ones. This location is super convenient for me, but I won't be going back. Tacos are priced at $3.50 each, the most I've paid so far. My disappointment is with the carnitas tacos. Pork is so easy to cook and get juicy delicious meat, but these were the driest carnitas I have ever had. Seriously. Bad batch? I hope so for their sake, but I can find better consistent tacos for less elsewhere. Sorry Toros.

They have a great selection of tequilas. We chose the house margarita and it was excellent. Flautas were really good as was the shrimp and Mykonos tacos that I had. We also tried the trio dips apptz. Very good. Only exception I took was getting any level of spice. Even asked for the hottest sauce or salsa they had. Tasted great but didn't have any heat. We will definitely go back.

I also appreciate that they had outdoor seating as well. Our service was very good, probably the best thing that came out of my experience! Our waiter was so helpful and didn't overwhelm any of us at all! Super friendly and kind service. We started out with the triple dip appetizer and I personally really enjoyed the salsa. I thought it tasted really fresh and I couldn't stop eating it. The guacamole was also really fresh but I wanted a little more lime flavor to come through. However, everyone at my table agreed that we didn't love the queso. Unfortunately we just thought the flavor was non existent. We also got some drinks and thought they were really nice, I personally got the white wine and enjoyed it very much. Now I unfortunately forgot to take pictures of our food, but I do remember that I decided on both the Aloha, and the No Vacancy tacos. Sadly, I thought both were a complete miss. My Aloha taco had so much pork that I didn't really get any other flavor. And the vacancy had fresh ingredients inside it but it just felt very flat. I really wished that the tacos came with some kind of salsa or sauce as well. However, my friend let me try her lil Shrimp taco and I thought it tasted absolutely fantastic. Overall, I thought my experience with the service was great, but I don't really see myself coming back for the food. Maybe for some drinks though ;)

The food tasted very good, though I typically expect chunkier salsa, it had good flavor. My husband got the Birria tacos, their sauce is great, but the chicken was lacking seasoning, it needed salt for sure. I had the Camaron de la creama and again, the sauce was thin but tasted good and the dish had plenty of shrimp. They have tons of seafood so if you are wanting Mexican seafood this would be a good place. But there were only a few non seafood dishes, so be mindful. As with all seafood, prices are a little higher than you typically pay, so this will probably go into our date night restaurant bucket as opposed to a regular weekly night out.

I only checked "onions" and even added a comment NO cilantro just to make sure it doesn't get missed. I picked up my order and all 11 tacos had cilantro on them. I went back inside to let them know. They took all of the tacos back and told me they would remake the ones that weren't supposed to have cilantro on them. She brought them out and told me it was all fixed. I didn't bother checking a second time to make sure my order was correct. I got home and they shorted me 2 of the no cilantro tacos. Giving 2 stars because the carnitas were good. Even if he didn't want to go, due to my immense craving for the chips and queso, I would have ate alone...but he reluctantly agreed. We went on a late Sunday morning and the place was relatively empty. They had the garage roll-up doors open, which gave this location a cool vibe. We quickly ordered the chips and queso, one grilled fish taco (grilled or fried fish, red cabbage, cilantro, chipotle crema) and one texican (ground beef, lettuce, tomatoes and cheddar cheese). One thing I just love about this place is that you never have to wait for your chips and queso. We were served up a generous scoop of tortilla chips and that hot, crave-a-licous queso. Our tacos were done within a few minutes. The fish was tender and flaky, wrapped in a corn tortilla. The cilantro, cabbage and crema wrapped that fish with this amazingly fresh and herbaceous blanket of love. Every bite was scrumptious. My husband named the "Texican" to "a taco made for me" and then asked when we're coming back. Best day ever. Sitting out in the open air area was super nice, on a perfect 78 degree day. She came right out and the grill was already hot and she had the masa/dough already made, and I watched her roll a little ball of it and press it flat and cook it in front of me. That was one nice tortilla! I don't think I've ever had one that fresh, fresh off the grill! I had a basic chicken taco with cilantro and onion & lime juice and a bit of the milder green salsa. ¡Es un taco muy delicioso!
