Nice, clean, very large amount of seating and personable staff. My son and I dashed in to grab subs to go. We rarely get a chance to eat at Firehouse Subs because we don't have one in our town. They were fast and got our orders 100% correct. He had the NY Steamer (not pictured), a family favorite. I had the Engineer, my personal favorite. Both were just as good as we remembered, maybe even better. Highly recommend if you live in this area or just passing through. read more

It is so busy during lunch time and with all the online orders. Service was sooo slow. Not their fault but it is the longest I have to wait in a deli. Feels like 20min. Sandwich is getting smaller and more expensive now. $10 for a medium, that sucks. Used to be $11 for large and stack with meat. I don't know if I eat at firehouse again. Used to be my favorite chain sandwich shop. read more

Normally very good! This time they had a lunch rush and got through it the best they could. I waited for 45 mins for my take out order. When I got home, instead of steak and cheese sub, I was sent home with turkey! I get it that you are busy, but that should not mean I'm sent home with the wrong food. I've eat firehouse subs all over the eastern part of the United States. The one thing I can say about them is that they are consistent in their food prep. We had a pepperoni meatball and a hook and ladder and they were both superb. I would t expect any less out of a firehouse though because they're always great. The staff was friendly, the store clean and the food was great. Much better than that "healthy" sub shop that sells overpriced processed meat sandwiches and tuna that's not really tuna. read more

The parking lot of this place should have given it away--it was empty. When I walked in, the server was ok but it all went downhill from there. Of the five sandwiches I ordered one was right--and it was the kid sandwich. A turkey bacon ranch ended up being a turkey and cheddar. My club sandwich was supposed to have pepper jack and it had no cheese or bacon. As to the speed of their service, it took eight minutes to make five sandwiches with no one else in their restaurant. Maybe I am accustomed to busy locations which take less than five minutes for a large order of sandwiches, but I suspect this place just sucked all the way around. read more

We've been in places where you can see the look on the employees faces that it's "oh no, I can't believe they walked in!" Not here, everyone had a great attitude. So the food is really good and the restaurant is clean. I have two issues which caused me to bump this down a notch. #1. it's a brand new restaurant and there is no wifi, at all, none, zero! #2. When you walk in you would think you are going to a fire instead of FIREhouse Subs. The steam/smoke from the bread steamers makes the place look like its on fire when you walk in. Maybe it's for effect, but it's annoying. Overall good food and friendly staff though. read more

I have been to firehouse subs 3 times in the last couple of weeks. The new pepperoni pizza sub on garlic bread is my all time favorite sub of firehouse. The only complaint I have is there's not enough pepperoni on the sub. I was told you couldn't double the pepperoni so I paid extra to double the cheese and by having this sub before I knew there was nothing extra except the very high price. I love this sub but do not like deception. Workers need to be precise when making the subs. read more

Placed a pickup.order and was very specific about what I wanted, I even had the girl repeat it back to me. Picked it up.and went home and the Hook and Ladder was all wrong and sloppily put together. Pick it up out of the container and it was a large and was not cut in half and the meat, lettuce and tomatoes slid off the bread into the floor. That was a waste of 10 bucks. read more

Driving back home after a weekend in Asheville, we decided to stop at firehouse for a bite to eat. Although it was not as conveniently located as I would have hoped, it was well worth the drive. I don't normally give 5 star to a fast food restaurant. Got to give it 5 stars because of the friendlyness of the people/manager. The sub was very good. I asked for ice...they offer me a cup full.
