Took my boyfriend here for the first time since I've been raving about how good the subs are for a while. I asked for a sub, half with Mayo and olives and half without. The sandwich came out after 20 minutes with half of a side with Mayo, other half with olives. The brunette working kicked us out of the lobby when we sat down at seven even though they didn't close until 7:30. Overall, bad customer service. Would go to any other firehouse before this one. read more

I normally love coming to this place. But next time that I order pepperoncini peppers can you leave out the stems out of my sandwich please. I was chewing my sandwich when I felt something hard and sharp in my mouth. read more

Firehouse Subs - Fast Food Near Me - Lacey, Washington

Short review: So here is the short ratings: Style: 3/5 (points missing for not seeing food being made) Clean looking : 5/5 Order system: 5/5 Staff kindness: 2/5 ( not one smile or real greeting) Wait time : average:3/5 Price: 2/5 Ability to listen to orders: 2.5/5 Meat in sandwich: 1/5 Bread: 2.5/5 Freshness: 3/5 (veggies seemed good pickles bad) Local support : 5/5 Total: 2.5/5 Long review read on. Everyone raves about fire house subs. So when my wife and I got gift card we were kind of excited . We decided to go tonight. The place looks great and clean on first impression. Plenty of staff and there was four other people in front of us. Large selection of hot sauce number by level of heat. A wall separating the public from the staff. Personally this is a down side as I can't see my food being made. They show lots of support to our local fire departments and lots of bragging about how much is donated. They even had a card you could sign for first responders ( it looked like to those who were working on Christmas, but it was past Christmas) Let me start out by saying ima picky eater however my wife is not. We both however love our subs. This is the last sub shop we haven't tried in Lacey Olympia area. No one really greeted us as we tired to figure out what we wanted. They were all busy so it seemed. My confusion comes later. Prices weren't the best but her we had $25.00 gift card and we already got drinks at a gas station. (on average for a combo two medium subs your over that price) I decided on the steak sandwich no sauce with LIGHT onions and no peppers ( remember I'm picky). My wife choose the turkey bacon ranch no tomato's and onions. We had the boy ring us up. And sat and waited. We waiting for about 5 minutes until they called out name. We ordered to go and came home. We opened our food. I opened my sandwich and to my shock there was more onions then meat and light peppers. Basically I paid 8.00 for onions some cheese and like two tablespoons of meat per half sandwich. Lucky for me they were big enough to pick off however as that being 70% of my sandwich I was left with one full bite of steak and bread. As the cheese went with the onions. Now, I'm used to people screwing up my order as I'm picky. This is really what slammed it home for me, was the pickle they give us tasted like it was sitting all day. ( wife's was the same) My wife sandwich. It was made correctly she opened her sandwich to find that her turkey was barley on there and the bacon was basically all fat. Her sandwich was mostly lettuce ( roughly 70%). After two bites her meat was gone per side she tossed the rest. Both of us ate what we could and 30 minutes later we are still hungry. Final thoughts: they need more meat in their sandwich. No ones wants more veggie then meat. Certainly no one wants more onions then meat. Hot sauce is cool but that is about the only thing they bring more then over sub shops but most sub shops don't hide behind a big wall. This cuts your staff from greeting your customers and brings more things open in general. I support that ability to support the local fire departments. I'd rather just give them money my self then risk the integrity of my meal. read more

First trip to Firehouse Subs and could be the last. Tried their #10, smokehouse brisket and it was very tasty, but unappealing to see. I posted a picture of the real sandwich. I gave them 3 stars for flavor, otherwise it would have been less. The bread is supposed to be toasted, but it was hard to tell. I'll definitely give them another chance. read more

Firehouse Subs - This is their #10 on the menu, not like their pictures at all. - Fast Food Near Me - Lacey, Washington

Subs were good. Nice and toasty. Went out of my way to make it here. After trying I prefer jimmy johns (price is comparable and much closer) or subway (again much closer and cheaper) Service was very friendly and the restaurant was very clean and well lit. read more

I love firehouse subs. This location is going down hill real fast. Terrible customer service by all the employees that I have seen in store. It makes me wonder if the owner really cares or knows how the employee are running the store. Most of the times my bread is soggy. I was told be the store manager to tell them to press my meat extra to get the juice out of the meat. sometime they do press it more and sometimes they don't. There are a lot of time the pickle spear is missing. Sometimes the employee are not wearing their mask correctly. I have tried 4 times once in April , once in late May and 2 times in June to order a deluxe catering platter. and each time I get told by different employees that they know nothing about the platters and how far in advance they need to be ordered. They think 2 days. I would have to talk to someone else. Two times I have left my name and number for the person that know how to do them to call me. I called Friday to try and get a platter for Sunday. I was told the employee that does the platters wouldn't be in till Saturday but they would have her call me between 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. it's now also 5:30 p.m. no call. I just wanted one platter for Sunday so we could decide if we were going to order platters for the wedding coming up. I guess Firehouse subs in Lacey Wash. on Galaxy Drive. doesn't want the order. So said how employees can ruin a business. read more

Not as good as I remembered. I got the New York Steamer, but it was lacking in meat portions. Come to think of it, they might of screwed up my order because I don't remember eating brisket. My husband got their Smokehouse beef & cheddar brisket and it looked way better than mine. Love that it comes with a slice of pickle. Their Firehouse hot sauce is super tasty. Parking can be tricky sometimes since it shares a parking lot with many other restaurants and establishments. Good service. Clean. Might go back and give it another go. read more

Surrounded by Subway, Jersey Mike's, Meconi's - my friend and I decided to order take-out for the beef and cheddar & meatball, Newbie workers fumbled so not surprised. The meatball medium sub went into a styrofoam container and my beef and cheddar was tightly squished in paper. 1/2 hour to home and the meatball sub was in perfect condition. My beef and cheddar was squished flat with greasy residue. Have to admit both were tasty. Next time I'll bring my own reusable containers. Now I need to mention Firehouse would do us all a favor by putting their to-go subs in environmental friendly containers. If you visit Firehouse for take-out please bring your own container that will not impact landfill. read more

I've eaten at other Firehouse locations and the sandwiches at this one were delicious as expected. They've got a Freestyle soda machine and their iced tea tastes brewed not canned. Do yourself a favor though, and pass on the brownie. I've never been served a brownie that was more stale and disgusting. I shouldn't even have taken a bite, but I don't judge a book by its cover. read more

Very very slow service. Didn't tell us there was a large phone order to fill before ours. Sandwiches came unmarked so had to pick through them to figure out which was which. Also ordered cheese and condiments that were not on the sandwich. read more

Signed up for their rewards and got a free soda with my sub!! I ordered the Italian in wheat bread. It was so good!!!! They have a huge section of hot sauces that I need to try. I'll be back!! read more

This place is a butthole. I waited 30 minutes for my sandwich and watched the girl making it take money 3 times and not wash her hands once. Then when I got my food 2 of the 3 sandwiches were wrong. Then the girl with the goofy eyebrows asked me what was wrong with them. I said they were supposed to be Turkey. read more

Great sandwich, beat all other subs hands down. All ingredients are fresh and high quality.

Firehouse Subs is the best Sandwich spot in Olympia, Lacey area by far. Good ingredients, good bread and an awesome hot sauce selection. The only thing missing is a good beer on tap. The interior is large and with a bright open airy feel. Friendly staff, looks like good management. The steak and cheese sub (Philly Cheese Steak) with sautéed onions, peppers, sautéed mushrooms and pickled jalapeños with a few dashes of hot sauce, HEAVEN!!! I will be back way to much! And the restaurant is totally Trans Fat free. read more

Great place! Had them today for the first time. They were super friendly, guys knew exactly what was on each sandwich and it was a delicious sandwich at that! I would recommend! read more

This is one of our favorite places to eat. We try something new everytime we go and have yet to find something that wasn't good. They have some of the best pickles. We like to buy the buckets too. read more

First time visiting with my wife, daughter, and son in law. Fast and friendly service. They goofed my order up in a very minor way but were very quick to want to fix it. It wasn't a big goof so a fix wasn't really needed. They still made a sandwich correctly to take home and also included a coupon for a free sandwich. In my opinion, that's superior customer service, so they have my 5 star review... read more

So happy that firehouse finally opened "nearby". Sub was good but the bread seemed undercooked compared to what I'm used to from the chain. It was still tasty read more

Firehouse Subs - The bread seemed less cooked than what I've had from the chain before but was still tasty - Fast Food Near Me - Lacey, Washington

This place makes a great sandwich but why they opened a store in this strip mall is beyond me. Parking is terrible because Red Robin is a few doors down. Trying to get in and out of the place is insane with all the traffic. We would go here all the time but because of the location and because there is no other Firehouse Subs around we don't go. Not worth the headache to find a place to park and deal with the traffic. read more

This is a new franchise in town and I truly enjoyed my experience here. The store is clean, spacious and has great customer service. The menu has a line of healthy lower calorie sandwiches that I tried. The combo lunch was perfect. They provide a really good pickle for the lunch combo and that's important to me. They have an environment hat is community oriented and I liked the respect shown to service people here. Others patrons told me I shouldn't walk by for lunch next door. I liked the look of this sub shop, so I tried it and I'm a fan I highly recommend trying his place read more

Food was great but the employees aren't wearing their masks correctly, which is risking a lot of health violations during COVID. I felt uneasy with their "precautions" theyve taken. Just wear the mask over your face. Only one employee was wearing it right, I appreciate her doing that when her fellow employees wouldn't read more

What can i say - it's firehouse! Always MTO, always fresh, super helpful & quick staff!!

The hubby and I wanted quick food tonight and decided to give this place a try. The husband ordered a sandwich with mushrooms, turkey, and cheese and it was delicious. I ordered the chicken, bacon, ranch sandwich and it was so good! We both got medium sized sandwiches, and it filled us up. The cheddar broccoli soup was delicious as well. The interior is clean. Workers are fast and thorough. The manager walked around, making sure everyone was satisfied with their food. We are definitely bringing the kids by to try sometime soon! read more

I had a great experience at firehouse subs. The staff was friendly and welcoming and the food was amazing! This is the best sub sandwich place I have ever been to. Try it out. You will not be disappointed! read more

Saturday, August 4th was out first visit to Firehouse Subs. We were very disappointed. There were 2 people in line in front of me and 4 employees working behind the counter. I ordered 2 sandwiches and it took 23 minutes to get my food to go. A person who ordered after me got his sandwich before me. When we got home to eat the sandwiches barely had any meat on them and looked so far from the picture it wasn't even funny. The taste was good but with the poor service and lack of ingredients we probably won't be returning. read more

Super awesome staff. Subs are very tasty and the place is clean. Even my kids enjoyed it! Much better than local competition and supports a great cause. read more

First, their sandwiches are usually pretty good, add service is slow, but respectful, and good. I enjoy that I can make a donation to firefighters with my meal. This review is on my experience tonight. Behavior tonight was pretty disappointing though. I work retail, and I know it sucks when customers come in right before close. I got to this location tonight 12 minutes before they closed (I happened to be that late because I stayed 45 minutes after my store closed to help a customer). I could see the 2 younger employees cleaning up the dining area (not the usual super buff dude who is always awesome) and went to enter to find the door locked. I waived at the employees and they pretended like they didn't notice and put their heads down and continued to mop/clean the counter. I stood outside the door yelping for an open place while asking my wife what she wanted, and watched 3 people get the same experience. If there was some emergency or something no big deal. But closing up early because you're lazy, and ignoring customers with no explanation is inexcusable. read more

I thought it was gonna be pretty expensive for what I got, I ordered delivery through mytown2go and when it arrived my bbq sandwich was EVERYTHING I hoped for and more. Don't fret these subs are FIRE worth every penny and tip read more

By far the best subs around. The bread, the meat, the toppings.... all are way above any other sub place around! The price is definitely worth the quality! read more

Firehouse was my favorite sub shop when I lived in Florida. The décor is top notch and feels a rung above (see what I did there) the other subs shops in the area. It took a little longer than I expected to get my Hook and Ladder sub but I assume folks are still being trained since it recently opened. Long story short, It was well worth the wait. Looks like I found my new favorite sub spot in the South Sound! read more

I ordered a Hook & Ladder chopped salad with onion ad an extra. The salad I received had 60 of these center stems from the head of lettuce! That was the MAJORITY of the lettuce in the salad! I also didn't get the onion!!! I brought it to the manager's attention and, to her credit, she asked if I wanted another one made. I did not! She said that the lettuce comes pre-packaged in a bag. I don't care! If you see that that is the quality of the lettuce you receive then it should be sent back to the distributor for replacement! Sorry, but I won't eat here again!!! read more

Don't waste your time or money! We paid $40 for a kids meal, a vegetarian sandwich, and a chicken sandwich. They didn't give us the side or drink for the kids meal, and the veggie sandwich was missing half the ingredients and was completely soggy on the bottom, so bad it was barley edible. I understand mistakes happen so I called to just let them know and the employee told me to call back the next day when the manager was working for a refund on the items that weren't correct. I called EVERY DAY FOR A WEEK and it went to voicemail. I tried all different times of day and no one answered. Today I called again, no answer. So I thought I'd try something... blocked my number and called back a minute later and they answered the phone. They had been screening my call! The manger Tamera was instantly defensive and started making excuses for everything. She didn't solve the issue and I will not be getting my refund. This week long saga was ridiculous and not worth it for a sub par meal and horrible customer service! read more

My first time here. Tried the #6 club, it was possibly the best sub I've ever had to be honest. The turkey and ham on it was so fresh and the pickle the sub came with was really cold. Recommend trying the cherry limeade! read more

Definitely the best subs around. Friendly staff affordable pricing. Proceeds go to a great cause.

We waited 20 minutes for our order of 1 small sub Mac n ccheese and 1 large sub. They didn't put breadd crumbs on the Mac and cheese which they ask if I wanted and I also didn't get my pickle. Not a big deal just a sucky experience read more

This place used to not be so good. But I went recently for the first time in a while and the kitchen looks a lot cleaner than I remember and the employees seem passionate about what they do! You can taste it in the sandwiches too. 4 months ago, I would've given this place a 2 stars. read more
