Delicious sandwich! Love the freestyle coke machine with their signature limeade. Nice place for a lunch.

Turkey Bacon Ranch was so good!

Friendly employees and spotless restaurant. My sandwich was delicious and filled with ingredients that poured over the bread. Which is the best kind of sandwich, not just mostly bread. My mac-n-cheese was cold, but that's ok because it tasted great as well.

    Small turkey, bacon, ranch. Delicious!

First time in Firehouse on this beautiful sunny day. We were greeted right away when we walked in. You walk up to order then have a seat. I tried their turkey bacon ranch as a small, and I wish I got a medium it was so good! There was plenty of meat and my sandwich came with a fresh crunchy pickle. It came out timely and everyone was working so hard. The restaurant has plenty of seating, and it was clean! There were a few families that came from a fastpitch game and they put together a few tables to enjoy their meals together, so sweet! Overall great first impression, it was a nice environment! Will be back!

Decor is Aloha flashy but tasteful, just like the ones that draw the touristy haole crowd on the islands. Food reminiscent of the hole in the wall/food truck type places on the North Shore that usually serve up the more authentic flavor. And service that is quick, efficient and helpful w/o being too superficial, hovering and always in your face. With regards to our visit, definitely that laid back island attitude. As for the food, ono grindz fo sure. Not all gourmet but will feed that need. As mentioned before, you order a meal and it comes with the standard grindz, like in Hawai'i. In my case, loco moco done right, with two burger patties, two eggs, and a side of Hawaiian mac, no extra charge. Kalua pork, with rice and a side of Hawaiian mac, no extra charge. Katsu chicken, with rice and side of Hawaiian mac, no extra charge. All seriously good grub yeah. Spam musubi, if you read my reviews, you know my musubi standards. This one definitely makes my good musubi list. The one thing I haven't run into in other places here in Washington that L&L offered, MALASADAS! Nice, fresh, warm, sugary, MALASADAS! Not the soulless impersonations offered up at the Asian buffets, or the fancy jelly filled exotic bakery types. Genuine, no frills, Hawaiian MALASADAS! It has been a minute since I've had one this good. Next time, this may be all I will be ordering. Regardless, L&L Hawaiian Barbecue will definitely get a return visit from this local boy.

Then I saw their TikTok last night, and let me tell you, that video had me craving it instantly. The scrumptiousness was living rent free in my brain all night, so today my son and I had to stop in and see what the hype was about. We ordered the Sour Diesel, the Fire, and the Afgoo, all on their toasted jalapeño cheese bread. First of all, the female employee who helped us was so friendly and welcoming. We do not eat out much, so we were genuinely excited and maybe a little impatient to try them. When they handed us the sandwiches, I immediately noticed how heavy they were. And the smell in the car on the way home, oh my goodness. Pure torture waiting to unwrap them. Then we got home and opened them up, and I was honestly shocked in the best way. There was actually a MEAL on that bread. Not one of those sad sandwiches that's 80 percent lettuce and air. These were loaded. My teenage son even commented on how good his was, and trust me, teen approval is not handed out lightly. The portions were generous, the flavors were bold, and each sandwich was totally unique and delicious. I can confidently say I have found a new favorite sub spot. Total hidden gem if you love a good sandwich that actually fills you up and tastes incredible. I did not grab a shake this time because it was freezing outside, but after seeing all the flavor options on the menu, I will absolutely be trying one next visit. Highly recommend in every aspect. I love when you try somewhere new and it completely exceeds expectations. This one is a must try.

I went inside to place an order. Although initially vacant at first, the space was quickly occupied by following customers lining up after my arrival. One of the employees appeared to be taking out the trash while the other greeted me and helped me with my order when I arrived. There were various options for ordering, but I decided to go with the nori wrap. You can select a customized option or go with one of their premade choices, which lists all the ingredients inside. I was feeling seafood so I went with the Seahawk. The employee asked me if I wanted everything with it, and I asked to just sub one of the sauces with the Chipotle sauce. The portions are definitely huge and worth the pricing, because she had to double wrap my order just so it would all fit and wouldn't fall out. To pair with the nori wrap, I also ordered the original miso soup, which comes with the usual tofu and seaweed but is on the sweeter side compared to what I'm used to. I personally like it sweeter but if you don't, I probably wouldn't order it. I don't often crave healthy food, but it was fairly filling and I had a good experience, so I'll be back to try out MiSo again!

I had a hard time believing him because my family jokes and calls it Taco Timmy, since it is the least Mexican looking place that makes tacos. Am I snob about that? Not at all. I love Taco Bell and Chipotle, so I had to come in and try it out. My sister in law warned me not to go because I'd be disappointed- she had been to the restaurant for business and saw how filthy the kitchen was. But when I visited it looked clean and airy, so I didn't let her words deter me from my curiosity. We came on a Sunday and this place had almost no one in it. That was the first sign. Since I love Taco Bell taco supremes, I got the Taco Time equivalent. It was dry. It reminded me of the ones Jack in the box serves where they fry the shell with the meat so that it's a hard, yet oil sopping mess. Taco Time's presentation was better, but that meat... at least Taco Bell's tacos are greasy but well seasoned. What I did like was the tater tots. Crispy, fresh, and plentiful, I'd come back to this place just for the tots. I also liked how the ketchup isn't in squeezy packs, but are packed in a dip sauce container so it's easy to sauce. Those two things earned the place another star. Was there anything else I liked? The parking was plentiful, but that also says something about the place, doesn't it.

I was curious what the hype was with Popeyes, but now I know... I'm sticking to Chick-Fil-A. This is my first AND LAST visit to a Popeyes, ever, due to poor customer service and order inaccuracies. I placed a digital pick-up order today around 3:50 p.m. (PST) through their website and arrived at this Popeyes location around 4:13 p.m. to grab my food at the drive-thru. The order was still not ready, so they asked me to pull to the side at the drive-thru (literally blocking everyone at the exit so they had to drive around me), where I waited until about 4:27 p.m when 4+ cars' already received their order. Usually, I check my takeout orders before I leave, but I was assuming that if it took at least 30 mins to make it, the order would be checked for accuracy before handing it over to the customer??? Almost half of my order was missing! I don't care how busy it gets, I have never had this type of service or this low level of order accuracy at any other Wings restaurant (Chick-Fil-A, Wingstop, Fire Wings, etc. -- you name it). I did not check my order after pickup until I brought it home. That's what I realized I was missing: my Cajun fries, my fried pickles, my condiments of ranch and tarter sauce (which apparently they no longer have, but did not communicate that). I requested sauce on the side (for the condiments), but this was my first time ordering and did not think that meant for the [boneless] wings, so only the honey BBQ & signature hot sauces were given. Obviously, I had to inconveniently drive back to the store (luckily, I live a 10 min drive away).. When I returned to the store and walked inside, I was not greeted, and it took a few minutes for anyone to appear at the register. No surprise that there was a lack of service since the inside was empty of customers (besides one person sitting at a table with their bagged takeout order). Gawd, the vibe was like walking inside a wasteland with deadpan expressions and minimal or a lack of communication amongst all the working employees. I really should have pulled a Karen and asked to speak to a manager, but I managed to remain level-headed to tell them that several items were missing from my order. They said sorry and just gave me the excuse that it was busy. I straight up told them, I get that it's busy, but if it takes over 30 mins to make the food, I would have assumed the order would at least be correct? Then they scooped some fried pickles and Cajun fries for me into individual cartons (after I reminded them several times which items were missing). But the boneless wings? They just drizzled some sauce over it and shook the box in front of me before placing them in a new paper bag with my sides. I was appalled that this is how the sauces are added to the chicken. Or maybe it's the dystopian first-hand view of how cheap chicken can be sloppily made, and the illusion is shattered. The only thing that tasted good and worthwhile was the Gum-Gum lemonade, which is a limited-time beverage anyway. Almost $60 for this level of service and order inaccuracy is ridiculous. Mind you, I received nothing additional from this inconvenience besides pointless "sorrys," cold chicken (for all the time it took to "fix" it), almost $60 wasted, and anger. Do better.

I usually order curbside pickup, and they have about six designated spots, which is honestly more than a lot of other locations I've been to. The curbside service has been pretty solid overall. Employees usually bring out my order quickly, and everything has been accurate so far. I especially love that they actually include the exact number of condiments I request in the app--sauces are non-negotiable for me when it comes to chicky nuggets. From the brief interactions I've had, staff seem friendly enough, and the food is typically hot, fresh, and about as good as you can expect from fast food. My main issue is with their late-night reliability. This location advertises being open 24 hours, but that wasn't the case during our recent visit around midnight today. My husband and I had placed a mobile order, only to arrive and find all McDonald's entrances blocked off with cones and no signage explaining what was going on. We ended up asking someone in a visibility vest, who told us to try walking up to the drive-thru. So we parked in the general plaza parking, and literally walked behind cars in the drive-thru lane, which already felt awkward and strange. It looked like they might have planned some kind of construction(?) work, but there was no clear indication--just one worker we spoke to and another using a leaf blower. When we finally spoke to a cashier, they said they couldn't view or fulfill any orders, without giving a clear explanation. When we mentioned we already paid through the mobile app, we were told to request a refund through the app, which we did end up receiving hours later, but it was still frustrating in the moment since we were hungry, had already spent our remaining funds for the night for McDonald's, and couldn't go elsewhere because everything was closing. As we were leaving, I noticed a worker placing what looked like stencil frames on the ground, possibly to repaint their faded markings for their drive thru directional arrows on the ground. If that was the case, it would've been nice to have some kind of notice ahead of time. Aside from that experience, my visits during the day have been consistently decent. Just probably won't risk coming here late at night again.
