FLAVORED LEMONADE (Blueberry)

I was a little apprehensive about this place considering the reviews... But, either it was a bad night or they made adjustments based on the customer feedback, because I didn't have any issues. I have been here 3 times now. Once an hour before close on a Tuesday night, once in the middle of lunch rush on a Friday, and once around dinner time during the week. All 3 visits I was greeted & seated immediately. I chose to sit in the dining room, since I don't drink. But you can sit in the bar, they have high top tables. My server Diana C came over within a few minutes and took my drink order. Came back promptly with drinks, and took my food order. She was attentive and friendly, and the food came out pretty quickly each time. The food was prepared correctly, seasoned well, and portions were generous. They have a great variety of items on the menu to choose from and cover breakfast through dinner. The experience was great, and I had no complaints. So I went back two more times, and the service, food, and vibes were consistently good.

Came here after my niece did her band concert at school and this was the right place for a quick nosh. Got a cup of clam chowder which was just enough food. The niece got a burger and she seemed fine with it and my sister in law inhaled her tacos. Mom tried the fish and chips, but she was already done in by the clam chowder so she made me eat it. It was a little greasy and airy, so it wasn't my favorite. What I liked was the quick service and our waitress was very friendly and helpful. She also put our drinks in a to go cup since we barely drank it as we stuffed our mouths, so that was a nice touch.

Boneless wings partially filled from what i normally get. Inconsistent on the chefs behalf numerous times.

Is this the type of place that a person could have lunch casually by themself earlier in the day, maybe whip the laptop out and get some work done? Or is it mostly pretty busy, noisy, etc during the early afternoon?

Then I saw their TikTok last night, and let me tell you, that video had me craving it instantly. The scrumptiousness was living rent free in my brain all night, so today my son and I had to stop in and see what the hype was about. We ordered the Sour Diesel, the Fire, and the Afgoo, all on their toasted jalapeño cheese bread. First of all, the female employee who helped us was so friendly and welcoming. We do not eat out much, so we were genuinely excited and maybe a little impatient to try them. When they handed us the sandwiches, I immediately noticed how heavy they were. And the smell in the car on the way home, oh my goodness. Pure torture waiting to unwrap them. Then we got home and opened them up, and I was honestly shocked in the best way. There was actually a MEAL on that bread. Not one of those sad sandwiches that's 80 percent lettuce and air. These were loaded. My teenage son even commented on how good his was, and trust me, teen approval is not handed out lightly. The portions were generous, the flavors were bold, and each sandwich was totally unique and delicious. I can confidently say I have found a new favorite sub spot. Total hidden gem if you love a good sandwich that actually fills you up and tastes incredible. I did not grab a shake this time because it was freezing outside, but after seeing all the flavor options on the menu, I will absolutely be trying one next visit. Highly recommend in every aspect. I love when you try somewhere new and it completely exceeds expectations. This one is a must try.

Staff was super friendly upon entering and my wife need time to decide so the lady gave us the run down on the new everything bagel bread and gave us some more time. We decided on the mowie wowie and the super dank. These choices did not disappoint! The crushed Doritos on mine man just set it off. My wife's chicken was straight fire! And when my wife was paying she clicked the tip wrong and ended up giving a $20 which wasn't a biggie to us but the worker asked again because it was such a large tip if we wanted to correct it we both looked at eachother declined for her to have the owner fix it. The friendly greeting we got and the helpful manner they all had they deserved the tip. So I bought my son a rice crispy ball and we waited, once she brought it out she told us they put extra bacon on them and tossed in the scooby snack and a rice crispy ball because of the tip which was super awesome of them! Again with the great customer service we've always got when we've been to the Marvin rd location same here staff is awesome food is freaking amazing!!! Before we left my son wanted to ask the owner about his lambo deliveries lol and asked if he could come to Yelm lol The owner said he was hoping to expand to Yelm which would be freaking awesome! Great people great food just all around awesome place to be can't wait for the Yelm expansion!!!!! Ps. Forgot to take pics food was too fire and gone before I remembered to take some pics lol

Saturday, March 14, 2026…read more I placed an online order for two whole sandwiches through the Square site at 3:56 PM, with a pickup time of 4:24 PM. We arrived at 4:20 to find the restaurant not particularly busy. One family with a child was behind us in line. When I told the staff we had an online order, I was told it was busy and they hadn't started on it yet. We sat down and waited. At 4:36, the family behind us received their full order, including a drink which I thought was odd given they'd ordered after us. Our order was ready a minute later, at 4:37. Unlike the family with the child, no one brought our bag to the table. It was left on the counter for us to retrieve. I had tipped 20% at the time of ordering. Yay me. $44.57 after tip and taxes for two whole sandwiches. No DoorDash or third-party orders came in while we waited, so it's possible a large order came in just before we arrived. It also seems likely the staff weren't actively monitoring the Square queue. Our order may have sat for nearly 24 minutes before anyone saw it. Food: The sandwiches are genuinely amazing. Five stars, no hesitation. To the owner: Sam, I've known of you since before you opened the store on Whitman and we used to go to the drive-thru near the car wash years ago. Your father, from whom I've bought two cars, recommended your shop years ago. I root for local businesses and I root for you. I'm sharing this not to pile on, but because I think these are solvable problems: better monitoring of online orders and a small gesture of bringing food to seated customers goes a long way toward keeping people coming back. Reader, the timeline above is my honest recollection. If the sandwiches are your goal and you have time to spare, they're worth it. Food: 5/5 | Service: 3/5 | Overall: 4/5 Sam, feel free to reach out via Yelp.

I finally got to try Katsu Burger with my son earlier this week (weekday afternoon), and I can…read moreconfidently say it lived up to the hype! When I initially walked in, it wasn't too busy, but it filled up quickly while I was still figuring out how to order. They use a kiosk system where you choose dine-in or takeout, and it's nicr that each menu item had photos and ingredient descriptions so it made it way easier to decide, especially for our first visit. The space itself is small and quaint with a couple tables, but full of lovely art. There's lots of cute anime and Japanese-themed decor, including figurines, plushies, and artwork, giving the place such a cozy, cutesy aesthetic. I also noticed they might be hiring, based on the sign at the entrance. I came here because my cousin-in-law (who lives in upper Washington) mentioned the place, and I needed a redemption meal after being disappointed by another chicken spot recently. Katsu Burger definitely delivered! The burgers here aren't your typical American-style burgers. They don't taste as greasy and sub cabbage instead of lettuce, similar to garnish for a tonkatsu plate. And surprisingly, the photos on the kiosk actually match what you get (no false advertising here!). The employee behind the counter was super kind and helped guide us through the ordering process. I don't think they take cash so maybe that's why orders are placed through the kiosk. For food: My son ordered the Tokyo Tower burger as-is, and I tried the Umami Burger with light cabbage (not a huge fan of crunchy water veggies like lettuce/cabbage/etc.). Both were AMAZING. I have heard of tonkatsu but I had no idea what beef katsu was before this. Thought it was just a regular beef patty, but wow.. it was crispy, flavorful, and just overall delicious. We ordered takeout and didn't even get home for about 30 minutes, but the food was still warm enough to enjoy without reheating. Portion-wise, my burger was perfect: filling but manageable (i think i made the right choice with light cabbage). My son's Tokyo Tower was massive (almost too big for him to handle xD), but we both agreed everything tasted incredible. I was tempted to try a bento box, but I knew I wouldn't finish it if I was already ordering a katsu burger. Next time though! My son already has his eye on the enormous Mt. Fuji burger, so we'll definitely be back. Parking is decent, though it can get busy during the day since it's near a gym and other businesses. Overall, if you're in the Lacey area, you HAVE to try this Katsu Burger at least once. It looks like they have about 8 other locations too in the other towns so if you're not in Lacey, there still might be one nearby you. The burgers are absolutely the star of the show :) I'm already looking forward to our next visit!

I recently moved back to Lacey from Seattle and am glad to see great restaurants from Seattle choosing to open up shop here. I absolutely love burgers, I actually prefer mine no frills and class. I didn't live close to a Firehouse Subs at my last address so I had never bothered signing up for an account (& all my friends + coworkers often ordered for me at work lol). Now that I'm down the street from a Firehouse Subs, I signed up for an account and ordered online for pickup at this location, which came with a discount for first-time customers ($10 off, if I recall correctly). Understandably, my order was not ready by the time that I arrived, since I placed the order 5 mins before arrival. I didn't mind the wait since the restaurant was fairly clean and I was able to use their public restroom. The employee working on my order was nice enough to inform me that they were working on it, so I wouldn't be left guessing where I am in the queue, since a couple customers entered after me, probably waiting for their takeout orders as well. It took some time until my order was ready (probably just another 10 or so minutes) but waiting isn't a problem for me, as long as my order is made correctly. I didn't eat my sub immediately after I arrived home but by the time I opened it up a few hours later, I was very pleased to find that the bread was not soggy, my order was accurate since all my customization preferences were followed, and everything tasted delicious! I will definitely be returning when I am craving a sub :)

I got the Italian which is buy one, get one free. Thought I scored a deal! The sandwich. Ohhh, the sandwich. Soggy, messy, dry meat, all at the same time. The Italian sauce is so sweet I thought they got the wrong dressing on the sandwich. I added olives. I found all six of them. The sandwich was just a disaster. I also ordered chips. None were found. While I get that restaurants expect the drivers to pick the chips up, if I ordered and walked in on my own, I would think staff would say "Chips are on your side, just pick out the ones you need" My husband pre-warned me before the order arrived (unfortunately the order was already made on the app and it was too late to cancel) but I had hope it wasn't so bad because it came straight to us and the place had been in business for quite a while. All in all, thanks but no thanks.
