I haven't visited a firehouse subs in a long time. And I also for some reason hadn't put it together that it was a firehouse themed restaurant looool. Anywho sitting in there provides some history with the directives and shows ways you can support firefighters. They also make a fire sub! They offer a variety of subs with customization options. Not pictured I ordered tuna salad sub with a dash of cajun mustard. It hit! I also got jalapeno chips! I appreciated the fresh ingredients and the service. The cashier was friendly and easily described the options for ordering a sub. Now this particular location is well out of my jurisdiction but I will be visiting the one near me soon. read more

I was the only car in the drive through. I ordered a steamer on white. When I got home and opened the bag I discovered they gave me the wrong sandwich. It had lettuce, cheese, roast beef and ham. I order this on UberEats almost every Friday when I'm working from home. I get the turkey sandwich on white bread with all the ingredients I like and it's honestly one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life. A few years ago, I catered Firehouse Subs for my baby shower, and I wouldn't recommend that because the sandwiches come very dry and your guests have to put their own condiments on it. The mayo packets were yellow, which made everyone think it was mustard, and that was the only condiment the catering actually came with. Was a weird experience. I live all way in Pattison and so wish there was one closer to me. I always get the Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket. mmmMMMM So anytime I come to Katy I have to have my Firehouse. There have been times I drive to Katy just to get my firehouse. SSSSHHH don't tell my other half, lol. The workers especially the Manager has always been super nice and professional. Go to this location! You would not be disappointed. Any concerns you have with service or food they are right on it. Well don't know how to get what we pay for here. Last 4 times we have done drive through it was all wrong. Why do they ask if you want a pickle and you say yes but don't get one. Why is turkey bacon club without bacon. Thats not what we ordered. Why do you ask and pay for mushrooms on the steak and cheese and don't get mushrooms. I have been craving firehouse subs for days. Funny story, I woke up at 9 am the other morning and had a craving for a hook and ladder. I finally got my sandwich tonight. This location was very clean. Probably the cleanest firehouse subs I've seen. This location also has a drive thru which I thought was really cool. We ate inside but I am more likely to come to this location since there is a drive thru and I wouldn't have to get out my car. Firehouse subs is ALWAYS good no matter which location you go to. I always get the hook and ladder. My husband gets the New York steamer add honey mustard and oil & vinegar. I would recommend you to try it that way too. The rewards program is really good too, you can easily gain rewards and who doesn't like something free every now and then. read more

This was my first time trying this place out tonight, I ordered the brisket sub in the medium size and when I got home I was very disappointed in the size of the sandwich. I really wanted a good, hearty, meaty, and tasty meatball sub. I couldn't believe how good Firehouse sub was. The bread was soft and a bit dense so it doesn't fall apart with all that sauce. The meatballs were juicy and had great flavor of herbs and aromatics in it. The sauce was hearty and had a small tang of sour, sweet and spicy. I have asked them multiple times "Are you going to put on new gloves the next time you touch the food because you just handled my money?". They seem suprised. I visited yesterday for a late lunch (around 1:30) and my bill came to $8.92. I did not have enough in small bills/coins to pay so I gave a $100 bill. The manager indicated he could not change that. I then dug through my purse to see how much I could come up with and I had $7.64. I told them that was all I had besides the $100. My sandwich had already been made but this manager still opted to turn me away as a customer because he couldn't make change. If I ran the store, I would have given it for the amount the customer which was just $1.28 short- knowing that customer will remember and be back. I will never go in there again. read more

I ordered a sub online and this location has a drive-thru so when I went to pick it up I pulled straight up to the window. I sat there for about 5 minutes before anyone noticed I was there. The woman that came to window starting chastising me telling me that I should have stopped at the order station so they knew I was there. Like I'm supposed know what their protocol is. Friendly advice to ownership and business lesson 101, make sure your employees are not rude to customers.
