First off; a Meatball sub is ITALIAN. For the record, NO Italian recipe calls for PICKLES: So, why would I find 2 long dill pickle spears on top of my Meatball sub? I am allergic to pickles. There is no disclosure anywhere to be found. The pickles where on top for at least 20 til my wife got home with it. I immediately called these people and spoke to a girl...who readily agreed that pickles on a sub sandwich was stupid. When I ask for the owner, I was on hold for 15 min. The ACTING (and believe she was acting) thuggett. Told me I was threatening them by telling them I was going to call the owner and hung up on me. Website says this location opens at 10:30 a.m.. But we were turned away at 10:45a.m by employees sitting outside at the patio tables that they were closed. No explanation given.. they most likely saw that we were a party of 6 and decided that was just too much for them to handle at the time. We have ordered several times from Firehouse and have had nothing but good results. Tonight we had the New York Steamer and Meatball Sub. Both were generous and delicious. This place has great food. Thats where the good ends. If you want employees that are respectful and courteous if you want fast or if you want a pleasant dining experience DO NOT EAT HERE. The staff lied about a mask mandate I tried to explain I had lung issues and couldn't wear a mask they flat out lied and demanded I put one on or they could be fined,which is a lie, I stepped outside and they brought my food ,late and cold, they were hot sandwiches, I expressed my dissatisfaction and left. Driving to Texas from NY and stopped in for a quick dinner. Michael was so pleasant and helpful. Food was fast, fresh and yummy.

Horrible service and the restaurant was dirty when I was there last. It was not even busy and no one was attempting to clean up.

The subs are really good and filling. The people are friendly, place is clean. The 4 out of 5 is cost. Also the chili had the basic canned taste. Love the tea ice machine. read more

Would have had 5 stars but they failed at asking if we wanted to donate our change to the cause they support. And we had to ask them as the donation box was not on the counter of even in site it was in the back they had not brought it out. As a field service Engineer, I travel a lot and frequently have to grab quick meals. I've made it a point to avoid the likes of McDonald's and go for sandwich shops. For my niche Firehouse is a far better alternative to subway. Excellent addition to thw subshop selections.Everything is very fresh and served in a timely manner.They offer an under 500 calories menu,which I'm a big fan. So far the Turkey Salsa Verde is my favorite. Sliced Turkey breast with Jack cheese,salsa Verde islands lettuce,tomato and onion served hot.Very tasty.
