The free bread they serve is kinda like an Italian sourdough with olive oil and Italian spices. Very soft on the inside and fresh. This place is very small, it's pretty loud, & not as elegant as Bistro Eleven Sixty. (Same food, same owner, new location) Note: Would not seat you until entire party was at the door, and available. There was 3 of us. My wife, My MIL, & myself. With tip it averaged $60 each. (The experience was slow. Like 2 hrs) The bread is fantastic, and super hot. (Yeast Rolls, with Olive Oil and Pesto) We did have an appetizer, it was the whipped ricotta. Not as good as we had remembered, but not bad either. Wife had two Apple Martinis so factor that into the overall cost. (Said good) Side salads chosen was Grilled Caesar if you know you know. Flat Iron made this an art form. However, ours was just ok. (They were super busy, and none of the three were grilled nicely) My wife had the Halibut, she said this was cooked perfectly, and very light. It was presented on bed of pasta. While she sad it was nice, Risotto would of been a much better combo. It came with choice of salads. She had grilled. My MIL had the Pasta Carbonara, she said it was just ok. Not a lot of sauce, so it was a little dry. Would preferred this option adding Chicken. Did not ask, so not sure if that could happen. She also and the grilled Caesar salad. I had the Peasant Pasta, the portions were very large like my MIL's, so had plenty of leftovers. This was fantastic, if I was to make any adjustments, the mustard taste was a little strong. So it had little bit of a bite, but not spicy. No room for dessert, so nothing tried. Would I come back? Yes this was very lengthy review, and I'm sure if reading it all you might be wondering. Possibly, since we loved it as Bistro Eleven Sixty. As I said above, it needs some tuning, but Vicari is superior option currently.
