I went here late, around 8pm to grab dinner after traveling all day. I ordered the Zesty Garlic Hook and Ladder. This came with Smoked turkey, honey ham, pepper jack cheese, onions marinated in HOT ONES Garlic Fresno Hot Sauce, and seasoned garlic chips. I made this a combo with chips and a drink along with a sweet treat. The Hook and Ladder is my favorite so I was excited to try a new variation. It tasted the same with a pickled onions addition. The favor profile was interesting with the crunch and kimchi effect but I think I preferred the original more. The store had two people proving support that night. One was making sandwiches while the other was cleaning the dining room preparing to close. When I was there, three other customers came in but we all got our food quickly. My co-worker and I stop at this Firehouse Subs every week because she prefers their bread, and staff usually greet her by name and appear familiar with her regular order. During our most recent visit, an employee behind the counter stated, "I know her order" and "I have got it" before she had finished ordering. However, when the food came out, the sandwich was toasted even though she specifically did not want it toasted, and the requested ranch was missing. When my co-worker politely went back to explain the issue and said, "I didn't want it toasted," the employee responded by saying, "It is always toasted," then stated they were "sick of your shit," offered a refund, and told her she was banned from returning to the store. The interaction was surprising and upsetting, especially considering we have been regular customers for a long time. read more

Visited with neighbor who is 89 years old for lunch. Had planned on eating across parking lot at Roadhouse Restaurant, but they weren't open. They were not busy at all, no waiting. At least 5 employee's, 2 at register and 3 behind food counter doing NOTHING except, impatiently waiting for my elderly friend to order. Annoyed... When the food was done (almost immediately), they LOUDLY (almost no one in the restaurant), they repeatedly YELLED her name. She is hard of hearing, which they knew, because that was revealed when she ordered. That's with no customers waiting and at least 3 employees standing around behind the food area. TOO LAZY TO PICK UP THE BASKETS AND WALK THEM TO THE TABLE. We did not expect special service, but I also did not expect to have them YELL her name repeatedly while she was getting water. RUDE! Neighbor ordered the Brisket sandwich. I ordered Steak and Cheese. BOTH SANDWHICHES WERE TEPID, BARELY PAST COLD. NOT EVEN WARM. As far as being "loaded" with meat or vegetables, that was the furthest thing that was true. Barely any meat or other ingredients on the sandwiches. The BUN was LARGE, deceptively large, in an attempt to make the skimpy ingredients (meat, vegetables) noticeable. By early evening, I began having stomach problems, gas, etc. I will NEVER eat at this place again and will share my experience with anyone who asks. A lot of MONEY for almost nothing. I've gotten their meatball subs many times over the last year and at first it was amazing, but I've found myself ordering less and less because I always feel sick afterwards. Not worth it. Don't bother ordering ahead, you'll still have to wait ten minutes for your food. I ordered ahead of time and was told to arrive at 12:24. I got there at 12:30 and they hadn't started my food yet. So I might as well have ordered there. In fact, a line of four people came up after I had arrived and asked about my order. Each of those people got their food before I did. Despite eating my sandwich as soon as I got it, it was somehow still incredibly soggy. I don't know how they manage to make these Sandwiches as wet as they do. My friend needed a vegetarian sandwich and it still ended up with ham on it. And with a bunch of other crap she did not want on it. It's really shitty to pay so much for a sandwich you can't even eat. Lastly, the staff working at the time of my pickup were super rude and weird. The man at the register was fine, but the three people making sandwiches were yelling at each other and swearing at one another. We've frequented the Bozeman franchise of Firehouse Subs for many years ... but have finally reached a level of disappointment that warrants submitting this review. Hopefully it will prompt them to raise their game once again. Our latest attendance saw filthy floors, VERY slow service and general lack of customer service. Watching the employees socialize and chat-it-up while we're sitting there awaiting but ONE sandwich was an effort in frustration. Observing the filth on the floors makes me question the overall level of cleanliness and I can only imagine what the table tops might hold in store. Luckily the food is still good; too bad the other elements of a first rate operation are lacking. read more

My wife and I both like their subs, both warm and cold ones. We have tried many of them over the last two years, and they've all been good. Our usual (and favorite) sub shop was closed and we decided to try this place. We were not disappointed! The food here is delicious. The gluten free bread here is amazing. It's seriously the best gluten free bread I've ever had a sub/sandwich place. And, the staff working were very helpful in making menu suggestions for me. They were also very fast! We were out the door with our subs in less than 10 minutes. Glad our usual place was closed because we now have a new favorite place! read more

A lack luster greeting when we walked in followed by an undertrained order taker. Our three subs took just over 10 minutes to make and at first I thought "well it is dinner time", however there were only a handful of people present. Food came, meat was warm but the bread was cold. We were greeted very warmly by a nice young lady as soon as we entered the shop. The place had quite a few patrons for 2:30 in the afternoon. We had the turkey bacon sub and it was absolutely delicious. Love this place...what's better than a warm fresh sub for a casual meal. read more

When I walked in, there were about 6-7 people at different tables all with receipt in hand and playing with their phone. It appeared some were frustrated with their wait time. All I can say is that it was bad. We walked in and were greeted well by employees. One helped us read the menu and decide what to get but that's pretty much where the good things ended. We took ours to go and I live about 2 minutes from the place. As we got in the car I unwrapped my sandwich to take the first bite and it was already fully soggy. The bread was dry and crumbly both some sort of stale frozen taste. There were 9 people working, yet we had to wait for several minutes because no one was paying attention. Sandwich was good, a bit pricey for the small ones, but I liked it. The older guy working, perhaps a manager, was less than friendly and very unprofessional and rude toward the staff, not impressed at all.
