Good pizza, slow service. A nice view of main if your luck yo get one if two tables. Which we did, this certainly enhanced the experience, thus the three stars. read more

Nice place. Good food. Family really enjoyed the shaded patio in the summer. The basil lemonade was distinctive and refreshing. We started with tea and switched to the lemonade, both come with refills but we were charged with multiple drinks. That was a bummer. Pizza is thin and crisp with good ingredients. Kids even ate it well for being finer food. read more

Yum yum yum! We had the fired up and bacon green chili pizzas! 3 of us ate 2, 12 inch pizzas and left nothing behind. We always go to Steamworks and have pizza, but now we have a worthy contender. read more

Awesome pizza! Margarita was excellent. Despite it being Labor Day weekend the service was good. Didn't care for the bread used for the meatball sandwich (expected a traditional Italian loaf). Would definitely eat there again. read more

Tried this place while on vacation after consulting Yelp. The hand tossed crust was thin but not overly done. I let my wife order our pie and she got the Capriciolla. It had lots of toppings including ham, artichoke hearts, and olives. Was not something I would normally order, being a sausage and pepperoni kind of guy, but I was not disappointed. My mother in law has to get gluten free crust, and she said that it tasted like normal crust, not the gluten free kind she is used to. She is not easy to please, but she was quite happy with her pizza. read more

This was a true authentic pizza. We are in Durango on vacation and wanted pizza. Yelp said this was the best and it was right. One of the best pizzas I have ever had. read more

Soggy center pizza drives me crazy!! Every pizza at our table was soggy in the middle and difficult to eat. Not very inspiring combinations. This is a run if he mill touristy pizza place. read more

Great service, good food. Although I would not recommend the sausage. It's a personal taste thing. My minor complaint, more fresh tomato sauce on the margarita pizza. read more

Probably the best wood fired pizza west of the Mississippi. Was there this past winter during an extended stay in Durango. Ate there a few times, fresh ingredients, cooked to perfection. Obviously a tourist destination and also a locals hangout. Can't wait to get back. read more

The cheese, pepperoni and capricciosa pizzas were all amazing. Wood-fired pizza at it's best! We will definitely be back next time we're in Durango. read more

Killer pizza. Amazing staff. Great location. Lunch specials are an awesome bargain. It's a once-a-week treat for me when I can.

Best dam pizza in Durango. Crazy good. We have had there meat lovers type. The mushroom and sausage. Every topping is fresh. The staff are very friendly and nice. I alway get the margart base. So good read more

Stuffed mushrooms were excellent and pizza was crispy and very tasty. Service was outstanding!

Much-better-than-it-has-to-be wood-fired pizza spot on Main Street. Lemon Rucola pizza was the highlight- margherita base with peppery arugula, shaved Parmesan, and a lemon wedge to squeeze over the whole thing. Very unique combination I haven't had anywhere else and will seek out again. They do simple very well- the margherita and pepperoni pizzas were excellent and we took all the leftovers (including rinds of discarded crust from our kids!). House salad was forgettable but forgivable. Family friendly with nice cocktail and wine/beer list. read more

We arrived on a busy Saturday night with 5 of us. They had very few tables that accommodate 5 people and we waited while others who arrived after us were seated first. I was getting quite frustrated wondering why they were not being creative in seating us. They did keep us informed on when we might be seated. When we were finally seated our waitress was right there, taking our order. She was really, really good - making sure drinks were full and bringing our meals quickly. The pizza was delicious, especially the fired up. The hard lemon basil had really great flavor. In the end, they took off the kids drinks as an apology for the wait. They more than redeemed themselves and I am so glad we waited. read more

Great service and excellent food. The jalapeño dip was excellent. There were 4 of us and we each had a different pizza. The crust was nice and thin and very flavorful. read more

My wife and I came in for dinner, My wife had the Grande salad and I had the Smoky pizza. Both were really good, we will come back next time we are in Durango. read more

Good choice of Pizza and a nice relaxed atmosphere. We picked a bad time and had to wait a long time, but i don't think that is the norm.

Went with family, 8 + kids... ordered 5 various pizzas and a couple grande salads... ate every last bite...

Great service, great food. Nice selection of brews. I ate a specialty pizza with local, bacon, mozzarella and green chiles-Yum read more

We stopped in here because smelled so good from outside. The nose did not lie. Food was delicious and the service was prompt and friendly. We were hungry so the two of us ordered bruschetta, spinach salad, and the wifey pizza all to share. The bruschetta was fresh and the garlic chunks and olives made it especially tasty. The plate was huge. The spinach salad was also very good. I like everything with goat cheese, and the figs were a nice touch. The wifey pizza was very good. The crust had a great wood fired taste. No sauce, but lots of mozzarella. Although we were very hungry and the food was great, we still couldn't finish it. But the cold pizza was good for breakfast! read more

Good pizza. Probably the best in Durango. Good wines (for a pizza joint) and friendly staff.

Waiting was so longer. And server said sorry will deliver soon then waited another 15 minutes. Finally delivered food but tasted not good. Decided not to come back read more

Not sure what the hype is about with this place. Went there on Wed night and were told by the hostess that she will be back in a minute to seat us after cleaning empty table that was by the door, which took about 10 minutes. After finally getting seated we were informed the waiter that the pizza takes one minute to put in the oven and 5 minutes to be done. Sounded strange but we went ahead. Ordered a meat lovers pizza and large Caesar salad. The salad arrived in 10 min lacking dressing. I couldn't believe that it was "large" salad so I asked to confirm and for some extra dressing. They shouldn't call it "large" but whatever. After eating the half of the lettuce, the extra dressing finally arrived and made the remaining bites tasty. Then the pizza arrived after 30 min. Almost cold and wasn't tasty at all. The dough was partially burned as well. This place over promised and under delivered. We liked the pizza in Ska brewery better than this actual pizza place. read more

Ordered half pep half sausage. We felt the pizza was bland.... missing something. Asked for a side of sauce since there was very little on the pizza, that took a while so they could " heat it up", but was served cold like straight out of a can. Like straight up tomato sauce with nothing added. Service was good, but with a town full of pizza places I would not go back read more

Great pizza! Authentic wood fired pizza- there's nothing like it. I got the sweet and salty- perfect combination of flavors. Very nice wine choices and mixed drinks are top notch. read more

Great food! Staff was fantastic and friendly. Building has great atmosphere, old bank building. Will be back soon

Absolutely love this place ! The pizza is awesome, great appetizers and really friendly staff! But did I mention the pizza?? Yumm!!!!!

Delicious thin crusted pizza with Hatch green chile! We are from NM and this special touch made us feel at home. The staff and cooks looked like they really loved their jobs- all were attentive and always with a smile. Their fresh house salad with citrus vinaigrette was the bomb. Thank you so much and we will see you on our next trip to Durango. read more

I never thought I would have good things to say about a cauliflower pizza crust, it was amazing! Service was excellent!

Very good wood fire pizza and they were on-time with the order- which was great with hungry kids expecting food. The price was a bit high though. I would eat there again- but would just be forewarned on the price this time. read more

Pizza was good, had fresh ingredients. I would say well above average but not the greatest I've eaten. Very loud and busy place.

Pizza was pretty good! The crust was thin, great sauce, wood stove cooked. The only thing odd for my boyfriend & I was the olive oil on top of the cheese. Made it slightly greasier than we like. The iced tea was bad. It tasted like it had been sitting out a long time, very bitter. That being said, I'd still eat here again for the pizza! read more

This is a wood fired pizza place and they do a great job. the pizza is killer. They also offer vegan cheeses and a huge variety of toppings from figs and nuts to meats and fine cheeses. Kind of pricy though 35 bucks for two people to eat. read more

Had lunch there today. Best pizza we have had in a very long time. Plan on having dinner there tomorrow!

Love at first sight! This place is AWESOME!! So much so that, when we were recently vacationing in Durango, we ate there three times! (and, I don't normally do that kind of thing) This is the best pizza I've had in a very long time. The quality of pizza (dough, sauce, ingredients, cheese) is excellent---tastes like the pizzas I've had in Italy. The wood fired oven (imported from Italy, I believe) bakes the pizzas quickly and wonderfully, adding a delicious flavor to them. (The Vesuvius pizza was our favorite.) As well, the staff are friendly, attentive, and efficient, making our dining experience a great one. read more

If you enjoy artisan style, wood-fired pizza...save yourself the decision making process. Just go here...don't consider anything else. Spectacular. read more

We ate here last night based on the glowing Yelp reviews. I'm sorry to say that the pizza just did not live up to expectations, although it was good. I ordered an 8" Margherita with artichokes which was OK, and my husband ordered a Southwest specialty. His was also OK - but neither of us was overwhelmed. The ingredients were fresh, but that was expected. We felt that the price was on the high side for the experience. read more

After a great week of camping in Durango we decided on a trip to downtown. The family voted on pizza and we could not have been more pleased with our choice in Fired Up. The crust on the pizza was heavenly and the meal was just what we were hoping for. Mouthwatering pizza in a casual, friendly environment. We had hoped for leftovers to take back to the campsite, but no such luck! By popular demand on our way out towards home, we stopped once again for the lunch special. This is a definite stop while in Durango, don't skip it! read more

We were on the back patio, enjoyed a nice rain shower and stayed dry! Quick, friendly service. Kids cheese pizza was good. Adults shared a fennel sausage and mushroom pizza. Again, great service. read more
