Service was decent, food was ehhhh for the $$$. Husband had a chicken pesto sandwich that read like it would be delicious- chicken was dry and hard. Kid and I both had pizza. $30 for a 12 inch meat pizza and $18 for my pepperoni. Nothing special about the pizzas. Now.... We had a smoked mozzarella and chilies cheese dip that was amazing! That saved the meal.

August 24, 2024. Saturday. Lunch. Visited here on the advice of one of my wife's friends. We decided to sit outside as it was a lovely day in Durango. Molly, our server, attentively refilled our water and brought our cocktails out before the pizza. I ordered a Durango Smash cocktail ($13). This featured anejo tequila, agave nectar, fresh lemon juice and topped with Grand Mariner. It had a sour finish and I liked it on a warm day. Very refreshing. The pizza was called the Fired Up ($22.75). This came with roasted red bell peppers, fennel sausage, mushrooms and a margherita base. As they were making the pizza I walked to the back bathroom. The kitchen folks aren't wearing hair nets or beard masks. They seemed a little "loose" with the hygiene back there. This came into play when I ate my pizza. The pizza came with large expanses of no toppings at all, just sauce. The last slice of pizza had a long brown hair baked into it. Neither my wife nor I have long brown hair! This made me sick to my stomach as I had previously removed a small hair from another slice I thought was my own. I told Molly and she comped that pizza, but damage was already done. We will not be returning to this establishment.

Wonderful outdoor patio, delicious pizza, appetizers and drinks were delicious. Our service was okay - it was the 4th of July so we knew it would be busy. We weren't checked on very often. They are dog friendly, but on the patio only we had to walk up to the podium twice in 30 minutes to check on an available table since we saw one open for quite some time and they were like, "oh you can take that one!" But they wouldn't have sat us if we didn't ask, so that was strange even though we were on the waitlist/with a dog. But this was by far the best meal we had all weekend! The pizza is incredible - worth the wait!

Delicious pizza! Pretty pricey but the pizza size is decent. Service was friendly and the kids loved their pizza also

    Overpriced build your own pizza.

The kids pizzas were great. We ordered a 12 inch build your own pizza that cost $15 for the basic charge , but with the skimpy extras it ended up costing like $55! Huh? $4.50 for a few separate leaves of artichoke hearts. $3.50 for a few pieces of chopped garlic, etc. for other add ons. it was way to expensive. I did not want you to put up a fuss. I just paid and left when we were done.

The food was incredible, the service was spectacular, and the ambiance was gorgeous. There are flowering trees with lights on them inside (fake in case you have allergies). The drink menu is updated regularly, with seasonal offerings. I highly recommend Fired Up!

The wait for a table was a bit longer than I expected, but once I sat down, the food more than made up for it. I started with the Baked Meatball Grinder as an appetizer. The meatball itself was tender and flavorful, but the baguette was on the tougher side, which made it a little hard to bite into. Still, the taste of the meatball carried the dish. For my main course, I ordered the Bolognese with Salmon as my protein, and this ended up being the highlight of the meal. The pasta was cooked just right, the salmon was perfectly prepared, and the wagyu beef sauce tied everything together beautifully. Honestly, if I was not so full, I could have easily gone for another plate. Overall, this place is a good choice in Durango if you are in the mood for hearty Italian comfort food. I will definitely be back the next time I am in town.

The previous owner has retired and the new owner has not missed a beat and has taken the great spot to the next level. Awesome Rye Boulevardier and Hamachi Crudo at the bar night one - great service from Tony; Back at the bar the next night and had their amazing and tender Calamari, NY Strip, Truffled Potatoes and Sautéed Mushrooms + Onions. All top notch and the steak was perfectly cooked. Once again, great service, this time by Justin! What goes better with a steak than Pio Cesare Barolo (not on the list....yet!) Very nice atmosphere and vibe; elegant yet casual. Love it!

Apparently, due to the slower evenings earlier in the summer, they packed up early. Makes sense. Next night (Friday) we arrived around 6 PM, sans-RSVP, and were quickly seated in one of the front window tables. Started off with the tomato bisque soup with wood-fired crostini for dipping ($8). The flavor of the crostini from the wood was sooo good. Can I have a 1/2 lb bag of those to go? For my entree, I had the Chilean Sea Bass special ($60) which was topped with a creamy spinachesque sauce and featured sides of carrots-squash medley and what I can only describe as a fancy potatoes au gratin with two more crostinis to lap up the delicousness. Drink: Pint of Pilsner Urquell ($7). Shout out to our server *Roxy* who is a rock star in dealing with the rare scumbag of Durango who purposely blew a massive cloud of vape smoke at a couple dining outside while she was checking on them, only to come back and spit on her when she told Señor Asshat to knock it off. Way to go, Roxy! Monster meal, unexpected entertainment. Massive hit: Seasons of Durango!
