Natalie made our bottomless brunch experience at Fire Works Pizza absolutely fantastic! She was attentive, upbeat, and kept the drinks flowing without us ever having to ask. She checked in often, made great menu suggestions, and created such a fun, welcoming atmosphere for our table. The food and brunch specials were great, but Natalie's service really stood out and made the whole experience even better. We'll definitely be coming back for brunch again!

Where is the sauce?! Pizza is so dry..

Their pizza box says, "It's love in a box" and I must disagree. My husband placed an order for pick up this evening and this is the driest pizza I EVER had. I think the pizza was estimated to be ready in 20 min but it was ready in 10, so it was sitting for 10 minutes until he arrived. I've ordered lots of pizza and have let it sit for 10 minutes and it never was dry like this. I LOVE wood fired pizza but this pizza lacks tomato sauce and the chicken they use is so thinly sliced so when placed in a wood fired oven, it's dry as the Sahara desert. PLEASE add more sauce to your pizzas and change the chicken you use. I gave two stars because of how quick the service was. #Thatsit

I got there after my flight into DC on a Monday evening since it was around the corner from my hotel. I was sat in a booth near the bar. It was nice to watch the wood fire grill burning and people watch. I ordered the happy hour cheesy bread and a glass of wine. The menu was huge so it took some time to look at it, though I still landed on a pizza with onions, pepperoni, olives, and red pepper flakes. It came out first and then my cheesy bread came out (I almost thought they forgot it). So I was a little disappointed by that, especially since the 10" pizza was so large that I regretted getting the cheesy bread. The food was hot and tasty and the server was great. Just be aware about the portion sizes and pacing of your food order!

I was on a business trip and Fireworks was near my hotel. It was a basic bar and grill style restaurant with plenty of seating in the bar area. I didn't really feel like having pizza so I ordered a Cobb salad but the Cajun pasta also looked good They were both above average for a typical bar and grill. Cobb salad had all the right ingredients, the lettuce was crisp and fresh and the chicken was well cooked and hot -- I hate it when the grilled chicken is lukewarm or even cold and you can't tell if it was just cooked or a week old. The Cajun pasta was also well above average for a bar and grill. Seasoning was just right -- I but of a kick but not overwhelming. There was chicken, shrimp, and sausage in good amounts and the shrimp was not overcooked as it sometimes is when you mix it in with other proteins. Service was good and friendly. (The picture of the pizza is from the lunch the following day - it was good too)

I've recently had some really good beers at Fire works, most notably are the oatmeal raisin cookie porter, the old busthead west coast ipa, mustang sally amber ale, the canned IPA pictured below. The tap list which is like 30 local craft beers is fire here. The pizzas including black sheep et al. Are very good too. The THS wings are excellent as well! Service is always good and the vibe is super chill and friendly! Will be back soon!

Lunch special: mini-pizza (Gorgonzola for me!) and side caesar salad.

I live in DC but sometimes go to the movies in the Court House section of Arlington, which gave me the chance to discover Fireworks Pizza. Now I go every time I go to the movies. They're incredibly welcoming, always making me feel they appreciate my visit. They have gorgonzola cheese for the pizzas, which is hard to find around here! They are accommodating in terms of changes to the menu, which is always great. They have weekly trivia nights -- fun! Finally, they offer a wonderful $11.95 lunch special. I love the mini-pizza (perfect for a pre-movie lunch) and salad. I'm very happy I discovered Fireworks!

A friend and I came here for lunch on a Friday. It was easy to get a seat at the bar. We had the Dynamite Shrimp, Brussels sprouts, sliders, and bacon fat fries. It was all very good. Portions were large- there was more than we could eat. They also had a delicious mango cocktail. It has a nice neighborhood vibe to it. Could see making it a regular stop if I lived closer.

Place is great, THS Wings and Sweet Heat are the move here. My friend Benji put me onto this place and I'd recommend everyone else as well. I've got to try other stuff like the desserts but haven't because I always show up later in the night when they're about to close to just pizzas. We've had Cameron as our Bartender most time(s) and had Rose and Devin a few occasions. 10/10 would recommend.

I would suggest incorporating drinks into the brunch somehow.
    Kim N.

We came for the brunch from seeing an advertisement from TikTok. Rose, our server explained the stipulations of brunch ($33 endless food, drinks not included) and took our orders. Her energy was off, as if she didn't want to serve us. Food was good at the beginning of brunch, some dishes better than others. As the brunch continued, the quality began to diminish of the food & our server would rush us to order & insist it be all at once. The time we went it was not too crowded, and a mix of families, couples, and groups.

Not sure, because they botched our order of ONE pizza
    Cyrus A.

Fire Works, how the slightly above average have fallen. This place is now decidedly below mediocre, with average food and just plain bad service. If you like waiting long for a botched order and plain pizza, this is your spot. The food can only be described as average. The pizza was oily, and the crust was soggy/floppy, it looked soaked even from the first slice off the plate. Service is incredibly haphazard, we saw a table of four get seated, order, and get their appetizers before we were asked to order our drinks. How is that a reasonable way to run a restaurant? Until this place figures out its operations and tightens up its kitchen, it's definitely skippable given how many other options there are nearby. No fireworks here, just shooting blanks.

Good service but mediocre food. Drinks were pretty good. Came for brunch and tried a bit of everything on the menu. The pizza, which I was looking forward to, left much to be desired.

Lots of standing room, limited seating, but the patrons are young, beautiful, and mostly college students from nearby schools. Not my crowd, but met one of my friends here after work in Arlington around 6:30 since the weather was perfect yesterday. We decided to go to my favorite restaurant for a more elevated experience and live music. One day, I'll come back to watch people ride the bull downstairs, which I imagine that to be hilarious and entertaining. The bartender told me the place doesn't come alive until about 9pm, so that's when it's crowded and probably off the chain.

I went for the first time back in October and I had a good time. The drinks were competitively price for Arlington proportions but the food AND cocktail menu are just painfully limited. If you're ordering just standard bar drinks like a domestic draft beer or a shot of tequila you're fine, but a grilled cheese sandwich on the menu? Seriously? The biggest attraction of this bar is the mechanical bull. But the caveat is that you need to get a ticket to ride it which costs $5. Not terrible pricing but considering PBR at Power Plant Live in Baltimore has a mechanical bull (and more space but will get to that in a bit) it feels like a slap in the face. But again it's $5 and I'm going to presume that money goes towards maintenance of the mechanical bull ride anyway. Also depending on what day and time you go be prepared to be packed like sardines. There's three rooms one of which is a dedicated dance floor. And the room farthest from the entrance, about 85% of the room is taken up by the mechanical bull. The first time I went there was no room in the mechanical bull room because they blocked off 5% of it for some group party reservation. We went up to the rooftop which was a bit more spacious but naturally if it's cold outside or raining you're obviously not going up there. Overall, BOE has potential but a limited food menu, and even more limited cocktail menu, and small indoor space makes this an easy bar to skip when there's a line out the door.

Could not ask for a better parking situation. Ordering was almost seamless. We got there at 1 o'clock, middle of the day on 4/18, plenty of empty tables. We went up to the bartender to take our order, and then gave them our table number and they delivered it. The QR code on the table only shows you the menu. It is not used for ordering, which was odd these days. Chill and super awesome bartender with the mother of all hickeys. Good pours. No Skrewball :-( I had the special, two hot dogs with tater tots. When it said double, I wasn't sure if that meant double the tater tots, but that meant actually two hot dogs. Really good. I also had the other special, the two pancakes. I meant to get the sausage, but they gave me the bacon instead. It was great. Well worth it. I thought that was the better value of the meals. They got a lot of board and card games. Very laid-back atmosphere, 90s and early 2000s pop on the music, comfortable seating, and good food. The prices were reasonable. This is one area that I think we are just going to have to deal with for quite some time. The give-and-take of prices,. Smothered tater tots, pancakes, two hotdogs with some tater tots, and three drinks came out to ~$55. NOT. BAD. Was it worth it? If this had been just a normal restaurant, I would've said no. It would've been more worth it if it had been about $40. But... nobody made us pay to use the board games, or the card games, and we sat there for three hours and had a really good time. So based on that, the fact they provide a venue for playing these games and hanging out for a few hours makes it all worth it. Really strange thing was that there was this balding guy with a beard that randomly showed up as a waiter. We had been dealing with a bartender, so this guy, kind of rude came on to us and we weren't sure what to do with him. He kind of blocked me from paying the bartender. Rude. Not a hangout spot every day, but certainly once a week, maybe once a month or more, definitely a place to meet up if you got a group. I was really surprised by the diversity of the people that were there. A lot of chess players, a whole table of middle-aged women, lots of different people playing games. I would give them five stars, but not quite perfect. The rude guy at the end was so odd. Otherwise, great location, great parking, the food was good, good value, and fun.

At first, you'll see what looks like just a pizza shop -- but if you head in and either use the side door or walk through and climb a set of stairs, you'll find the speakeasy upstairs. Very cool vibe: dark, cozy, and date-night ready. Drinks: 4/5 I ordered their take on an Old Fashioned, and it was definitely the highlight of the night but sweeter than I would have liked. They served it over a stamped solid block of ice (a small detail I ). My friend was abstaining from alcohol that night and asked for a non-alcoholic cocktail. To our surprise, they didn't just hand her a lemonade like most places -- they actually made her a crafted virgin drink, which she loved. Food: 3/5 We ordered fries and a slice of pepperoni pizza. The fries turned out to be waffle fries (not mentioned on the menu) and were overly crispy, so not really our favorite. The pizza was fine -- clearly sourced from the shop downstairs -- but it leaned oily and didn't really wow us. Service: 5/5 Pretty standard -- nothing over the top, but not neglectful either. Drinks came out reasonably fast, food followed, and we were checked on enough without it feeling pushy. Vibes: 4/5 The speakeasy itself is definitely the selling point. Dark, intimate, and stylish -- you feel like you've found a little hidden spot. All in all, the cocktails are the reason to come, especially if you're into whiskey. The food was forgettable, but it's convenient that you can order pizza upstairs. We spent about $30-40 for drinks and snacks, which isn't shocking for Old Town. Would I go back? Maybe if I was already in the area, but for a dedicated whiskey night, I'd probably head somewhere else.
