Delicious food and drinks, never a wait, always able to sit outside and kids can run around the courtyard. A local treasure!

We enjoyed an excellent pizza and amazing dessert of cookie and ice cream. Rob was a wonderful waiter. Great service and food.

The Serivce absolutely sucks!! I went back each night for 4 nights strait sat the bar to enjoy some drinks, the BartEnders are in their phones constantly and are not the most greeting of sort. guess that can be I am from Midwest and we are just nice. But with that said the food is absou deliciou!! pizza Amazing!! and their Lamb balls stuffed with coat cheese so delicious!! Stopped in for a quick takeout order of their 10" Fire Works pizza. Hostess was very helpful and patient with this first-timer. Not a lot of sit down customers at 12:30 in the afternoon but there were quite a few takeout and pickup orders going out the door while I waited. The hostess told me it would be a 10 minute wait for my order and offered me water and a seat at the bar. I chose to sit in the foyer and watch the people while I drafted this review. Wood fired pizza is a valued preference for pizza in my book so, I am excited what my 10" pizza will look like. It's 84 degrees outside with lots of shade so I will sit outside. The pizza came with nicely balanced with green peppers, onion slivers, sausage and pepperoni. The cheese was very good and the spices were a nice surprise. I would get this one again. It appears to be their signature pizza. read more

This is my second time at Fire Works and they never disappoint. As a non pizza lover, their pies are unique but all extremely tasty. I love the build your own for both the pasta and pizza options. It's pretty casual inside but spacious and a great outdoor area. Our waiter was super attentive and knew a lot about the menu. read more

Last minute pick near our hotel. Looking for pasta and a good vibe. This checked all the boxes. One note, the main kitchen closes before the pizza kitchen, so keep that in mind if you're showing up late. read more

Our school trip of ~180 people split in half and had dinner at Fire Works Pizza two consecutive nights. The restaurant had a section blocked off for us and was ready with a buffet of salad, soup, pastas, & pizzas. For dessert, we also had cookies and brownies. The meal was a big hit with the kids. The pastas included Spaghetti in meat sauce, Macaroni & Cheese, and Chicken Penne. We had a few salads, 2 soups, and Cheese, Pepperoni, & Sausage pizzas. Well done, Fire Works Pizza! read more

Very nice that Fire Works expanded their wings into the Arlington area. This spot has been in the Courtyard parts of Arlington for a while and locals are lucky it's here. Beer and pizza, their specialties! Plenty of local brews and domestics on tap. The Right Proper Raised by Wolves pale ale is what pale ale dreams are made of with the right flavors and hops mixed in. Very easy to drink and sip with pizza. Speaking of pizza, there are over a dozen types of pies to choose from or you can build your own. Each pie has distinct flavor profiles or course. The Good for the Seoul is unique with the beef bulgogi and spiciness topping; very adventurous for pizza lovers. The sweet heat pizza combines sweetness of honey with jalapeno flavors. Those are what I would recommend. As for appetizers, the bacon fat fries are gluten free and a must order if you love fries. The tempura brussels sprouts are tasty although heavier than I thought they would be due to the tempura coating. Next time I might ask if they can do it w/o the tempura. Service is attentive and bartenders are knowledgeable of the menu. Place is also clean with plenty of seating at the bar area. Perfect of dates or with large parties. Look forward to returning! read more

The pizza was alright, we had the luau pizza. We ordered the large and it was actually probably a small. The beer options are pretty good, only wish they had more local brews. Service was bad for a Sunday, but they can't help that there are kids that are visiting DC for their field trip, there was two schools there. The place was like a chukie cheese rather a pizza joint. read more

Their pizza box says, "It's love in a box" and I must disagree. My husband placed an order for pick up this evening and this is the driest pizza I EVER had. I think the pizza was estimated to be ready in 20 min but it was ready in 10, so it was sitting for 10 minutes until he arrived. I've ordered lots of pizza and have let it sit for 10 minutes and it never was dry like this. I LOVE wood fired pizza but this pizza lacks tomato sauce and the chicken they use is so thinly sliced so when placed in a wood fired oven, it's dry as the Sahara desert. PLEASE add more sauce to your pizzas and change the chicken you use. I gave two stars because of how quick the service was. #Thatsit read more

I got there after my flight into DC on a Monday evening since it was around the corner from my hotel. I was sat in a booth near the bar. It was nice to watch the wood fire grill burning and people watch. I ordered the happy hour cheesy bread and a glass of wine. The menu was huge so it took some time to look at it, though I still landed on a pizza with onions, pepperoni, olives, and red pepper flakes. It came out first and then my cheesy bread came out (I almost thought they forgot it). So I was a little disappointed by that, especially since the 10" pizza was so large that I regretted getting the cheesy bread. The food was hot and tasty and the server was great. I was on a business trip and Fireworks was near my hotel. It was a basic bar and grill style restaurant with plenty of seating in the bar area. I didn't really feel like having pizza so I ordered a Cobb salad but the Cajun pasta also looked good They were both above average for a typical bar and grill. Cobb salad had all the right ingredients, the lettuce was crisp and fresh and the chicken was well cooked and hot -- I hate it when the grilled chicken is lukewarm or even cold and you can't tell if it was just cooked or a week old. The Cajun pasta was also well above average for a bar and grill. Seasoning was just right -- I but of a kick but not overwhelming. There was chicken, shrimp, and sausage in good amounts and the shrimp was not overcooked as it sometimes is when you mix it in with other proteins. Service was good and friendly. (The picture of the pizza is from the lunch the following day - it was good too) read more

Had a the works pizza and wings with a friend. Service was nice and friendly food was solid. Wings had good flavor and were well balanced. The pizza the works had onions ground beef, peppers, cheese, and tomato sauce. It had good crunch and was well cooked the ingredients tasted fresh. It has a nice bar where you can watch a game and a big wood fired pizza grill. Overall what drew it down for me was that they were out of a few items we asked for. read more

I've recently had some really good beers at Fire works, most notably are the oatmeal raisin cookie porter, the old busthead west coast ipa, mustang sally amber ale, the canned IPA pictured below. The tap list which is like 30 local craft beers is fire here. The pizzas including black sheep et al. Are very good too. The THS wings are excellent as well! Went here on a week night during a horrid thunderstorm and had our dog with us so we sat on the patio. It was nice because it is covered and has plastic "walls" so it kept the rain out, more or less as some tables were wet but then the storm was bad so understandable. The service was excellent, very attentive. The drinks were okay, had the new raspberry margarita and it was a bit too sweet for my taste. The glass of wine was good and the regular margarita was better. I had a house salad with grilled chicken and it was excellent. The chicken breast was a very good size and grilled perfectly. We also had pesto pasta with chicken that was excellent and two pizzas that they enjoyed. Overall a great experience and I would recommend giving it a try. read more

This restaurant was amazing. Emely was an amazing server and we got a wonderful deal for brunch.

A friend and I came here for lunch on a Friday. It was easy to get a seat at the bar. We had the Dynamite Shrimp, Brussels sprouts, sliders, and bacon fat fries. It was all very good. Portions were large- there was more than we could eat. They also had a delicious mango cocktail. It has a nice neighborhood vibe to it. Could see making it a regular stop if I lived closer. read more

Place is great, THS Wings and Sweet Heat are the move here. My friend Benji put me onto this place and I'd recommend everyone else as well. Fire Works, how the slightly above average have fallen. This place is now decidedly below mediocre, with average food and just plain bad service. If you like waiting long for a botched order and plain pizza, this is your spot. The food can only be described as average. The pizza was oily, and the crust was soggy/floppy, it looked soaked even from the first slice off the plate. Service is incredibly haphazard, we saw a table of four get seated, order, and get their appetizers before we were asked to order our drinks. How is that a reasonable way to run a restaurant? Until this place figures out its operations and tightens up its kitchen, it's definitely skippable given how many other options there are nearby. No fireworks here, just shooting blanks. read more

I live in DC but sometimes go to the movies in the Court House section of Arlington, which gave me the chance to discover Fireworks Pizza. Now I go every time I go to the movies. They're incredibly welcoming, always making me feel they appreciate my visit. They have gorgonzola cheese for the pizzas, which is hard to find around here! They are accommodating in terms of changes to the menu, which is always great. They have weekly trivia nights -- fun! Finally, they offer a wonderful $11.95 lunch special. I love the mini-pizza (perfect for a pre-movie lunch) and salad. I'm very happy I discovered Fireworks! read more

First time experiencing their bottomless brunch and it's a great deal, $30 for various brunch options, snacks, and salad, plus $1-$4 drinks are a steal. My table tried pretty much everything on the bottomless brunch menu. The items we really liked: sweet chili Thai wings, T.H.S wings, avocado toast, lox pizza, breakfast mini pizza, yogurt parfait, fried chicken biscuit (not spicy at all and you have to like pimento cheese which I do so it was great), Cobb salad, brussel sprouts, Mac and cheese (interesting it doesn't taste like cheese you more or so taste the pancetta), and beignets (the strawberry sauce was really good). A few debatable items: The garlic parm wings were ordered twice and came out with less sauce the first time and more sauce the second but the table still liked both. The French toast was tasty for some with the Nutella but not crispy enough for others. The grits (we added cheese) started out a little more loose in texture at first because it was still baking in the pan they brought out but as it sat the texture was good and the flavor was good as well, just needed a little salt The service was great, our waitress was pretty on top of things, bathroom was clean and the physical space was cool, we didn't feel like we were on top of any other table. We will definitely be back, great experience read more

Here for bottomless brunch on a Sunday .They want to charge everyone in your party for bottomless (even if they don't want it). They were very slow bringing my items , but the table behind us they kept bringing their items back to back?? Several items didn't arrive as described (said 2 eggs, I got 1, one item said it came with crispy potatoes , i got none). Some items were very tasty - shrimp and grits, mac n cheese, others were mid to meh - sweet potato pancake, breakfast burrito. The dollar mimosas added to the bottomless price of 33 bucks per person, wasn't bad and they were good. read more

We came for the brunch from seeing an advertisement from TikTok. Rose, our server explained the stipulations of brunch ($33 endless food, drinks not included) and took our orders. Her energy was off, as if she didn't want to serve us. Food was good at the beginning of brunch, some dishes better than others. As the brunch continued, the quality began to diminish of the food & our server would rush us to order & insist it be all at once. The time we went it was not too crowded, and a mix of families, couples, and groups. read more

Both the pizza and service here are very average in quality - not bad but not particularly good. I ordered The Fire "Works" pizza, which had sausage, pepperoni, onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms. I thought the meat could've been a bit more flavorful and the cheese could've been more plentiful. Also, the crust-to-toppings ratio was a bit high, although the crust was actually softer than it looked. It was $14 for a 10 inch pizza (big enough to comfortably feed one person), which was a decent deal. When we first arrived, there was strangely no one there to greet / seat us, so we just had to wait there awkwardly until we finally got someone's attention. Then, they made it seem like the only outdoor table available was one all the way on the outside end, when it looked like they could've easily just pulled an extra chair or two over to one of the closer emptier tables. The problem with sitting on the outside end was that there was very little light, since the overhead lighting was only in the outdoor area close to the door to the restaurant. Apart from that though, the outdoor area as well as the indoor area are fairly nice with plenty of seating available. Our waiter was average friendliness and the service speed was decent. Overall, I would recommend Fire Works Pizza if you happen to be in the area and are craving pizza, although I would not go out of your way just to come here. read more

Mixed feelings. Service is slow, I attribute that to apparent inexperience. The toppings were top notch! Great quality. The dough/crust a true disappointment for a place that specializes in pizza. No salt. Limp/soggy. The only flavor we could detect from the crust was raw flower. If they can get their crust issue fixed I would say that the price is appropriate. Oh! That Malibu Dream drink was amazing! read more

Went to fireworks for a work event with a large party. Service was a little slow and we were not informed that there were lunch combos as an option. This is very disappointing as I specifically asked for a small pizza and a small (personal) and ask if there was a small side salad. This would have been the perfect time to mention the lunch combos. It ended up costing me more than $30 when a 6 inch pizza and small side salad. Lunch combo would only have been $11. The salad was overdressed, so I didn't eat much of it and the pizza was just OK for me. Of note, if you go with a large group, they will automatically add gratuity. read more

Great for a group dinner, they accommodated our pretty large group of 13-14 people. The server was exceptionally patient and friendly. Awesome beer list, lots on tap and bottle including cider. The food was pretty good, the side salad was fresh and I think the ranch dressing was homemade which was a bonus. The pizza was pretty good, I'm admittedly a crust snob (Neapolitan all the way for me) but aside from that this pizza was good and we had no complaints on anything. Large bar area and decent street parking. Prices pretty good too. read more

We came here with our tour group so the food review is based on a buffet style their served us instead of a regular ordering process when you come on your own. They had a fairly large spread for us. There was salad, a few pastas including Mac and cheese, and a variety of pizzas. - salad: standard tasting salad - pastas: alright - pizzas: good standard toppings, but the crust was not as crisp as I was hoping it would be. The front of the pizza was a bit soggy so I had to tear that part off just to eat the parts near the end as the crust was much better. - dessert: tiramisu was fantastic. One of the better ones I have had I wanted to love this place and I am thinking I may if we weee just here on our own and ordered ourselves. We will try this place again if we are in the area. read more
