This is an update to an earlier experience at Andy's Ballston. Although I received a cold and not-so-good pizza previously, manager did proactively reach out to me to make good on this situation. To be fair, I point out that next pizza was excellent. Andy's has the very best authentic New York style pizza in Arlington. Pizza is fresh and hot, service is reliable. Always busy. You won't find a better pizza in this area. read more

Andy's Pizza in Ballston is quickly becoming our favorite spot in Virginia for authentic New York-style pizza! The quality is consistently excellent, and the pizza genuinely reminds me of being in New York. In fact, someone visiting us from New York tried it and absolutely loved it, which says a lot! We typically order online and pick up, and the entire experience has always been seamless. The online ordering process is easy, the pizza is ready on time, and our orders are always accurate. The staff are friendly and attentive when we arrive, and they're also very responsive whenever we call. The portions are incredibly generous! Their large pizza is huge, with slices that remind you of a classic New York pizzeria. One large pizza can easily feed four people if everyone has about two slices. We also tried their Brussels sprouts, and they were really good! They're a great addition to the pizza order. Between the authentic New York-style pizza, consistent quality, generous portions, and dependable customer service, Andy's Pizza has become one of our go-to places. Highly recommended for anyone craving a great New York slice in Northern Virginia! read more

Great for grab and go! While I'm working in the community, it's a quick spot to get a slice or two, and get moving! Their combo deal is where it's at. Only thing is definitely not a fan of eating their pizza cold - or for leftovers. Best to have it fresh on the spot. Quick service & Ballston location is pretty welcoming, with a super chill atmosphere. read more

Solid pizza, with a good selection of slices to order or a whole pie like we did. Service could've been better. It was a longer wait than anticipated for the pizza, and the table wasn't cleaned prior to us sitting down. So had to wipe that off before eating. Ive been to their other location and enjoy both! read more

You can never have enough pizza joints in the Arlington area. Andy's has arrived and it's left quite a foot print here. One of several locations in the DMV area, Andy's does NY style pizza by the slice and whole pies. I've made a few late night runs here whenever I'm in the Ballston/VA Square area as they are open until midnight and sometimes later depending on the circumstances. There's a variety of slices here such as the buffalo chicken, chicken pesto, pepperoni/sausage, veggie, supreme, truffle mushroom, etc. I usually pair a slice with a beer; several local brews are available here. Hard to beat a slice and a pint/can; especially after a late night of rowdiness. Solid pizza that's available in a pinch. read more

This review is long overdue. While visiting some residents of Ballston Place Apartments on my way out, I stumbled on a door that landed me smack dab into Andy's Pizza. Man oh man, can you imagine living in a building connected to a pizza joint?!?!? Houston that would be a big problem!lol The place was packed and the music was jumping. It was a Wednesday where I believe it was either half priced or discounted bottles of wine with your pizza where an employee Joe was offering wine samples upon entry. Then there was Steve the manager offering recommendations to a lost & confused soon to be patron. Depending on the day I love me a "pie" with the works or I can do a straight veggie. In comes the Mushroom & Onion Pie.... The caramelized onions and roasted mushrooms made me forget all the other toppings. It was piping hot, extremely cheesy and straight up awesome! You can get pizza by slice or the whole darn pie which was what all the other customers were purchasing. Now the whole pie is a little pricey at $25-$30 for 8 slices but it's well worth it and good to know you can get a single slice. read more

This is the pizza that is made of dreams... The pizza that is made of dreams The pizza thats makes me want to scream The pizza that has good quality cheese The pizza with the best sauce indeed Okay I need to stop One silent night, my stomach was growling and like a filthy animal I was hungry for pizza. I took this as an excuse to try Andy's as some people claim that it is "the best" and that's always subjective. This pizza is really great. I don't know about the best but pizza doesn't get better than this in the DMV. I got a slice of Margarita, the mushroom and onion and the buffalo chicken. Each and every one of them was wonderful. 4.8/5 stop everything and get some Andy's read more

Food was amazing - the hot honey is a must. The environment is very welcoming. Whenever I am in Arlington I always stop by to get a piece!

Love these guys! Michelle and BB are superstars, glad to finally put a face to the superstars packing our orders perfectly since the Ballston location opened. And the pizza is one of the best in the area. Crust is not doughy, thin yet soft. Location is spacious and clean, good music. Mushroom, Pepperoni, Sausage, Margherita, and Burrata are on our regular rotation. read more

I have given this location multiple tries, but each time the experience is worse. Not only is their pizza soupy, full of oil, and has the thinnest layer of dough in the bottom imaginable (which is soft and soggy), but they continually get to go orders wrong when you go in and order at the counter. Really not sure how hard it is to type in an order into their system, but apparently what's even harder is getting the ticket order made correctly. I ordered a half cheese half pepperoni & sausage. Cashier verbally confirmed with me. I wait the 10 mins, to receive a reheated pizza, with a ticket stating "half pepperoni, half sausage" (incorrect) but the pizza itself didn't even follow that ticket order (I was given full pepperoni full sausage) proving that they absolutely just re heat old pizza and pass it off as fresh. Wish I checked the box before leaving but it was sealed and I assumed even if the pizza was shit, the order was right. Silly me. read more

Definitely my favorite pizza chain in the DMV. Although I miss my NY pizza, this place makes me feel at home. I do wish their cheese slice was a bit cheaper but I can't complain. I also wish they used the Too Good To Go app because I've noticed they have a ton of leftover pizza at the end of the night, which I would be happy to pay for rather than have it all get thrown away. Still, my favorite spot! read more

Usually love Andy's but they sold me a cold full pizza that had definitely been sitting a while. I live 5 mins away and picked up the pizza at the exact time I was given. Didn't realize it til I got back home but should have known when the box wasn't warm at all. Check your pizza read more

First time here and it was so good! You order from the front and you can see what types of pizzas they have and also the costs of the slices and there are great combo prices. The pizzas are good. The staff is friendly and help you order what you'd like. There is alot of seating inside for small or larger parties. The interior is nicely decorated and there are also patio seatings. Would come back here again when I'm in the area. read more

Came here for their first two opening nights and was surprised to see they were up and running like they had been open for years! I had never had Andy's pizza before and I was amazed with how good it is! You can come in and grab a few slices to go or eat there, or you can order a full pizza. We've tried the pepperoni/sausage, buffalo chicken and white pizza. All were very good, my favorites being the buffalo chicken and white pizza. The dough is perfect. They sell drink mixers, beer and wine. They are open until 2am! read more

Andy's Pizza is dangerously close to where I live and opened less than a week ago. My friend and I were walking back from grocery shopping in Clarendon when suddenly, our feet dragged us towards the pizza parlor. Next thing we knew, we entered in the double doors and were inside. At that point, we kind of have to buy a slice, right? MARGHERITA SLICE - 4.50 +BURRATA The margherita slice really hit the spot this past Tuesday. The sauce was sweet and flavorful, and there was a legit cheese pull. The burrata was creamy and fresh; its cold temperature contrasted well with the freshly heated up slice that was warm and toasty. Each slice is pretty big, and it makes a great snack at any point of the day (given that they have relatively late hours). The staff is nice and they accidentally heated up an extra slice which I was happy to take. The parlor is spacious with plenty of seating and high-top standing tables. This is a great addition to the neighborhood. read more

NEW LATE NIGHT LOCATION IN BALLSTON! * Price: I spent $17.60 (tip included) for 2 slices and a cup of strawberry lemonade. Do I think it's pricey...kind of. A whole pizza is around $25, and they also have different starters and appetizers ranging on average from $6-$12. Check for combo and drink deals. * Food: I got a strawberry lemonade and it was really refreshing with a good amount of sweetness--LOTS of ice though. I tried a white pie pizza (roasted garlic olive oil, mozzarella, provolone, ricotta soprafina) from a whole pizza, a slice of buffalo crispy chicken, and a slice of the carnivor pizza. Would RECOMMEND getting a whole pie AT LEAST once because it just tastes SO much better! Ask for the HOT HONEY! * Cleanliness/Setting: Good amount of seating, clean, and GREAT vibes for lunch or late night. * Service: The cashiers and workers were QUICK and friendly. I was SO HUNGRY after running the Cherry Blossom, so they did an amazing job. read more

My girlfriend lives literal steps away from this location, and I couldn't be more jealous! We usually already have food plans, but if I just want to snack when I'm visiting, this is usually a stop for me. The slices and variety are as good as ever, and I appreciate how Andy's Pizza still promotes the two slice and drink combos. There are several tables for dining in, but I appreciate how you can easily grab some spice or pepper packets if you are ordering to go. It's only been a handful of times, but every time the staff have been efficient and professional. They are usually playing music and showing sports too, and those have contributed to an overall positive experience. Andy's Pizza has been around for a long time, and if you have not had them yet, and you like New York style pizza, do yourself a favor and give them a try. read more

Super friendly guys and fast service. Went on a Sunday afternoon around 1 and it wasn't crowded. Got the 2 slice and Coke combo for approx. $11. Not a bad deal at all, considering the slices are decently sized. The sausage and green bell pepper was super flavorful and crispy. The buffalo chicken had the perfect amount of soft heat with green onion rounding out the buffalo. Decent amount of dining space with a TV. Definitely going back to try the other slices read more

I'm glad that Andy's opened in Arlington. I've been there 3 times in the past week. Each time was a different experience. They just opened so I won't judge too harshly. The pizza is good but has potential to be great. They need to add more cheese and cook it longer. The bottom of the pizza gets soggy way too quickly. The crust on it is phenomenal and it makes up for everything else. I hope they get a bit more consistent but I will be back! read more

One of my friends who used to live in NYC was really excited when she heard there will be an Andy's opening up in VA Square (NY style pizza) and since pizza is one of the things toddler loves decided to give it a try. Ordered a bunch of slices to go: cheese, meat lovers, onion and mushroom one, and margarita. I thought they were pretty good but probably would be a lot better in Person. Definitely need to try it in person next time instead of waiting 15 minutes until we get home with the to go. read more

I have been to several Andy's Pizza and loved them. This location has been the worst one. We order a pie of sausage and pepper and a buffalo chicken slice while we waited. The buffalo chicken slice was amazing and perfectly cooked. The pie smelled great, but when we got home and started eating it, the crust was burnt to hell making the pizza taste bitter and unpleasant. Very sad that 70% of the whole pizza was like this. I wanted to eat good pizza not charcoal. read more

New location of a very popular DVM pizza chain with NY style pies. Speaking as someone with a very refined NY-pizza palate, this is one of my favorite pizza spots in the area They offer both full pies and slices, and have a few pre-made salads as well The space has ample seating Have a ton of La Croix options read more

It's dangerous that this new Andy's location is so close to my place given how much I love Andy's pizza. As I've shared in previous reviews of other locations, I honestly believe that this is the best New York slice. It's thin and just the right amount of crust. The sauce is sweet but not too sweet. Also the service was fast and they were friendly! The interior feels like a sports bar with lots of space and seating. read more

Really good pizza, but why don't you have olives? Please offer olives. And thank you for having jalapeños. That's it.

I came from all the way from San Diego to have this slice! My family hyped this place up and it it lives up to it! Highly recommend it!

I love Andy's and love this new location! There is so much seating compared to some of their other locations. When I went around dinner time, there was a line but they kept the wait times down. They are efficient in how they're serving the pizza (by the slice at least). Slices are about $5-7 and decently sized. I tried their buffalo chicken pizza and the meat lovers and enjoyed both. Andy's serves some of my favorite pizza in the area so I will keep coming back. read more

The lunch special was good. 2 slices and drink for $12. Sauce base is really good, pizza kinda thin. However overall really good.
