The environment- Fire wings is maintaining their care torrents covid safety precautions. They give clients the flexibility to wear a mask or not. This restaurant has a lot of open space and natural light which makes it that much more awesome to be at. I'll definitely find myself here having a beer and some wings and sketching. The service- nothing short of spectacular, the team is quick on orders and the food is out on time. They are helpful to those who are new to the menu and just do a great job. The food- The wings are very delicious, they have a great amount of sauce on them as well as crisp. As for the sides you can go for the season fries, the jalapeno poppers, are even the garlic noodles and you can't go wrong. The peanut butter sauce is actually pretty delicious. It's actually one of the ones I was most skeptical about since I've never had something like it and after that I pretty much get them with every order. First impressions are everything and this place didn't disappoint one bit! We were met at the register by "RICKY" who's the manager but carries himself like the owner. Fire wings is literally fire. Came in here on a rainy Friday and was disappointed to see that they replaced Bruxie. However, that frown turned upside down fairly quickly once we received our food. We ordered the 20 pack with 3 flavor options, a large side, and 2 dipping sauces. It was a little more than $30 total. We tried the Dragon, Garlic Parmesan, and Louisiana flavors. All of them were so good, perfectly crunchy, hot, and flavorful. The Dragon flavor was surprisingly sweet and the name is misleading, I thought it would be spicy. The Garlic Parmesan here blows it out of the park, better than Buffalo Wild Wings and Wing Stop. The tater tots were so crunchy and perfectly salty. So in this plaza, there are 2 restaurants for chicken wings. This one outshines the other by a long shot! Definitely like that it's a pay/order at the counter and then food is brought to you (waiting for a server at the other place can be a pain). They also say its the little things that make the difference? One, if you order a drink, they have self serve soda/tea dispensers. I love the ones that have a mix of drinks, so in case you change your mind and don't want another soda, you can easily opt for something else instead. I did rootbeer first fill and raspberry tea on the 2nd. Lets get to the wings. The flavor options here also what sets them apart. I've never seen Thai Peanut, Peking, Saigon flavors anywhere else. The Saigon one was my favorite (it's basically fish sauce nuoc mam), so good! I can also say they're generous with the celery/carrots. Both were fresh and included with our order (unlike that other place that charges extra for it now). Not much to complain here, food was good, it's pretty much self serve for everything else so can't complain about service. They have several tvs so if there's a game on, this would be a great place to grab food/hang out. We'll definitely be back as this is one of the only places open late in Irvine. read more

I've been coming to this store since it opened, but for the first time I was very disappointed. When I returned to work, and looked at my food order, I was surprised to see that these were the tiniest pieces of wings I've ever seen. Had I known that Fire Wings was selling tiny chicken wings to customers today, I would have passed. I ordered a 10 pc , but what I got was 10 small scraps of wings plus 5 extra smaller pieces to make up for the bigger scraps. Really, this is what Fire Wings is doing now? Later, after work I called and spoke w/Manager Najah about the experience and was offered 5 wings to return or go thru DoorDash for the refund. How convenient is that! And for me to accept the 5 pc Wing Comp would be crazy 'at this time' just to get more scrappy baby wings. No thanks! Fire Wings you need to get your Supplier right. Time has to pass before I give your restaurant another try. You should at least have the courtesy to notify your customers in advance of the shortage of wings your restaurant is facing and give them the option of whether or not to make the purchase. The sauces are good, not too spicy for their "hot" items, and my only criticism is the sandwiches get a bit over sauced. Sides are good and they have the Coke flavor machine which is great. We've noticed a significant change in their quality and portion size these past few times we've went. We ordered the garlic noodles (no cheese) like we always do and this time they completely forgot the garlic so the dish was just a pack of cold, overcooked and unseasoned noodles. Fortunately this was not a big deal as we threw the noodles on a pan and just added in our own garlic. Their buffalo tender fries have truly gone down hill. They've switched their fries from crinkle to steak fries which is not an issue except some of our fries were still undercooked (some pieces of chicken were also inedible) and the portion size was pathetic for a large. A large garlic noodles and large buffalo tender fries used to last us for both dinner and breakfast and now it barely gets us a full dinner. All day everyday to Fire Wings. I'm just a sucker for fried chicken. The flavors are good but not all great. I especially enjoy the peanut butter. I was first taken aback as the sound of peanut butter on chicken wings is not appetizing but it's really more of a Thai peanut sauce rather than peanut butter you would find on a PB&J sammy. I frequent the place often for their beer selection and unbeatable prices. I think they have pitchers for $14 which is a deal! I've really liked the wings and zucchini sticks here for a while. They're ordering has always been a little cumbersome and the online system, quirky. A couple weeks ago I got a reward for a free side - thought I'd use it but the online system was down. Try again today, still down. It's 2024, there's no excuse for that. So, I go in and figure I'll order in person and get my free side. The high-school girls at the counter offered up some attitude instead.
