I was sure it was my sprinkler valve, but had an issue changing the valve: The pipes were too tight! I texted Don and got my hacksaw, but luckily he texted right back. He was able to squeeze in a quick visit before the weekend, and found that the water regulator for the entire house was making the pipes shake. My sprinkler valve was just fine. That regulator had given out after 30 years. With that replaced, all problems were solved. He even arranged for a quick stop in on SUNDAY MORNING to make sure we were set.
