When people go above and beyond, they deserve the recognition. In all transparency, True Heating and Cooling had done previous work on our tankless water heater for the past couple years - mainly just a normal maintenance. All good work, but my quibble was follow up on some outstanding issues (mainly with a knocking noise that they didn't seem to get to the bottom of and didn't follow up) which led me to explore other companies - which unfortunately were no where near as detailed or close (actually most further) from a solution and I came them another chance and I'm glad I did. Justin helped work through some more detailed troubleshooting and provided a solid quote (detailed and quick) for solutions in a quick manner. He listened and cared. He was knowledgeable and thorough. While not only getting the issues I had resolved, was also able to resolve other code and safety issues that stemmed from the original install of the boiler. I would highly recommend True to others and will also recommend to other neighbors within my condo complex that have similar setups and might need work. We used their services for a large job wiht the removal of three 26 year old Carrier units and the installation of three Dave Lennox Signature AC and Heat pump systems. Jophery was vey thorough in the assessment of the level of our AC/Heating needs and in giving us the alternatives, costs and available rebate savings for each. Dustin as the lead of the installation team did a great job in both doing the work and managing the project. Daniel, Carlos Esten, Alex, Eli and Juan were impressive as the installation team, as they worked well together to get the job done in an amazingly fast time and with no damage to our home. With the old units we were almost always adjusting the thermostats but now we hardly ever touch them. It was very much worth the cost. A little over 2 years ago True Heating and Cooling installed 2 Minisplits in our home. There crew did an excellent job and where extremely courteous, we have been extremely pleased. Last week we had one of our units ice up and True sent out one of their technicians to see what was going on. Matt spent several hours and had to leave and pick up a part to repair our unit. He got the job done the same day in temperatures in the high 90s ! To our surprise when the bill comes, there was no charge! True did not even charge us for the service call! I first had True Heating come out for regular furnace maintenance last fall based on the good reviews here on Yelp, and I was happy enough with their work. So this summer, when my older AC unit stopped working, I called them again to schedule a repair. The person I talked to on the phone was able to quickly pull up my records and assure me that their technicians don't earn any commission for selling me a new unit, but based on the age of my system, that was a possible outcome. He was able to give me a rough estimate of the cost on the phone (which turned out to be exactly right). The service technician was incredible friendly and able to talk us through what was wrong and what our options are. We quickly decided that a new unit was the way to go. The guy who came out to give an estimate was also incredible knowledgeable and gave us a variety of options with a good explanation of why he recommended the unit he did. Finally the crew that did the install showed up on time and did great work. Overall, we're really happy with our new system, we feel like True Heating was direct and honest with us at every step, and in the ended they did great work that surpassed our already-high expectations. read more

I highly highly highly recommend using True Heating and Cooling if you need to get a system replacement!! Overall they were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and fast at getting us exactly what we needed during their probably busiest season. They truly had all hands on deck, working the weekend and sending folks who don't usually do home visits so we didn't have to be miserable with no AC all week when it was so hot out. Also bonus, I love how they share a short bio, photo, and tracking link of whoever is coming out to the house, this was a small detail that made it an even better experience. I live in a townhome that had a 23 year old AC unit that was original to the house. It died on Thursday evening of last week, and first thing Friday morning I gave True Heating and Cooling a call and they fit me in at 9am to get someone to come out and diagnose our system. They sent Dustin, who is the operations manager and he did an amazing job answering all of my questions and talking me through my options, not trying to sell me anything but being honest about what we might need to do to move forward. We ended up going with a full system replacement (AC to heat pump and new furnace as well), and thanks to Brooke, they were able to expedite an estimator, Jophery, to come that same day. We could not be happier with his professionalism and level of service and intelligence. They even shared information on rebates and tax credits that you get by installing a heat pump in your home, which was so helpful! After waiting for a part to come in on Tuesday, we got our new system installed on Wednesday by Melvin and Carlos who did an amazing job, were very communicative and explained everything I need to know going forward about maintenance. They diagnosed the issue that caused my old unit to fail, and even though I had already agreed to a new unit they still tried to see if they could repair the old one. Two other companies had failed to point out that my old unit was the wrong size for my system and they would have made the same mistake with the new unit. True heading and cooling came out to upgrade my water heater, HVAC and install an AC condenser. I got bids from 5 different companies. True won us over because they met many of our requirements. 1. The owner is directly involved with the business and in our case walked through to check on the installation and fine tune a week later. 2. We had a good experience meeting one of their technicians on a previous service request. 3. They schedule with us two days so the installers have plenty of time to get the job done to the best of their abilities, (Some companies said there would be an additional charge for an extra day if needed). 4. They had the equipment in stock. 5.Their reviews were very promising. 6. Their representative that did the initial bid seemed easy going and represented the company well. Julio and Dustin came out to do our installation. They were very professional and thorough. We appreciated that they were patient and friendly when answering all our questions. There was an issue at the end keeping power to work with our condenser and had to call their electrician back for a breaker adjustment. They also called in an additional experienced team member as a second set of eyes to help diagnose the issue, but Dustin and the electrician were able to get the issue resolved themselves. From start to finish this locally owned company is fantastic. I was referred to them for a warranty repair and and Brooke called to set up a time within minutes of the request getting logged with the warranty company. Logan was available to come take a look the next day and was very knowledgeable, listening to my questions and giving me a lot of information. I was impressed by how quickly they were able to get out and complete the repair and decided to get an estimate from them on replacing my 20+ year old furnace and A/C. I couldn't be more pleased with the end result. Jophery came out to do the estimate and was happy to talk through options with me. I was leaning toward a high efficiency furnace and was pleasantly surprised when he walked me through all the options, not just the more expensive option I thought I wanted. He also brought up the option of a heat pump rather than an A/C since I had recently had solar panels installed. I didn't know anything about them. I had gotten an estimate for a furnace and A/C from another company for a brand I hadn't heard of before and was pleased I could get a Lennox system from True Heating & Cooling - including a heat pump - for less than that estimate. They had great financing available and my new furnace and heat pump were installed in less than a week. Julio, Carlos, Samuel and Justin were very professional and careful of my new carpet when removing my old furnace from a very tight basement closet and installing the new one. What a great company. I first spoke with Brooke on the phone to set up an appointment for someone to come out. She was very polite and was able to get someone out within a couple hours (almost unheard of this day and age). They would text me and notify me the estimated time he would be coming. Brain was able to change the capacitor for me within 5min. The price for the part and for them to come out wasn't over the top as well. Brian also walked me through the process of how the ac unit worked and even made sure to check to filters in my return vents to make sure they weren't dirty. Had 5 separate homes serviced by the good people at True Heating and Cooling. To start off, Brooke answers the phone EVERYTIME and normally on the second ring. What a treasure she is. After a seasonal service check on our properties the property owner decided to replace one of the older units system Furnace and AC. Jophery was out on a separate appointment for the estimate and returned the proposal quickly and was able to make modifications to that proposal nearly instantly. We had paid in advance for a 2 season checkup for the unit being replaced and the prepaid service fee was deducted as a credit without ever having to ask. What a pleasant surprise! The 2 days of removal and install were handled by Chris Ramirez and Travis Abram. A great team on a slightly tricky install. The guy's made sure the unit had AC up and running before leaving the first day. Day 2 required some attic work for venting modifications, the outdoor temps were well over 90 degrees so the attic had to be well over 100+++degrees. Not a single hesitation from the technicians who moved forward and completed the work. The job was clean, (the furnace closet was cleaner than I had left it before) the equipment was moved into the unit across hardwood floors and a living room full of furniture and nothing was harmed, scratched or out of place. Down to the price, it was fair and competitive, not cheap and not a gouge. Remember you get what you pay for, except in this case I think I did better than the price would have indicated. I subsequently hired another provider that noticed issues not observed by True Heating. On the positive side the owner contacted me after my review and apologized that the communication issues were due to them moving office and gave me a refund.
