We hired them to replace a gas furnace in a rental house in Lafayette, and they did a good and through job. They installed a Trane two-stage furnace and improved the airflow plenums as part of this, and put in a new thermostat. They arrived on time and were easy to deal with. On time, a pleasant worker who didn't want to get in my way and said that he would be out of my home in a matter of minutes (paraphrasing) serviced my furnace. He came out of the.basement with care to put the floorboard back in place and declared the furnace fit and that I had an extra thick filter that I didn't need to replace yet. He finished with a check of the digital thermostat to be sure that the program and the fan was working. Then he was gone like he never was there! Very efficient. read more

He came highly recommended by a friend who is a builder, so he was the first one I called when my furnace stopped working early one morning. 1) He called me exactly at 8:30am when his business opened. No anxious waiting for a call back. This was great considering it was 13 outside. 2) He took time to chat with me over the phone, asking about the issue. He said, 'I can be over at 10am, but you may want to try a few simple things before I come over.' Since I'm handy and the fix was simple, I did what he said and boom, the furnace kicked on. Twenty years ago, during a sale, a home inspector found an issue with my furnace. The buyer insisted that we user their HVAC company. The company indicated that they would need to rework the system. The proposal was expensive and took out a large section of the built in mahogany closet and drawers. I called Circulating Air, and they replaced with a different type of furnace and exhaust. I forget the details, but the inspector agreed it was the best solution that would not impact the integrity of the custom carpentry in this older home. Closet space in older homes is valuable real estate! Fast forward twenty years and we have just replaced the furnace in a different home. Bob told us when we bought this home that this furnace had many more good years left. He was correct, but the time had come to replace the old furnace. Bob, Levone, and Tony are amazing! Our furnace had just been repaired by a competitor but was still overheating constantly and shutting down. The competitor suggested strongly that we replace the entire unit. Circulating Air then diagnosed the real underlying problem, which was a dirty filter and wrong size/improperly installed filter. Replacement with a new correct size filter solved the problem and the furnace is now running fine. Saved us thousands of dollars that the competitor would have charged for a new furnace. Our air conditioning broke for our large house at the beginning of June. Some companies couldn't come out till mid-July, another (Precision Air) came out and quoted us around $900 for a big fix, and another quoted ~$450 without even seeing the problem. We started feeling like someone was pulling a fast one on us, so we asked a VERY trustworthy plumber who he would recommend, and hands down, he recommended Circulating Air. Bob from Circulating Air came out the day we called them. Bob was very personable and pleasant to work with, and it took him approximately 10 seconds to look at the air conditioner, and identify the problem (which was plainly visible to an expert): a blown out capacitor ($45 part). It maybe took him 10 minutes to fix it, and everything is working beautifully. I would HIGHLY recommend them, as they didn't "go for the kill" when they could have. Lucky for them, we're going to do a complete AC overhaul in our 5 bedroom house next summer to a more efficient system, and we're totally giving them our business. Arrived home to a sweltering house. No leaks from the A/C but the condenser was quiet. Took my own advice and called Circulating Air. I thought for sure that I was going to have to replace my 20 year old condenser. Tony found a burned out contactor and a dead run cap. The fan and the compressor in the condenser were in excellent condition so he said that there was no need to replace the condenser. Woohoo! Lucky me! For a fraction of the cost of a new condenser, my A/C is running better than it ever has. I think Tony installed the new and improved versions of those parts!
