I'm still vibrating from my class. I attended Baptiste Power Yoga (now called Fire & Flow Yoga -- they recently changed their name!) on an auspicious day: International Day of Yoga, which also happens to be summer solstice. On this very special day, they were offering a two-hour class where we would be doing 108 sun salutations. I didn't know if I could do that many sun salutations in a row. I was a little bit anxious because I not only didn't know if I could do 108 sun salutations without injuring myself or fainting, but also, I had never been to Fire & Flow, so I didn't know the studio or anyone there. But yoga people are my people, so I went with it and trusted the universe. When I arrived, I was treated like a regular, and everyone was super friendly. I got a little tour of the studio and got to check out the amenities. It's a small but very clean and functional studio, and they offer coffee and tea complimentary, and juice and other drinks to purchase. There are water stations to fill up your water bottle, restrooms, cubbies and a community kitchen where you can hang out. Because this was a long and special class, there were a few different instructors leading, and each brought a different energy to the group. They played uplifting music during the sun salutations, which helped keep up the momentum. At the end of the class, we were brought cold towels that smelled like lavender to put over our eyes while we meditated, and it was honestly the best thing I've experienced all week. I loved my first class at Fire & Flow, and I want to come back to experience a more "regular" yoga class! This place is so welcoming and warm, and I can't wait to visit again. read more

Such a welcoming studio where everyone belongs! It doesn't matter if you've done yoga for years or it's your first time, you will be supported and find classes that meet your needs. I started going twice a week and am now attending six times a week because this place is good for my mental and physical health. came on classpass but omg i promised i'd be back and i actually meant it this time lol. such an amazing studio with truly the nicest staff (sometimes people can understandly be a little standoffish when you tell them you're there on classpass but they did not bat an eye!!!). my mat was being annoying so the instructor just gave me hers for the class? it was such a tough workout but i was Shocked how fast it flew by, the perfect combo of tough and manageable. i think i now understand what a runners high is, just rebranded to a yogi high lol read more

I absolutely love this studio for so many reasons. I've been looking for 'my yoga studio' since I moved to Carmel 10 years ago. I wanted a place that felt like a local place - like a community feel. I found Baptiste a couple of years ago and instantly knew it was where I would join. The classes are at great times and the variety of types of classes is fantastic. It is immaculate and cozy and smells amazing...it makes my day better the second I step inside. It's an inclusive, non judgmental place of practice and locally owned and run by true practitioners and teachers who care about their community. read more

Fire & Flow Yoga is an amazing studio with great teachers that encourage community and meet you where you are in your yoga practice. The sense of community is evident in all of their classes and events they sponsor. The owners are great people and make sure everyone feels welcome. The are very accepting of suggestions the community and teachers bring forth. I would not want to attend any other studio because it is just that special. If you have not tried this studio please do yourself a favor and take class. You will be glad you did. read more

This is the best studio I've been to. I have been a member of many "workout" studios and this one offers all the things I love. The top two being a good workout--Baptist Power Yoga is the BEST work out. You leave sweaty and feeling great for working you mind and your body. BUT you will not be limping the next day from hard pounding. The second most important thing is community. If you are looking for a place where people say "Hi" when you walk in, smile at you, and start small conversations then this is the place! I love it here. After studio hoping for a number of years, I have finally found a yoga studio home. Baptiste Power Yoga offers a variety of classes so you can find one that fits you. I really like the power 60 classes and the power beats (set to a fab play list) I also enjoy the slower pace of Yin yoga too. I have found all of the instructors to be knowledgeable, welcoming and fun. If you have never tried yoga before or have been practicing for years you can find a home here. During Covid the studio maintains a safety protocol that I feel very comfortable with. They also offer a zoom link to most classes as well. Highly recommend! read more

Baptiste Power yoga has been a place of refuge for me the last year! I love the power-it can be challenging but I have gotten so much stronger! I love the stretching-my body can move so much easier! Such a respite from the insanity of 2020! After just one class I knew I would love it here. I have come every day since joining and each class is unique. The Yoga/HIIT classes are fun and upbeat and keep you moving. The relaxation classes are a great way to unwind. If you're new to yoga, this is the place to be. I've done a handful of classes at Baptiste the last few weeks and this is the hot yoga studio I was looking for! They have two different hot rooms, smaller class sizes, and it's hot but not overly so like some other places I've been to. The instructors are motivating and great at demonstrating the postures as well as explaining them without pushing anyone past their limits. They have two personal bathrooms both with showers that have great water pressure which is huge since I usually am heading straight to work after a class. There is also a great variety of classes. Courtney's "power play" class is my favorite so far. She brings amazing energy and positivity to every session along with a great soundtrack that fits the theme. Most of the classes have a playlist that goes along with it but it's not too loud that you can't hear yourself think. The owners are there often and are extremely personable and welcoming. If you're looking to start hot yoga or just looking for a new studio I can not recommend this place enough! read more

It had been years since I did yoga and never practiced regularly. I was a bit nervous when I arrived for my first free class at Baptiste Power Yoga Indianapolis, but found the owner, teacher and community so friendly- and I found the flow so enjoyable- that I signed up for more classes that same day. Three months later I am now practicing 5-6 days a week because BPYI is more than yoga. It is a friendly and supportive community that has given me the tools to feel physically and mentally stronger. The teachers are very encouraging and knowledgeable in Baptiste Power Yoga. They are attentive and give verbal cues and suggestions for modifications to help enhance alignment. There are a variety of classes and workshops offered both in studio and livestream. I feel very safe in the studio due to multiple steps the owners have taken during this time of COVID-19. I live 20 minutes away so take some of the classes on Zoom. The teachers do a great job including those participating online. Highly recommend. read more
