She seemed very nice. During the session it felt like more pressure than I realized until I got to my car. Because I have glasses I couldn't see it from the seat to the mirror and she didn't hand me the mirror after she finished. But when I got to the car, I checked and I saw how I had cuts under my eyebrows. Very disappointing.

I just left. I'm disappointed I ever paid for this. I knew something was wrong when the thread kept breaking. I've never had my eyebrows swell or my upper lip. She was aggressive and what annoyed me was she lifted my head when it was over and did not hand me a mirror like everyone else before me. I had to ask for it. I would not recommend at all.

Quick and easy local business in the North Pasadena area for all your eyebrow threading needs. Did I mention it costs less than $10! Like with any threading studio, it's important to communicate your wants and thoughts upfront. Don't be afraid to ask for adjustments! I went for a more natural and brow clean-up, so she did a great job of addressing my concerns after the first round when I felt like my eyebrows were still uneven. I had one slightly thicker eyebrow, so she did a great job of taking out only a thin line to give me a more defined arch. They clean and sanitize the tools and chairs after each client. Plenty of street parking in the surrounding neighborhood area.

This place is terrible! Look at how she left my ends. She didn't even give me a mirror to look at them before taking me out the chair. She gave me NO SHAPE

Trying to figure out how to fix this mess with a brow pencil. It's going to take a solid 2 months for them to grow back in to be reshaped.

So I'm updating my review because apparently this place is hit or miss. Apparently some of the workers don't work during the week and only on weekends. If anybody knows the name of the older woman who is here weekends please let me know. I couldn't come back Friday or Saturday so I explained what I wanted and how they just needed to be cleaned. I was so upset from the results that here I am crying at home trying to figure out how to fucken fix my one chola surprised eyebrow. See for yourself. The saying goes that eyebrows are sisters not twins but holy shit this isn't even getting close to cousins.

My new favorite place! I had never gotten my eyebrows done before, so I decided to try threading before leaving for college. After searching for threading places on Yelp, I decided to try out Fiona's because of its highly positive reviews and low prices. My sister and I got there at around 11:30am and luckily for us, there was no one else in the shop so we were seated immediately. The shop is really small so we had a bit of difficulty finding it, and the area isn't the best but oh well. The daughter helped me with my brows, and the mother (I'm guessing she's Fiona) did my sister's. I was pretty nervous because I had heard horror stories from friends who'd had bad experiences with threading. However, the daughter was really nice and patient which helped sooth my nerves. The experience honestly wasn't that bad and I know this'll sound weird but it was like a good kind of pain LOL. Kind of like scratching your skin really hard or something..do I sound like a masochist? Haha the entire thing took maybe 10 minutes and I really love my eyebrows/upper lip! They're so much cleaner and defined than before, and my upper lip is now mustache-less yay lol. And the best part is that the total ended up being only $11!! They also give out stamp cards with free threading after 9 purchases I believe. I love love love this place--very kind and skilled people and affordable prices. I'll definitely come back when my brows start getting out of hand. Support local businesses!

CASH ONLY It is a small place with about 4 chairs. I went in the weekday afternoon with a very little wait. I'm not sure of the lady's name that did my threading, but she was the only one there at the time, which I believe is the owner. She was very nice. I told her I wanted a clean up and not too thin and she did just that. Afterwards, she puts on some lotion which felt nice. The eyebrow threading was $7 which is a pretty good price. She also has a stamp card.

This place may look like a hole in the wall but the service is great! Fiona is very personal, sweet and gentle! It's rapid, professional and pain free! Let alone the price $7 is more than reasonable! p.s. Collect nine times on your stamp card then you get one free service! I highly recommend this place. This review is looooong overdue! I've been coming here for about two years now and I've never had a bad experience. I'm in and out in under 10 minutes (that's on the weekends when there's a wait). Only "bad" thing I can say is they only accept cash. So always remember to hit the atm beforehand. It's a ridiculously good deal $7 and a punch card where your 10th session is free! I was unaware that it was cash only, but they ended up figuring out how to charge me using a square. After having my brows and upper lip threaded, my total was only $12. Although it had felt a little more painful than usual, I was very satisfied with the affordability and with my results. read more

I did eyebrows from Lazmi (I think that was her name) and she was ok. She didn't do forehead massage and had to give instructions everything for eyebrow shape. She seemed frustrated towards the end and also took off a couple extra hairs from my top left eyebrow. I can see a small bald patch their :( She also didn't clean very well on top left. I will try this place again with some other girl given the good reviews and great pricing. read more

Went in had Rubi thread my eyebrows and cheeks didn't feel any pain I didn't get any scabs afterwards. She even trimmed down my eyebrows. Her and her mom were very welcoming. The prices were really great as well!! This place is definitely the go to spot!!! read more

I totally recommend Fiona's! My mom and I went together and it was both of our first times getting our eyebrows threaded instead of waxed. I was surprised at how quick and relatively painless it was. Came in on a Saturday afternoon, there was a small wait but worth it in the end. I love how my eyebrows looked and the price was great will definitely be coming back. Only downside is the place is so small, so when it gets crowded it's going to be difficult to move around. THE BEST eyebrow threading studio I've gone to so far. She is always so sweet and gentle! Both her daughter and herself have good technique. I always go in for a clean, and they leave my brows full! I'm here on vacation and on a whim came here after some yelping. Fantastic experience. Cheap at $7, the lady who did my brows really listened to me. That's all I ask for, really, is to listen, and she did exactly that. She then showed me one brow before moving onto the other. Once she was done with both, she showed me again, and made very minor adjustment after. She also made sure to keep most of your brows there, and mostly just cleaned up the shape. It was a great experience. Can't be beat. Wish we had somewhere as cheap and painless and good in Boston! read more

YES they're open now. They're doing everything they can in the store to ensure our safety like wearing masks and face guards as well as taking our temps and providing sanitizer. They continue to deliver great threaded eyebrows and kind customer service. And they're only doing eyebrows no upper lip, etc. read more

This is my second time here and I must say that this is the BEST place! I traveled 3 hours to LA this last weekend, and each time that I'm in town, I ALWAYS make it a point to go to Fiona's. she takes her time working on your eyebrows and does not rush. The best part is the quick little massage with lotion that she goes on your eyebrows once you're done. She goes above and beyond and is so welcoming! You cannot beat this price! I paid $7 for my brows. Where I'm from, they charge me $12 for a mediocre job. I will continue to visit Fiona's each time I'm in town. read more

This was my first time getting my eyebrows threaded (let alone handled by someone other than me) so I was nervous as can be. I was worried the pain would be awful and scared of all the horror stories you hear of girls getting their eyebrows professionally done. Well they saw me immediately 30 minutes to closing (already off to a great start) and the daughter of the studio did an amazing job w/o any pain! Great Price, $7.00!! As compared to $11-12 charge at nearby threading places. But honestly, not the best. My eyebrows looked okay, they were not exactly even and she made them too thin and short for my taste (even though I told her not to). This is the closest threading place near my house, besides a threading studio at Paseo or Zibas. The lady is nice, but I wouldn't say she is the best threader out there. She gives a stamp card, 10 services and then you get one free. Mmmm, I've been twice. I may (or may not) go back. read more

Called to make sure that they weren't busy and got my eyebrows done by the mother. She was very attentive and made sure I was feeling okay as she was threading because she knew that there would be a few pinches here and there. It was comforting to know that they really do care and she was apologizing that it would hurt a little, and I kept telling her it was okay lol. Take those pinches like a champ! I was asked to sit at one of the stations and then I told the person that I wanted them to be cleaned up and shaped but to leave it on the thicker side so I can continue to shape them in the future. Well, she cut some of the hairs, which is standard. Then she threaded lightly above the brow only to clean it up and not shape it. Then she barely cleaned up the arch area and asked if I was ok with the service. Honestly, I could have cleaned up with tweezers, but whatever. So then she does the same thing on the other side. And that was it. She didn't thread them to the point they were shaped, they looked barely cleaned up but there was no finesse to them. I don't think I'll go back. I truly wanted to like them. I went there because I saw the pictures so I figured they'd do a decent service. It was meh or sub-par at best. 3 stars because of the business cleanliness and sanitation practices.

The 4.5-star rating is unfortunately misleading. I respect the hustle, but I left with eyebrows that looked more like distant cousins than sisters--completely different shapes. Fiona used her fingers to wipe away hairs mid-threading instead of a tissue, which was my first red flag. The second? She didn't offer me a mirror when she finished. At $10, I guess I got what I paid for, but still... the beauty industry clearly isn't for everyone. Do yourself (and your brows) a favor--please go elsewhere. read more

I have been to Fionas Threading Studio Pasadena again and done my eyebrow and full face threading it was so cool, the lady who thread me was so good and professional, i m really happy with her service. the price is also very good, juss 6.99 for eyebrow.
