Chase (with helper Andrew) patched it up perfectly, dealing with the fact that one of the 4 speaker mounting points had been broken. The other cuts, in our wall, were also patched perfectly. Texture was applied to both, matching the rest of the ceiling and wall. We were given the option of doing the painting ourselves, or they could come back and paint it. We chose the latter, so Chase came back a few days later (after everything had dried) and completed the job. No one could possibly tell there was repair work done in any of the places. They were on time (or a bit early) both times. They laid a paper runner to the area, preserving our carpeting (and wore booties at other times). Casey (the owner) was super responsive via text, and was a pleasure to work with. Quality work, quick, and pricing seemed reasonable. In regards to the air conditioning issue that caused a leak due to improper installation, crowne communities went radio silent on me after I notified them of the problem. Not sure why crowne communities would do something like that, and it was the second issue we had with water leaking through our roof due to their build quality. In summary RZ Drywall is great, crowne communities has not been.

Needed soundproofing for my in-law unit bedroom wall that is shared with the main home kitchen and…read moreliving room. Since I only could access the in-law unit bedroom wall side, I requested mineral wool, two layers of quietrock with green glue in between. Many contractors did not want to do the two layers of quietrock and didn't think the green glue was necessary. Do It Now Drywall immediately recommended all these as the best option for my wall. They were professional, prompt, courteous, experienced, and completed the whole job from prep to cleanup and even help me painted the wall with reasonable pricing. They made sure to insulate the electric outlets and used acoustic caulking to seal all gaps. Pleased with the results as I can watch movies at a decent enjoyable volume without disturbing the in-law bedroom.

During the project, they discovered some very unsightly mold, cut it out, investigated it before contacting me because they didn't want to cause undue worry if it was not a big issue. I really appreciated this and the time Jason took to explain what he found (and that he completely removed the mold so crisis adverted!). Also, they took a few packages which were delivered to me and put them in my garage which was very thoughtful. They even textured an area they weren't charging me for so that the look would be seamless. My final bill was identical to my estimate despite the mold and some additional patchwork which wasn't part of the estimate. The Negatives: Some of our brand new ceiling HVAC vents now need new duct taping and sealing. They left a crazy amount of mess on our lawn and sidewalk, even with wasting a LOT of water power washing their mess away into the street gutters, which in itself was inappropriate. There is no way it's ok to just wash that stuff into our water systems. They gouged the corners of knee walls that now need patching. We can repair our house. But the water waste and contamination was not acceptable.
