Flaked twice on arriving for appt to give me an estimate. I'm being generous and giving 2 stars because I can't remark on their job quality (who knows maybe they are good?). I can however say that they don't communicate well or seem to make established meetings. In my experience, if a contractor can't do those basics, it's only going downhill from there. So I won't be giving them a chance. read more

Daniel did a great job with our ceiling. He was easy to communicate with for scheduling and took care to listen to the details we needed done. Pricing was reasonable for the job we needed. read more

Top-tier service and excellent communication throughout the entire process. The work was completed with a high level of dedication and attention to detail, and the final result exceeded our expectations. We truly appreciate the effort put into delivering quality work and would gladly work together again. read more

Extremely responsive. They were able to come out the next morning after I put in a request. They were done in less than an hour including wall texture, completed the job under the quoted price, AND their quote was significantly less than what other competitors were charging. I would definitely recommend this company. read more

We needed some drywall repair on our home before putting it on the market. I contacted Daniel and he responded back promptly on a Sunday. I had taken pictures which I posted on Yelp. He gave me a very fair estimate and we scheduled today for the repairs to be completed. Daniel stated he would be here between 7:30a -8:00a. He promptly showed up at 7:30a. That was refreshing to see someone actually show up on time. DJR is a family owned local business that I am proud to utilize. We had a hole to be patched, several corner bead repairs, and a small ceiling patch that needed repair and texture. Daniel and his Mom got right to work putting down Visqueen throughout the walking paths in our home. The work was completed and we were very impressed with the quality of Daniel's work. The corners are smooth and all the repaired areas were textured to perfection. You can see that Daniel is proud of his work. I cannot recommend DJR drywall enough. If you need drywall/texture repairs completed, look no further than DJR drywall. read more

Contacted them today through Yelp and got a quick reply from Daniel, and a really competitive quote shortly afterwards. Scheduled them for the job tomorrow. Looking forward to updating as soon as the project is finished in a day or two! read more

Hired Daniel for a shed to office conversion, where he installed insulation, drywall with mudding and texture for the walls and ceiling so they are ready for paint. We received several quotes and they were all within a couple hundred bucks of each other, but Daniel was knowledgeable about the project and actually shared with me some of the process I was unaware about going into the project, which I found helpful! They showed up at 7:00 am and were totally done at 2:30 (including taking a break for lunch and clean up)! On top of the work being done quickly, Daniel and his staff were very nice and professional. They took care with our windows, door and floors and didn't leave any trace that they were here, save for the great work they did! I have pictures posted that show various stages of the project. We are very happy and highly recommend their services, if you are looking for well done work in a timely and respectful manner and for a decent cost, you can't go wrong! read more

I'm really confused by the reviews! I chose Daniel because of the high reviews but he came out to see job, promised me a quote within a day or so but nothing .... Hasn't responded to numerous emails & texts. If he didn't want the job just say so but to just ignore is the worst thing . He seemed like a good guy but this isn't professional at all. ‍ read more

Quick response. Quality work. Reasonable price. I would use them again without a second thought. read more

Our air conditioner condensation line got blocked and the water leaked into our attic and then on to the ceiling to a bedroom. The ceiling crashed down and left a large hole. It was a huge mess and we were super surprised and shocked about it all. We called our air-conditioning people (Heald Mechanical) who came out immediately to fix the line and stop the leak. We called Daniel with DJR Drywall and he was able to come out the next day to give us an estimate on fixing the hole in the ceiling. It was determined that it would be best to replace the room's entire ceiling. (We had emptied the room out and cleaned up the mess prior to calling Daniel) Daniel was easy to communicate with. He taped off any area that needed it. The ceiling's demolition, installing the new insulation, installing the drywall and then painting the ceiling was handled with personal professionalism. We were beyond grateful for his expertise and very nice service. He was affordable and very efficient. He takes pride in his company's work. I would highly recommend DJR for any of your drywall replacement needs. (We just had the rest of the room painted and wanted to show how nice the ceiling turned out) read more

DJR did a fantastic job patching holes in the wall and celing. Matched the level and modern knock down texture perfectly.

From the moment I contacted Daniel (Tuesday), to completing the project (Friday), he was a pleasure to work with. My parents purchased a new home and needed the garage texturized and painted. They had quite a bit of stuff already in the garage but Daniel was willing to move it to the middle of the garage, and ensure everything was covered before beginning. He showed up on time, and finished early. We are extremely grateful and would recommend DJR Drywall for future projects! read more

Unfortunately, I have to downgrade my rating due to poor after-sale service. I was a happy customer, and even paid $150 bonus when they finished. Two months later, the wall they installed failed county's building inspection. The inspector requested the seams and gaps on fire wall to be sealed. I contacted Daniel multiple times. He agreed to come to fix them, then no show no call. After several attempts and slips, he no longer responds to me. Respond to Daniel's response: Compliance to building code is implicitly included in any valid contract. Your work failed building inspection. In addition, you failed the multiple opportunities I've given you to make this right. At the end, you showed your unprofessional attitude. I'm sorry you are ruining the family business your parents have worked hard to build up. read more

Daniel and his father did an excellent job installing Sheetrock and texture in my backyard shed as well as repairing two ceiling cracks in my house. Daniel and his father were on time and completed all of their work as planned and in a timely fashion. They masked off all of the work areas and cleaned up the areas following their work leaving the areas as they found them. I will use their services again in the future and recommend them to friends needing the same type of services. Thanks guys for a job well done. read more

I had to repair the drywall in 2 areas of my house due to a plumbing leak. It was easy to schedule the project. Daniel showed up on time and completed the job quickly, a lot faster than I expected. Fastest service I ever received. He was in and out and did a fantastic job. He even gave me his own supplies to use for a later time. He fixed up my dry wall and added texture. Matching the same exact wall I had prior. He was kind and overall I'm highly satisfied with his service. 10/10 would recommend again read more

Daniel did an excellent job, were very quick, very professional. Would recommend them for drywall work

I sent out a request for a few bids on getting some work done in our home. We had 3-4 spaces we wanted closed that were open zero space areas when the home was built. Danny responded and quiere me a fair price for all the work to be completed and stated he could come the next day. He showed up on time to start the work and worked well through the day, his team showed up in the afternoon to help him complete the work and texturize and prep the surfaces for painting. We needed about 2 days to dry so the said they would come back to paint on Saturday morning again a duo form his crew showed up on time and completed the work efficiently and on time. They were polite and cleaned up after themselves and kept their work spaces clean as well. read more

We had some water damage from a leak in our roof and we had to replace half of the ceiling in our master bedroom. Daniel and his crew came out, gave me an estimate on the spot, then got to work. They were very professional. They made sure nothing was tracked into or out of the house. They taped everything off and they were done in two days. Replaced insulation, sheetrock, tape and floated, spray texture and painted. You could not tell were the old sheet rock and the new came together. It was seamless and looks amazing. Thank you, Daniel. read more

Reached out several times never called back. Responded initially. And gave quote. Tried calling and messaging over and over no response.

I can't say enough positive things about my experience with Daniel and DJR Drywall! I needed to turn a loft in a nursery and WOW did DJR deliver. Daniel and team framed, textured, installed a door, closet, painted and moved a light switch with such detail and precision it looks like it was there the whole time! Daniel was incredibly hard working, an elite communicator, a true partner in the project and worked so so clean! Thank you DJR Drywall - now the new addition to our family has the best place to get settled! read more

Made an appointment to come by at 7am on a Saturday. At 6am messaged if we could do later and never responded when I asked what time.

I went from requesting a quote to getting the job finished next day. Daniel did a great job finishing a 2ft x 18ft section of ceiling -- taped, mudded, and textured to match the rest of the ceiling, all for a reasonable price. I highly recommend DJR! read more

Do not use these guys. They were hired to do a lvl 5 smooth wall. Daniel's father floated the walls & did most of the texture/finishing work. They tried to leave the job when it wasn't even close to finished. The worker said if you ask me, it's done. If you want touchups you show me. The guys came back & attempted to fix. They left thousands of pinholes. We had to pay another team to fix their work. I'm professional. Dirty on the job site. Don't return calls or fix issues. Formal complaint with CSLB filed. read more

Daniel responded quickly. I sent photos and he gave me a price and came out the next day. They were very careful protecting my floor and areas adjacent to where they did the work. We are new home owners and had our first leak during the storms around New Years. Daniel was really responsive at first and came out the day after I called to check the damage. He doesn't do drying, but gave me solid advice on how to make sure the remediation company didn't take advantage of me. Once everything was dry, I reached out to have him come fix it all. He once again was available to come by quickly to check things out. Except he didn't show up. I texted after the appointment window with no response. I texted again the next day to reschedule and never heard back. This was almost three weeks ago now. We're going to have to hire someone else to finish the job now, which is a bummer. We wanted to work with Daniel due to his great reviews and good pictures of finished jobs. Hopefully you'll have better luck reaching him if you hire him! read more

He was able to come out the next morning and did an excellent job! When it came to reinforcing the light fixture he made sure the job was done in a way that made us happy and would hold up. He didn't just patch the hole. Oh and his prices were in budget too! read more

Friendly, efficient, and gives you value! We redid our basement and Daniel and his family (yep, parents even came to help) did a great job installing Sheetrock and texturing the space. Also - gave a competitive bid and was flexible with the start date. read more

Quick response and great work! Daniel responded right away to my inquiry and showed up next day to patch our ceiling.

My business space was a yoga/dance studio before I moved in and the previous owners had huge glass mirrors on one of the walls. I had most of the mirrors removed but during the process, we took off a whole lot of things from the wall and it looked terrible. After contemplating about the decision I made to DIY things myself, DJR Drywall was able to revive the wall and make it look like nothing ever happened! Very responsive. Work was needed on short notice for a rental property due to water damage. DJR was able to quote and do a high quality job in a short period of time. Stay away from this business, don't trust them!! Daniel's father came and applied texture over MOLD!! I had water damage that needed repair and essentially he just wanted an easy job where he didn't even tell me about the mold until the end of the project. Best thing to do is knock down the drywall and start fresh but all he did was cover up the mold. I have attempted to get a hold of Daniel multiple times and still no response. Very unprofessional that's not how you conduct business, I would not recommend them. Now I have to spend even more money getting another drywall contractor. I have attached the picture of the mold. read more
