I requested a water damage inspection around a bathtub. Peter's communication very prompt. Peter arrived onsite and inspected thoroughly for signs of water damage behind the walls and under the flooring. He reported back that the water damage was superficial due to caulking around the bathtub being insufficient and letting water splash from the shower/tub get under the floor transition. Since I was away, this inspection required a lot of trust that the diagnosis wouldn't result in uneccessary work. Peter reported honestly what he saw and recommended a handyman. It was great that Peter was not out to find problems that weren't there. I would hire him again if the need arose. Thanks again, Peter! read more

Oh wow did Peet's Express Restoration come in clutch for us! I reached out via Yelp project inquiry to them and some others. They responded first (so fast!) and were at the house the very next day. They agreed to all the requirements the insurance adjuster asked (and some insurance requirements were weird, and Peet's was cool with them) and started work asap. They always were clear about next steps and come on time when they said they would. I hope I don't need fast restoration again but if I do we will call Peets! read more

I purchased a new home that had some discoloration on the carpet that looked like mold. We were told by the seller it was old damage and all dried out. I called Peet's restoration and they came out and confirmed that there was in fact, water damage, and some mold but more importantly, that there was some active water damage. They went above and beyond to do mold remediation, check the existing walls and room, and called a leak detection company to find out what the problem was before they patched up the wall. Additionally, I mentioned that I was going to have flooring replaced and being the one stop shop that they are, they gave me an excellent price on flooring and sent out to flooring installers, Daniel and Jacob that are probably the best I've ever worked for. Friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and thorough! I would highly recommend this company to anyone. read more

Top tier service! Peets came out immediately to assess the damage to my home after rain came in through our roof, delivered a quote, and had a team working all within a few hours. After receiving a few other quotes, Peets was still the best (and fastest). Would definitely have Peets come out again for any restoration services needed. read more

I had reached out to Peets about fixing a crack in my kitchen ceiling and they shifted the scope away from what I asked for. Upon inspection, Peter advised that they remove the dry wall and inspect for mold because there was apparent light humidity marks along this crack in the drywall. For good measure, he recommended that a small water stain behind the upstairs toilet also be inspected for mold behind it. At no point was it made clear that the scope did not include fixing this ceiling crack, which was my primary request. I was under the impression that the scope was being expanded to include a mold inspection, but the scope was instead shifted away from my original ask. Turns out there was no mold to be concerned about, but they still proceeded to set up an expensive dehumidifier operation in my kitchen with no clear benefit and it was seemingly overkill for what could have been a simple dry wall repair. They also removed more bathroom wall than was necessary for the inspection. When I found out that actual ceiling repair would be an extra two grand, I went with a different contractor to finish the job. They did perfom the work consistent with the scope that they wrote, but that scope did not meet my expectations. If you proceed with Peets, also verify that the invoice details match the work actually performed. Overall, this project seemed extraneous, with no opportunity for course correction, and the ceiling crack was replaced by a gaping hole. read more

Long story made short: These are the guys you want to hire. I recently flooded the kitchen and basement of my brand new home in the middle of the night. Peet's team made fixing my big mess as easy and fast as humanly possible. They instantly responded to my emergency call in the middle of the night and began protecting my house from mold. They quickly restored and replaced even the smallest details of my damaged kitchen and basement floors, cabinets, and ceiling. This is a brand new home, so I really had the highest expectations for their quality of work--which they met every time, on schedule. And Pete handled all of the work coordinating with my insurance provider, so I barely had to think about it. I sincerely hope you never have to meet Pete and his team. But if you ever manage to do something as dumb as flood your own home in the middle of one of the most drought stricken parts of the country: You'll feel smart about hiring these guys. read more

If you want a five star company which comes well recommended then this is the one to go with. We had an air conditioner leak which caused damage to our ceiling. I contacted five companies to receive estimates, and Peet's Express Restoration had the fastest response time, hands-down the best price for the job, and could start the job four days faster than any of the other competition. Peter was excellent at communicating and keeping me informed of the process. They had the water mitigation completed a lot faster than competitors said would be possible. The best part was they actually performed the restoration work which solved many potential logistic headaches. The work they did was excellent. After the initial restoration we had one small item of concern and they came the very next day to remedy. I've since shown a few friends the room in which the damage occurred and they were not able to point out where any restoration work was done. I'm happy to fully recommend this company for any such work. read more

I had a leak in the bathtub in an upstairs bathroom in my house. The leak went through the wall and in to the ceiling of the room downstairs underneath the bathroom. I needed water damage help so I found Peets on the internet and contacted them. Pete came right out with fans that ran for a few days that dried the water leak up. Then, the bathroom upstairs needed to be re-built because the leaking bathtub had to come out. Pete has a crew that does re-building. That crew did an amazing job. It took several days, but the bathroom was re-done. There's a new bathtub, tile and flooring in there. They were very particular and did a wonderful job. Overall, I was very pleased. read more

Noticed a ceiling leak during a rain and wind storm in March. Found Peter's water restoration company via google. Phone call brought Peter and his team down from Rancho Cordova to Elk Grove at 10 PM while the storm was in progress. They covered the roof with a tarp to stop any further leakage. Grateful for his coming out right away under storm conditions. Within a few days a 4x4 section of the ceiling was removed, large fans were installed to evaporate moisture from the wood frame and the ceiling was restored to its original condition. I highly recommend Peter and his company for the quality of their work and for their service, which was always friendly and considerate. read more

Very grateful for the service Peets Express Restoration provided. We had water damage from the bathroom on the 2nd floor of our home on a Saturday and took a chance by calling at 9pm. I was surprised they answered my call considering it was a weekend and they arrived within an hour. Water mitigation started the following Monday. I was relieved knowing the water damage was immediately assessed and avoided any further damage. They were prompt, communicative, and thorough throughout the whole process. It was very convenient their company did everything from water mitigation, packout, and reconstruction. I would highly recommend this company of you want a seamless experience. Would highly recommend! We were replacing an older built in refrigerator/freezer which no longer functioned. When the installers removed the old one, they found that the back wall was a mess! The installers agreed to store the new unit for several days if we could find someone to remove and repair the wall. We were desperate! My husband called several restoration companies. Peter was able to come to assess it the following day, remove the wall, and repair it within the next day. They were so responsive, always answering the phone, always working with our schedule, completing the work, left the area spotless after their work. Great job!!! Call Peet's Express with your restoration needs! read more

I have never experienced better customer service. At the request of my HO Insurance Carrier, I was requested to mitigate subsequent damages from December-January 2023 Windstorms by hiring water removal restoration services. Peets response for initial inspection immediate, followed by next week on scene demolition and removal of water. 1 day into their initial on scene work, area struck by a very significant thunderstorm, followed by Peets returning to site to inspect potential additional water, removal of chimney cap and hardware, placing temporary cap on chimney, in order to remedy affected areas. They also advised me of missing tiles blown off by January windstorm, suggesting roof inspection. I would highly recommend their services. Their charges were competitive with 1 other service that submitted estimate. read more

We found out we had major water damage in our kitchen from a leaking valve behind our fridge. There was a lot of mold surrounding the fridge and our pantry. We called right when we found out at around 9pm on a Wednesday. Peter picked up right away and arranged to come by the next morning. They came as promised and started working within a couple hours. It was so fast and helped alleviate our anxiety concerning the damage. They were very professional and empathetic. Highly recommend them! read more
