We had two areas that needed to be fixed. The more challenging one was the speaker in our 12 foot ceiling had been pushed partially down and dangling a bit, breaking the plasterboard. Chase (with helper Andrew) patched it up perfectly, dealing with the fact that one of the 4 speaker mounting points had been broken. The other cuts, in our wall, were also patched perfectly. Texture was applied to both, matching the rest of the ceiling and wall. We were given the option of doing the painting ourselves, or they could come back and paint it. We chose the latter, so Chase came back a few days later (after everything had dried) and completed the job. No one could possibly tell there was repair work done in any of the places. They were on time (or a bit early) both times. They laid a paper runner to the area, preserving our carpeting (and wore booties at other times). Casey (the owner) was super responsive via text, and was a pleasure to work with. The price was a bit more than I had originally expected, but the amount of work involved was also more than I realized. I'm not sure why my post wasn't visible when I wrote it a year ago? Words can't explain how grateful I am for these guys! It's always the little things that stand out the most -- they showed up when they said they would, finished when they promised, and kept my house incredibly clean while they worked. They were beyond respectful of my property throughout the entire process. I highly recommend this business for any drywall repairs. If you're anything like me, you check the 1-star reviews first and this is actually a 10 star!! I sent out requests to three different companies, Casey is the only one that responded, to date! He was able to give me a quote based on a few pictures and stated he was booked out until next month but managed to squeeze us in because it was such a small job. His nephew, Chase was here, four days after demo and did and AMAZING job!!! We bought the model home and they had a fireplace feature that was way too large for the space and home, in general! Of course, the wall behind and the ceiling were unfinished. After Chase's work, we keep saying, "What fireplace?" Will leave a 5-star review, as well, so the average doesn't go down! Call him!! We couldn't be happier with our experience with Wallen's Drywall! We originally hired an unlicensed contractor to remove our pantry door and open up the wall, and almost immediately we realized the work was not going well. We used Wallen's Drywall to remove popcorn ceiling in a home we purchased about a year ago. They were extremely through, prompt, and provided quality work and service. They even included a couple small requests for us free of charge which was a great added value. Recently, we had a very slow water leak that we discovered behind our fridge. We called Wallen's Drywall and they were able to give us a quote quickly and schedule us in for services quickly as well. Both Casey and Chase are great to work with and we're extremely pleased with their quality of service all around. Both repairs they kept the surrounding area extremely clean and ensured paper was layed down to protect flooring, etc. and have a great attention to detail.
