Always showed up on time and was responsive to any questions I had. Him and his crew were awesome during the demo portion. Put floor and wall protection down and cleaned up after the job was done. Highly recommend Chris and his team to help you out. Very professional and glad It was a good and smooth process coming from horrible situation with water damage. Once I replaced the tankless water heater, I had to deal with the residual damage from the water. The insurance folks sent out a demo team to take all the damaged wall/ ceiling and mold out. The insurance gave my Contact info to a Renovation company they use and said that they would call me. After a couple of days, I did not hear anything so I researched and found these guys on Yelp. They came out the same day provided a quote and I feel that their prices were reasonable. The insurance had already paid me out for what they guesstimated the cost of repairing everything ( i didn't tell them how much I was paid out) and it was comparable to what they quoted me. Although they said if their quote was more, they had no problem going back to the insurance folks to deal with them in regards to more money to do the project. Thankfully, we didn't need to do that. However, I thought that was important to mention because I didn't realize that a lot of people do not want to deal with insurance companies. I was turned away a couple of times when I was trying to find somebody to Replace the water heater and I needed them To provide information to the insurance company. These guys came in and we're so quick and efficient. I had a partial ceiling missing in my living room and in my garage. The wall that separated my living room and garage were missing. They Did the sheet rock,installation, crown molding, painted, Mounted all my cabinets and hooked back up my washer and dryer and sink in a few days! I'm definitely recommending them to friends and family.

I don't usually write reviews. But in this case, I am compelled to relate my experience. I had a recent issue with water leaks which affected some areas of drywall. I contacted Casey outside of what might be considered normal business hours and he still responded quickly. We discussed the issue and symptoms. We agreed on a high level scope of work pending a final assessment to be made when he was actually on site. Casey came over the next day, fitting us in to his tight schedule, to do an assessment and perhaps start on some preliminary work. Based on further discussions on what actions we had taken to date and what data we had (using a moisture meter) as well as measurements and inspections he performed, he suggested that we continue with our actions and that we defer/cancel any work pending further outcomes over the next few weeks. Basically, he proposed that we wait and see if the drywall concerns resolved themselves to our satisfaction - then we wouldn't incur the rather expensive repairs that may not really be necessary. He could always come back and do repairs as needed should complications occur. Based on the reviews to date, I was assured that he would do any repair job well. It's the reviews here that compelled me to contact him in the first place. But that would be nothing new here. I'm writing here to say that I'm moved by his integrity and professionalism. In my experience, Casey is one of those rare craftsmen who excel not only in their craft, but do so with the highest levels of integrity. read more

We needed sheetrock repairs and texturing after the installation of new lighting and a new bathroom sink. We had two 4"- 8" gaping holes in the kitchen and dining ceilings, and missing texturing behind the sink. I narrowed my search to contractors who appeared to specialize in residential repairs. Casey, owner of Wallens Drywall was the first contractor I contacted. He asked good questions, requested photos, had more questions, and was then able to quickly provide an estimate by text. I made a quick judgment call. We agreed on the work, the price, and the work date, all by text. Casey and his installer, Chase, arrived at the time & date agreed upon. Chase was finished with all three areas in less than 3 hours. They left us with good instructions for painting follow-up. (They don't paint...) Chase left the work areas spotless. He had done a great job matching the texturing in each area (one more heavily textured, one barely textured, and one with a mix of both due to prior repairs.) We just finished painting, and all areas look great. There are no clues that any repairs were done. Seamless. I don't know if the price was a bargain or on the high end. For us, it was affordable, and the quality was worth it. read more

Wallen's Drywall in an Amazing Company! I had a ceiling seam crack. We had just had the inside of our house painted,so naturally the crack really stood out after the new paint was applied. I started searching the internet and came across Wallen's Drywall. I talked with the owner Casey,he was very nice and answered all of my questions. I sent him photos and a short video ( via text ) that evening. He immediately texted me back with a quote. Casey and his emploee Chase came out to my home within a day. The first day was the repair work which took a few hours or so, then they came back the next day to perform precise sanding to match the exsiting ceiling texture. A couple of Redwood tree branches landed on my roof and caused a major leak resulting in the crash of drywall, water, and insulation in my living room. The area was about 3 1/2 feet wide and 7 feet long. I researched and read several reviews for drywall repair. I decided to go with Wallen's Drywall and I'm so glad I did. Casey lived up to all the positive reviews and then some! He was confident he could match our original texture on the ceilings and wall that needed repair. But what initially looked like a straight forward job soon became very complicated due to unforeseen conditions (which were crazy!). His easy going manner and skill were deeply appreciated as he worked with our painter to find a resolution. In the midst of the COVID-19 renovation boom, it was nearly impossible to get a drywall contractor to answer a phone or respond to an email. Casey Wallen was the exception. The Drywall industry must be inundated with work this summer. I had a rough time getting contractors to return calls for nearly a week, but not with Wallen's Drywall. I was able to get a walkthrough and quote the same day. Casey and crew did a fantastic job of taping, patching and matching the ceiling texture of the common area of the house to the kitchen (approx. 270 SQ FT). They repaired a cut in my wall that a handyman made. The handyman tried to fix it and it looked horrible. They came out and fixed it fast and you couldn't even tell it was fixed. Casey worked a miracle! Our wall was a mess -leftover glue from paneling, holes covered with new drywall-we thought we'd have to take it down to the studs. But Casey worked on it and 4 hours later you couldn't tell it wasn't a new wall. Amazing job! 4 weeks later no cracking or separation-primed and painted it looks great. read more
