Needed soundproofing for my in-law unit bedroom wall that is shared with the main home kitchen and living room. Since I only could access the in-law unit bedroom wall side, I requested mineral wool, two layers of quietrock with green glue in between. Many contractors did not want to do the two layers of quietrock and didn't think the green glue was necessary. Do It Now Drywall immediately recommended all these as the best option for my wall. They were professional, prompt, courteous, experienced, and completed the whole job from prep to cleanup and even help me painted the wall with reasonable pricing. They made sure to insulate the electric outlets and used acoustic caulking to seal all gaps. Rick did an awesome job removing popcorn ceilings from several rooms in my house and removing wallpaper from the primary bedroom and ensuite bathroom. This job also entailed texturing the ceilings and some wall areas to get them ready to be painted. There also was a separate job where Rick reinstalled drywall, taped, mudded, and textured an area in our living room where we had to open the wall and do repairs due to water damage. I've always had the worst luck when it comes to contractors to the point I research and figure out how to do most of my projects myself. I started replacing the drywall and mudding throughout my house. A year later I realized I was tired of primed walls and came to the conclusion that applying texture to the walls and ceilings may be a little bit more than I wanted to take on. I turned to yelp and contacted several drywall companies for quotes. After getting a few overpriced quotes and talking to a few sketchy contractors, we came across Rick and instantly liked his vibe. Even though his price was in the middle, we had a good feeling he would complete the job the way we wanted. From start to finish it took about 3 days to complete everything. They did a great job at masking off everything and keeping their work area clean. Even learned a few tricks myself about masking. They were very professional and made sure to keep my wife informed when they were done for the day so she could lock up after they left. Day 3, after he sprayed the texture on the walls and ceiling I was very impressed. I couldn't believe our year long project had finally came to an end and our home looked exactly how we imagined it to be. A month later we've yet to come across any issues. If I could give six stars I would. I got four or five bids to do drywall on my house and ricks was the lowest. Despite that, he did not give the impression of someone who would just slap work together and walk out the door. On the contrary, Rick does excellent work in the timeframe that he says and for a reasonable price. Try finding that in another contractor. Since I was also doing work on the house and needed to cut more holes in drywall to expose insulation, framing, wiring, etc., Rick worked with me to adjust his bid and cover the work so that I wouldn't be left with holes in my wall at the end of the day. Even after the many changes his bid was the best and his work was unsurpassed. When there was something I wasn't quite satisfied with or didn't understand he took my concerns seriously. He came back and did another round of work leaving me completely satisfied and ready to move in. I can't recommend Rick enough. Big job or small job, you won't be disappointed and will save yourself a pile of money and headache going with Do It Now Drywall. read more

The only bad Yelp reviews Do It Now has gotten seem to all be people who never received any actual work completed. We painted the ceiling ourselves to save some money but the final job turned out great. Highly recommended. My wife and I just purchased a home in South Land Park. The home was built in 1955. We purchased the home from the original owner. They took great care of the home, but there was some major updating that needed to take place. Items that were on the top of the list was the removal of the 60's style multi color wall paper that was installed in almost every room, the removal of the wood paneling that was in the dinning room and the game room and the removal of the pop corn ceiling.
