I'd give David and his crew 10 stars if I could. We're first time homeowners & hired Sac Paint to paint the exterior of our nearly 75 year old home. We had a lot of ideas for different color combinations & details. David patiently worked through various options & quotes to arrive at a very reasonable price. Communication was excellent! About a week before the job, David stopped by to check final details and order paint colors. The house needed a tremendous amount of prep work, which David and his crew did diligently without cutting any corners. They meticulously applied 2 coats of paint to all siding, trim, gutters, doors, etc. There is not a single line of paint askew, which is impressive given the detail work we asked for on the front & garage doors. I'm a highly detail-oriented, picky person, and married to the same. I don't let things go, I notice everything, and I'm impossible to please. It honestly seems like he's the best painter in Sacramento. If there's anyone better, I would be greatly surprised. I should note that the job was for a segmented garage door, plus some house and trim painting. I was concerned about hiring just any house painter, given that the door is a series of objects that move and need to connect together without sticking. I've seen such doors painted in a careless way, where the paint overlapped the seams and stuck the segments together, or where cracks develop and the seams are a mess. We hired David to paint the entire interior of home including ceilings, closets, and cabinets inside and out. To not completely disrupt our life, he would do a couple of rooms at a time. They would seal everything off to contain the mess and clean everything up at the end of every day. They were quiet and respectful of our time and space. He helped me figure out what color would work best on our ceilings and what finishes he recommended for the paint color I selected. David and his team worked diligently for 4 days completely repainting the interior of our home (including all ceilings!). Each day I genuinely looked forward to coming home and seeing the progress. Their work was professional and no detail was overlooked. The edges are precise, they made sure to patch all holes, hardware was removed and reinstalled. I seriously am in awe of how quickly they repainted our vaulted ceiling. It was no easy feat considering the existing color was a dark orangey brown and I asked them to paint all the ceilings white. Also David's team took great care to protect all of our hardwood floors and built in cabinets. Each day they would clean up any debris that would result from all of the patching they helped us with.
