Wonderful painting company! On Friday evening, I was scrambling for a painter. Needed to have two small closets painted before Tuesday, due to a closet design project that had suddenly been expedited. Came on to Yelp to see if I could find someone local, with good reviews, reasonable pricing, AND would be able to get the job done quickly. I knew it might take some time to find someone, especially since a lot of companies are closed over the weekend. Found a company that looked promising with tons of 5 star reviews and would be able to give me a quote online, without me having to call and talk to someone. Yelp was ready to send my request and asked if I wanted to send out requests to receive competing quotes. I clicked yes. Well, the company I originally messaged was closed over the weekend, so they didn't respond until Monday morning. But this company, Silver Cloud Painting, responded super fast! Teri was on top of it! She replied quickly and I was actually quite impressed at how responsive she was, especially on a Friday evening when most people don't want to be working. Loved Silver Cloud's positive Yelp reviews and could tell the company was knowledgeable in the area of painting. Found out it's a husband-wife team, which is pretty cool! Got all my questions answered and was glad to find out they would be available on Monday morning too! Teri even offered to drive out the next day (Sat/Sun) to show me paint samples. I was impressed that she would take the time to drive out on a weekend when the job was already set. I appreciated how she would take time out of her weekend to make sure we would have the paint colors we wanted. On Monday morning, they arrived right on time and worked tirelessly throughout the day. Brandon and Kameron were both polite and respectful. Loved how they covered our stairs and carpet to make sure they did not bring in any dirt or spill paint. Teri even stopped by halfway through the day to check on things. Towards the end of the day, Kameron had me check the closets to make sure everything was to my liking, which I thought was a nice touch. I appreciated how hard these guys worked, when they could have done things quickly and shoddily and rushed to get out of here. Loved how thorough and attentive they were to details. Brandon painstakingly covered door handles and taped off surfaces (like good companies should), which tells you this is a company you can trust. They do things with precision and don't cut corners. Silver Cloud does excellent work on interiors and exteriors. Closets, rooms, walls, even stair banisters. Found out Brandon specializes in cabinet painting/resurfacing too. Impressive! We had our exterior painted recently, and the team did a great job! Communication with Teri was always prompt and friendly--both texting and calling. She was patient with me and all my questions, advised on color selection, and even came out to put up samples for us. With the foggy weather we've been having, I was skeptical that it would hold off long enough to get the job done, but Teri and Brandon kept a close eye on things and worked strategically and quickly. From start to finish, Silver Cloud Painting Company exceeded our expectations. An appointment was set for 1:00, and at 12:59 they were at my door--right on time. They walked the property with a clipboard, taking detailed notes, and within 20 minutes I had an estimate in hand. Later that same evening, the official estimate arrived in my email. I asked to upgrade the trim paint to a higher-end option, and within the hour, a revised estimate was sent--no hassle at all. On Friday, the pressure-washing crew arrived to prep the house, and by Tuesday I was meeting with the painting crew to review the three colors we had chosen and exactly where we wanted them applied. We reached out to several painters in the area for exterior paint on our home in Penn Valley. Everyone was booked out through October. After speaking with Teri to see if they serviced the Lake Wildwood area, and answered yes, she walked the property and we had a bid from her within 8 hours of our initial phone call. They not only were VERY fair in their price, but were available within the following 2 weeks. Brandon and his crew showed up by 7:30 everyday and worked in the scorching heat until about 4:30 until the job was done. We then had a roof & gutters put on. A few parts on the eves had to be replaced as well as two roof vents. Teri was able to get Brandon back out to get those items painted for us. She gave me suggestions and left me samples color so that I can get samples made and apply to the house. I am so glad I did that because the paper color sample did not look like the actual paint color when applied to the wall. The house needed so much prep work due to damage on the walls my expectations of patching to look flawless were very low. They exceeded my expectations and I am not able to see where the patch work was done. The walls look like new sheetrock and the painting job is beautiful. They recognized that the baseboards had oil based paint that needed extra priming and were able to prep them as needed so that the paint would go on smoothly and not peel off later.
