They gave us the most reasonable quote for our project. Ample time was allowed coordinating with the counters and floors that we were having re-done, with focus on our working and coaching schedules. They even made sure to take care with the pets in our household while they prepped and worked. Dustin and his crew do amazing work! Right off the bat he saved us from picking a "hospital white" for the main walls and pointed us in the right direction and it turned out beautiful! The house originally had dark red and tan walls and the kitchen was maroon and yellow. It took Dustin and his crew only one day to paint the living area, entryway, two small halls, master bedroom (not in pictures but it turned out amazing) and kitchen. The attention to detail was so impressive! We wanted to have the teal cut off on a curved doorway and Dustin was "perfecting " it even when we couldn't see any flaws! My boyfriend did all the communicating but I know Dustin was super quick to respond! Him and his crew were all so friendly and beyond careful with moving things around! So happy I found Advanced Painting Systems. Most of the time I do my own painting...which isn't terrible, however my living room and dining room were a way bigger job then I was ready to take on. These guys were exceptional. Dustin helped me pick out a color and listened to me be extremely high maintenance about picking the perfect color. They were on time, respectful and got done in a reasonable amount of time. They moved furniture, took off cabinet doors and put up with certain quirks in my 100+ year old house. They cleaned up perfectly around the house after they were finished. They have incredible attention to detail when painting and prepping and they do not cut corners. I was so glad we chose them for our very large exterior repaint. Dustin was always clear about the work they did, what products they used, how they prepped, and what areas they found needed attention (dry rot on fascia boards and window trim, which I really appreciated since it's hard to know those things otherwise!). Not a man with integrity. He gave us a price we agreed and signed his "contract". He came back to us about 6 weeks later said he couldn't do it for the price we agreed to and signed a "contract" for, said "you can find someone else if you don't sign a contract with my new price". We did. After stringing us along for 3 months, he tells us 3 weeks before starting that he can't get the materials and we were naturally upset. He didn't like our "tone" and said he was cancelling our contract. this was all the doing of his own unprofessionalism and a lack of his word and integrity. Pretty shady character at best. read more

I recently completed the purchase of a home and quickly needed to have the interior repainted before moving in. After a painting company I had previously met and agreed to move forward with completely disappeared on me, I was left scrambling to find another in a very short period of time. I conducted a Yelp vender search which returned five local company names. Four of the five responded with three requesting additional information. Only Advanced Painting Systems responded with a phone number and request to contact them. I called the number and spoke to Dustin. I explained what I was looking to have done and shared that due to being left hanging by the first company I spoke with, I needed to have the work done within the next couple of weeks. Dustin was up front with me and told me he was booked out the next four weeks and couldn't start any sooner. Though it was going to make things inconvenient for me, I agreed to his timeframe. Dustin came out the next day, surveyed the conditions, and we agreed upon a price and start date. A few days later, Dustin contacted me to let me know that one of his bookings had decided to wait until Spring to do their job and that he now could start two weeks earlier than expected if I wanted him to. Of course, I was all over it! Dustin and his crew arrived punctually on the agreed upon start date. They completed the job in the timeframe we agreed upon and did a great job of cleaning up. I'm very pleased with the finished product! I would definitely recommend Advanced Painting Systems. In fact, I already have and he's doing a job for a neighborhood friend. They did what they said they would, in the timeframe they said they would. They are punctual, reliable, detailed and accommodating. We have been working with Dustin and his crew for the last few weeks. First we had them paint 5 rooms inside - including a 22' high ceiling, trim and doors. He and Joe showed up on time, and after explaining everything they got to work. I had a pre-existing issue with one of the doors, and Dustin took extra time to clear that up, which was much appreciated. The guys were friendly and I was comfortable having them in my home. It was obvious that both guys had an eye for detail. They completed the job well before expected, and tidied up the workspaces very well. Dustin and his team painted the interior of our home in October 2021, which included wallpaper removal & texturing in 1 bathroom (which came out well), 2 bathrooms will wallpaper sealed and painted over, 5 large rooms, most rooms including 10-foot ceilings, and hallways. He was reliable, easy to get in touch with, and flexible when we changed our minds completely a few times. Although the painting & sealing over wallpaper in a few bathrooms did not come out perfectly, it came out as he described it would and we made the decision to have it sealed over rather than removed and textured in those spots, so that's on us. The removal of wallpaper, texturing, and painting over came out well and now we know we prefer that to sealing & painting over wallpaper. The paint throughout the house was done to perfection and their team kept the main rooms we needed accessible to us with working from home and the job being 3 days long.
