Contacted Lighthouse made earliest available appointment which was about a two week wait. Two very polite guys came out said they didn't have the expertise to wash our windows because it has been newly remodeled and had some construction overspray, etc. I appreciate they didn't barrel forward and damage our new windows. Set up the second appointment with the "experienced crew"-had to wait another 5 weeks! Appointment was for 8am nobody shows up no phone call! Lighthouse didn't answer when I called. Finally a different guy shows up over an hour late no apology no crew. Completely different vibe from the first very polite team. Ask him when the rest of his team is coming he rudely says no idea maybe in the afternoon?! I had changed my entire day around for this cleaning and waited nearly two months. A company with integrity! We scheduled dryer vent cleaning. When the team arrived, they discovered that our vent did not need cleaning yet. They showed me the camera images so I could see for myself. They could have easily just done the cleaning and charged us full price. Instead, they only charged a reasonable inspection fee. We have used Lighthouse for window cleaning before, and been very satisfied. Although my home is not large, the windows are hard to reach because the house is built on a steep hill. I've managed with the Windex and garden hose technique for a decade+. The short version - these guys are great and should be hired immediately if you need your windows and gutters cleaned. They were communicative, prompt with arrival and incredibly thorough with their work. The long version - same as above, but I'll give you more detail. Paul and Carlos were both incredibly respectful to us and our home and treated our property with a level of respect most contractors don't provide. They had zero issue removing their shoes before they entered, something that seems trivial, but many contractors seem annoyed with. & they never had to be reminded once, despite going in and out of the house north of 20 times. Paul get's a special kudos for discussing everything with me once they arrived and for also being the most effective worker I've ever witnessed. If everyone operated with the same urgency and effort that Paul displayed, most of the worlds issues would be eliminated overnight. & the most incredibly part was that, despite the display of speed, he STILL managed to clean the windows and gutters better than other companies. It's rare to see that type of speed and efficiency at the same time, but Paul nailed it. He was even kind enough to quickly clean the mirrors in my garage gym, which is now a problem because I will never be able to match that crispy clarity ever again!
