She was very dismissive when telling a man why she couldn't sell a shoe. For me, I tried on a shoe, liked it, saw that it was $69.00 and since everything was 40% off, I decided to purchase. The price didn't seem right for 40% off so I looked at the receipt before leaving. I was right. The shoe rang up 40% off $74.99, not $69.99 like the sticker showed. She scanned it and said 'that sticker is wrong'. I look and the sticker and my receipt read the same shoe, as does her scanner. She then says that their scanner/reader had been having a trouble for a month and they were not able to scan all the shoes in the store..... WHAT, GIRL???? That makes no sense. She goes on to say she is unable to remove the stickers from a shoe..... WHAT????? Oh and she said I was like the third person to say something about the incorrect price. Now you are really unbelievable. So you KNOWINGLY are leaving stickers on shoe with the incorrect price, ringing them up and YOU KNOW ALL SALES ARE FINAL so you think there's nothing to be done. I said that's fine. I'll contact Corporate anecdotes Ms. Anastasia says 'you can do that' as if to she don't care what I do and continues to be occupied by her phone. I'd also add she handed a bag to a guy in my face, nearly hitting me and neither of them said excuse me as if passing ANYTHING in someone's face is acceptable behavior. If this store is offering to relocate employees, save your money and DON'T take Anastasia with you. She has terrible customer service skills and if it's one thing I do not tolerate is poor customer service when spending my hard earned money.

He looked on Stockx and saw the retro 9 sold once for $180, which that buyer lucked up because previous sales were $225 and up. He then proceeds to offer me $50 dollars for a brand new pair of retro 9 university's and $20 for the retro 2s. Like he really played in my face. I will never step foot in the low ball establishment.

My husband and I also checked out shirts from Chesapeake Bay Outfitters' own line, Rising Tide, which had a terrific feel to them. The store was organized and had great displays. We didn't have any awful customer service experiences but I will say no one greeted us or acknowledged us which is never good in a retail situation. I'm from the south and live in Ohio now, but this shop was reminiscent of the shops in the south. Classy and prices reasonable for the quality they carry, plus the staff were so hospitable. To differentiate between the two locations they are calling the downtown Annapolis store The Cottage on Main and the Severna Park store The Cottage in The Park. The inventory between the two stores seems very similar. I can almost always find something to buy at this great local, small business. Here are some of my most recent finds: - Avanti greeting cards often featuring funny animals. They are the best! - Keva leather jewelry. It's light and so comfortable to wear. - Farmhouse Fresh lotions and soaps. Great quality and not overbearing scents. - Hobo purses and wallets. Awesome colors, practical designs and yummy leather. - A variety of thoughtful and sweet baby gifts. Lots of pretty prints. - Boho bandeaus. I really like these for working out in the yard. - Rifle Paper Co. stemless drinking glasses. Seems great for anything. - Although not personally a favorite of mine, popular brands like Vera Bradley, Kendra Scott and Swig.
