They were amazing in that I showed up really quickly and they had my pick-up ready for me within 5 minutes. However, I think they may have sacrificed quality for speed. I should start off and say that I am am vegan so I got pad Thai without egg. It wasn't good. I put three sides of chili sauce on it and it is okay. I don't think it would be better with egg. Don't order pad Thai! My mom got drunken noodles and raves about them. The summer rolls are okay. The tomkar and tom yum are okay too. I love this place!! I have dined in and have done carry out and both were amazing!!! The place is tiny not much seating but very cozy. Must get the Thai egg rolls they are so yummy! I had pad Thai, crab Rangoon, and sweet and sour chicken delivered. Delivery was very fast-30 minutes approximately. Crab Rangoon was my favorite of the three although the others were very good too. Prices were reasonable. Would definitely order again! read more

I have called probably about 30 times tonight to call in an order. The phone was always busy. I'm thinking that it's off the hook. I love this restaurant, but, I don't know if I can go through the torture of calling endlessly and no one picking up. If I were to go there again, it will only be on off times. Great food, subpar atmosphere. I've eaten in and had delivery both in the last month. Both experiences were very tasty. My groups ordered (red and green) curries, a couple of the noodle dishes including pad thai and drunken noodles, fried rice, garlic tofu, tom yum soup, summer rolls, and crab rangoon. All was delicious, and the menu items rated with two-chilies have a nice level of spice to them, without sacrificing flavor. The interior of the restaurant is over-bright. Points for BYOB, but one of the four wine glasses we received wasn't quite clean. In other words, get take out or delivery - don't eat in! read more

Just received my order. The little old man who delivered my food was such a sweetheart. Despite my mistake of putting in my neighbors address on accident he apologized multiple times and seemed really grateful for my business. I ordered a Thai iced tea, lard nar noodles, and pot stickers. Everything was packaged so well and tasted fresh and amazing. The pot stickers were a little crispy and light. Not too greasy. The lard nar was packaged so that the noodles and gravy mix were seperate. The gravy was wonderfully thick and garlic-y. read more

Most of it was pretty good except for they went a little basil crazy. I don't know if thai food normally has that much basil but they put the basil flowers as well in my summer roll and I couldn't eat it because all I tasted was basil. read more

Can't complain about the food but the costumer service is the pits! We went in thinking we would have an enjoyable family meal but it turned out to be all the contrary. Our waitress was flat out rude! She made faces every time we asked for silverware or water. She even had the nerve to tell my seven year old not to disrupt the other costumers when she was sitting there quietly coloring! I used to love coming here but I am not paying good money for a person to roll her eyes at me and scold my child. That is simply unacceptable, I don't care who you are!! read more

Great food but poor customer service. Tip to anyone ordering for delivery. Ask for silverware. I ordered delivery and received no cutlery. When I called the restaurant they was rude and belligerent when I asked if it comes with delivery. Their response was, We're busy, what do you want me to do?" My fiance and I just had dinner at Fine Thai tonight and were extremely impressed with the food. We recently moved to the suburbs from Bucktown. One of the things that made the move sad was leaving an area so flooded with many of Chicago's best restaurants within walking distance. We have been slowly venturing out into our new neighborhood looking for places that can compete with the restaurants that were spoiled with in the city. We have found a strong contender! Fine Thai is probably one of the best Thai restaurants I have tried and I have tried many. Not only was their food incredibly flavored, it was very reasonably priced. There are only a few tables in the restaurant and only one server/hostess but that did not in any way distract from the service whatsoever. Approximately ten people arrived at the same time and from my observation everyone got great service and in a short amount of time as well. We tried the Crab Wontons which were excellent, chicken salad ( spicy ground chicken salad with lime and cilantro aka Larb Kai) Pad Woon Sen, and 2 shrimp dishes that I cannot recall the Thai names for. Everything was amazing and so fresh! I am a very picky seafood eater. If anything tastes remotely fishy to me it's a deal breaker. Needless to say, the shrimp was very fresh and huge! Same goes for the scallops as well. I cannot say enough about how good the food is. One would be crazy to go to Thipi Thai in downtown La Grange over Fine Thai in Brookfield.( Was not at all impressed with Thipi Thai's extremely greasy and overpriced food). I am so glad that we found Fine Thai in Brookfield. It makes me miss the City less and less everyday :) read more

Love Thai food, so I was really excited when this place opened close to home. We order it for take out and have always enjoyed the food and service. Usually order the 5 star plus tofu or the red curry. They will spice it up for you if you request it. We have never sat in the dining room, so can't speak to the service while dining in. I really wanted to like this place. We just moved to Brookfield and I was excited to see a Thai restaurant nearby with such high ratings. I should have taken the hint when every time we drove by the place was empty. I can only conclude that most people that rate this place highly have never had good thai food. I can't comment on the service as we ordered take-out, but the food was miserable. We ordered Potstickers, Chicken Pad Thai, and Chicken with Peanut sauce. The potstickers were pretty good- nice crunch, tasty sauce, but the stuffing was just ok- not really recognizable. My husband is notoriously picky about pad thai, so even though he wasn't impressed, I gave it a try- it was completely tasteless and dry. He raided our kitchen attempting to spice it up and it was still bland. But the chicken with peanut sauce was just plain awful. I honestly thought they may have dumped a jar of Skippy on some chicken and served it to me. It was sickeningly sweet and had no other flavor. read more

Absolutely horrible. Called in a pick up order for 2 chicken pad Thais. Seems simple enough, however, when we brought the order back to work we found it was two orders of shrimp pad Thai. We immediately called them to inform them of the mistake and they simple said "no it's ok. It's good for you". Now luckily we aren't allergic to shrimp, but simply don't enjoy it, and therefor didn't order it. She refused to correct the order and continued to say "it's ok, keep it. It's good too!" I have been to this place couple of times and it was alright. Tonight was different story though... It was a small girls night out (four of us). It's a byob restaurant, so we brought the wine, we ordered the appetizers (which came fairly quickly). The dinners we ordered were coming in on much slower pace and there was atleast 15 min wait between the first dinner that showed up and the last one. That didn't bother us though, we didnt even complain to each other about it. We were too busy laughing, talking and catching up... What bothered us and was so unexpected is that already "lame" waitres approached us and asked us to leave because she has to clean the table for a reservation!!!!!WHAT!!!!. First of all they don't except reservations and she already had 2 almost clean tables available. The tables were not by the window but so what!? After discussing between us, no one had ever been asked to leave a restaurant before in their lives. We didnt know what to think, besides- who does this?? They obviously don't value their customers. None of us are ever going back. If you decide to go make sure you eat , pay and get out! read more

I love this restaurant and all the curry dishes are amazing especially the Mussuman. Except this dish comes with potatoes and they are usually hard as a rock. They really need to cook the potatoes or just don't get them next time. I order a veggie mussuman with nothing but veggies and it's delicious. Their Pad Thai is wonderful and the spicey basil fried rice is out of this world. I like the crab rangoons here as well but sometimes they deep fry them to long and they are hard around the edges. I am a huge fan of this place but think a few things need to be tweaked. read more

The woman was very rude. Three of us went in for dinner, she told us there was no room, so we said we would wait. We asked to look at menus and she told us we should get it to go in a very rude, very unwelcoming tone. Once a table cleared up, she purposely wouldn't clean it. It was a terrible experience! I went to this restaurant today with not so high expectations, as it was my first time eating Thai food outside the city. Pleasantly surprided!!! My lunch date and I ordered the Summer Rolls (Super fresh and delicious with tasty sauce), Chicken Satay (pretty tasty also with a nice cucumber and carrot side salad), Chicken Pad Thai (just as good if not better than all other pad thai's I've tried), and Green Curry (The best part of the meal - ordered it to lower the spice a bit, even though I think normal would have been just fine!). The presentation was very asthetic and fresh looking, the service was pretty good, the restaurant was clean, and the food was definitely better than average. So for a little place tucked away on Ogden Avenue in Brookfield, I'm giving this place a thumbs up. Cute, clean, good service, good food. I had the peanut noodle with tofu. I asked for medium heat. I got no heat. Zero. Well, no problem, that's what chili sauce is for. Once I got my heat on, it was devine. It covered up the slight coconut flavor (one food I do not like is coconut) perfectly. Had brocolli, peppers, peapods. Fresh carrots and cabbage, sort of reminded me of Pai Thai. For $7.95, I'll be back. My husband had the yellow curry, potatoes and bell peppers, served over rice. I had a little taste and it was really good. Again, not a coconut fan.... I think I should go spend 3 or 4 weeks in Thailand to try to get over this 'coconut' thing I got going on! Anyway, the menu has some great choices. I'll be back to try some soups. Seems to have a mix of traditional thai and americanized thai. Something for everyone. read more

We had an amazing green curry, outstanding tofu w/basil egg plant, good pad Thai, fragment ginger pork, orange chicken (kids), super summer rolls & shrimp shumi. The hostess/waitress was very friendly & brought plenty of water. She gave us extra rice with our carry out. We brought our own beer with us which saved a bundle. I called multiple times to check and their responses were he just left and he will be there in five minutes. REALLY?? This is not how one runs a restaurant. So glad we decided to try this place. We had the shu mai and chicken satay for apps, hubby had green curry with pork, I had drunken noodles. Excellent. I had leftovers for lunch the next day. This place is SMALL, maybe enough tables for 20 diners. If you want to dine in, get there early ( b/4 5pm)or later (after 7pm)in the evening. A friend and I have gone here MANY times because it's a convenient place for us to meet for dinner. She loves Thai food and she was happy enough with the food that we put up with the God-awful service. But a couple months ago when the server actually rolled her eyes at us when we asked for water, that was it. We've found somewhere else to meet and will not be going back to Fine Thai.
