S3. Vegetable Soup

This place is incredible!! A true hidden gem. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about the menu and the food is very vegan friendly. My waitress was so sweet and made me feel extremely welcome. The interior is small but cute. I will definitely be back!

Found this Thai place less than a mile from our apartment. It's just a little shop but it was clean and the server was very attentive and good at refilling our drinks quickly. We shared the Thai Eggrolls, the Peanut Noodles with Chicken and the Drunken Noodle with Beef. I am a huge lover of peanut sauce and this dish did not disappoint. The flavor was on spot and it came with lots of vegetables. The Drunken Noodle was full of vegetables, too. Great flavor and quick service. Next time, we might try carry out. It seems like the majority of their business is to go.

Shrimp N1. Pad Thai Noodles

Placed my first delivery order, it came on time, steamy hot and fresh! Shrimp on the pad Thai had a nice char on it and dish overall seasoned just right! Chicken satay missing some flavor, but not a deal breaker.

Drunken noodles with a post-Valentines veggie heart, aww :3

This restaurant was chosen entirely due to location (i.e. it's next door to the Galloping Ghost Arcade, which was our destination for the day), but it ended up being a good option. Most of their service must be take out, since there are ony like 8 tables (but in an immaculate setting: mint green walls, white table cloths and dark red napkins). On a frosty Saturday evening we were the only diners, though some orders were coming in by phone. No surprise, our meals came up fast! Our crab ragoon was crispy and hot, the melting centers of cream cheese a decadent indulgence (though seemingly devoid of anything else). Our entrees (drunken noodles for him, panang curry chicken for me) were both great, and came garnished with heart-shaped vegetables (presumably a carry-over from Valentines Day the day before). If you'd like an alcoholic beverage, you can BYOB. This is a distant destination for me on its own, but I would definitely return on my next return to the arcade!

The spring rolls, pad thai and salmon curry were fresh and flavorful! Hope to be back in the area soon so I can take my wife there!

We came here last minute on a Saturday afternoon The…read morerestaurant was open and there was one family inside but we waited to almost five minutes until the waiter came inside the restaurant Ascetically, the restaurant looks nice and clean. They have a cute barn door style for private dinning ( I assumed ) the doors were open. Once seated word the back of the restaurant we could hear people in the kitchen and found it odd no one had come out from the back This guy was alone manning the front of the restaurant We didn't blame him but service was less than adequate We had tea and the tea kettle was cute but needed a good washing There Long wait for food but we expected as much. We were juts excited to try a different place Egg drop soup and crab Rangoon were our top choices. Mongolian beef was not made spicey as requested and did lack flavor I would recommend the shrimp fried rice , it really lacked flavor.

This was a last minute decision for the four of us and we were so happy we chose Shang Noodle…read more One of our party wanted Thai but the reviews prompted us here. The restaurant is pleasant with booths, tables and several private rooms for larger parties. There is an adequate cocktail, wine, beer and beverage list and we were happy with the Pinot noir we selected. There is a good variety of items -from dim sum to mini hot pots, classics, appetizers and mains. One of our party is vegan and he had many choices. We ordered spicy edamame, chicken pot stickers, chicken wings (the only dish I didn't especially like), hot and sour soup, vegan mayo tofu, chicken chow main with homemade noodles (more like lo mein), Yushan eggplant (stellar!), and Mongolian beef. The service was attentive, charming and not overbearing. We found the prices reasonable, especially in light of the quality. I highly recommend this restaurant.

So sad to learn that you went out of business in the last month. You were really delicious. I do…read moreknow every time I went in there. There was a teenager running in the place unless the average teenager isn't gonna build a business.

Hey fellow Yelp users! I went to Forbidden Noodles in La Grange on 7/17/24 (Wednesday) with my…read morebestie. This was my first time coming here so I didn't know what to expect. My bestie has been here a few times, so I went with the Ramen should recommended I should get. Forbidden Noodles definitely exceeded the expectations I didn't have. Food: I ordered a pork tonkotsu with miso instead of the tonkotsu ($14.99). Since I was treating myself that day, I also decided to try their cream cheese rangoon with their spicy mayo ($3.99 for 3 pieces) and it was absolutely delicious! Honestly a great combo! Atmosphere: I loved the atmosphere. I went on a really hot day, so it felt nice walking into the cold. The place had low lighting which gave it a warm and cozy aesthetic. Perfect place for a date or catch up lunch/dinner. Customer Service: I thought the customer service was great. The cashier that took my order was really nice. She even brought out cups of water for me & my bestie even though neither of us asked for any. Parking: There's a parking lot, parking garage, & street parking which is all FREE. Street parking is hit or miss, so I totally recommend parking at the parking lot or parking garage. Overall Experience: Overall, I had a good experience at Forbidden Noodles. I would highly recommend this place if you're craving some Ramen but want to skip the trip going to Chinatown (although Chinatown does have a good chunk of Ramen spots). You can even watch a movie before or after grubbing at Forbidden Noodles at the nearby Classic Cinemas La Grange Theatre. I hope this review helps Forbidden Noodles & its current and future customers. Have an amazing day!
