Well in regards to the ambience since I came from the Morton arboretum I didn't want to go all the way to Oak Park and was craving for Thai food I look this up on Google. Service was okay and friendlier as most Thai restaurants are but this is not a real formal or not even a big place to dine in. they do a lot of carryout or delivery however they have like four tables with two chairs on each one of the table. I would not suggest having a party here. The fish cake as an appetizer was irresistibly delicious and fresh. The traditional tom kha was also phenomenally delicious but my only question is I don't remember onions and any ingredient Thai cuisine? We did get it right with the baseline the mushrooms and all the other ingredients as well as lemongrass. Not too spicy. My favorite was the Thai iced tea as usual whenever I go to a Thai restaurant. And instead of getting my traditional red or Penang Curry I went for the chicken spicy basil it was surprisingly delicious and to me it was enough to satisfy me for dinner. Again they put onions which I do question if that's A native ingredient in Thailand versus scallions. Anyways if you're just coming alone or just coming on a date this would be the place although don't expect it to be very big and formal if you plan to come as a family or a big party it's not a big thai restaurant. I guess the only cater for small guests and the majority of the customers are just carry out or delivery

The food and service were amazing ! Chanya was so attentive and courteous and our food was fantastic. We ordered Panang Curry and Pad Thai, both were delicious!

    Veggie spring rolls. Good stuff!

On this day, I am sick. I have a cold. I don't feel well. I need something to help me feel better. Something hot and delicious. I know just the thing. Soup. And the soup from here does the trick indeed. Chicken Rice Soup. It has everything I need in a soup: Thai jasmine rice, minced chicken, green onion, cilantro, ginger and mixed vegetables in chicken broth. Now before you go crazy, I am in no way saying this soup gets rid of a cold. But it is a good start. I know you are asking if you have a cold, then why did you get the veggie spring rolls? I'm greedy.

Overly salted Thai food that was too expensive and lack luster in flavor. Would not recommend and quite confused about the good reviews.

Good drunken noodles and basil chicken. Flat noodles were nice and spicy, wish it had more veggies though.

It was the perfect opportunity to try a variety of items. Here is what we ordered: Thai iced tea (4) Egg roll, vegetarian (4) Chicken satay (2) Pad see eiw w/beef (2) Crispy Thai noodles w/tofu (2) Green curry with tofu (2) Basil seafood with extra seafood mix (2) Mixed veggie stir-fry with shrimp (2) Mango and sticky rice (4) Overall, we were satisfied with the flavor profiles and everything was delivered in an efficient manner. The portions are not large and I think we would order two more entrees when we revisit with our large group of 14. We have had mango and sticky rice many times in the past. This is our first time having it with a purple-bluish color sticky rice. I don't think it made much difference with the flavors but the kids were turned off by it and refused to try. Then again, kids are sporadic and we can never truly tell what appeals to them. The mango was not ripe but this was back in March when mangos were not in season. Otherwise, we would definitely return and we are eager to try the other items such as crispy catfish curry and pepper squid.

I ordered pad see eu with tofu and vegetables and my husband got pad Thai with chicken. The food was pretty good however a little on the dry side - could have used a little more sauce. The servers were also genuinely friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I'd go back to.

The menu for the Thai food looked pretty similar to most Thai places with the exception of the sushi. I had to get my regular pad see ew. The flavor was good with not too much heat. It was just enough. Not much I would want to change. Maybe I would ask for a little more heat. I also tried a little of my friends pad Thai with beef. The beef was a little tough, but overall not bad. I liked that the dish was not dry at all. From the Thai dishes, I would say that the food is pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way for it, but would come back if I was in the area. Some of the sushi rolls seemed to be a bit pricy in my opinion, but maybe I'll try one next time just to try it.

Baisi Thai is actually a pretty nice looking one, even though it's clearly run on the cheap. Maybe the food isn't as nice as the pictures, and maybe the portions aren't as big as they let on. The food still tasted better than we thought it would be though. Came at lunch. It was quiet and there was no one else eating inside, which could have been a bad sign. This was also on the weekend. Maybe it's just because of the location. This is on 63rd a ways from the shopping center with Mariano's and stuff. Boring looking area. It's about $11 for an entree. Good prices, cheaper than at many other Thai restaurants apparently. I got the Pad Kee Mao. This is flat rice noodles with basil, garlic, and mixed vegetables. Choose a protein. I got tofu. Good spice but it was a pretty small portion. She got the Pad Thai. Again, small portion. That's why it was so cheap it seems. Better than expected as far as flavor, as it can get pretty hot. It's overall good with the only bad thing about it is they skimp on the portions. There's plenty of choices for vegans and vegetarians.

The staff checked to make sure eggs were OK and pointed out that the egg rolls contain chicken. We got the spring roll, pad kee mao and the pad thai, a Thai iced coffee (they brought tea, oops) and a Squirt soda. Service was friendly and fairly quick. The spring roll, as others have noted, was falling apart. It appeared to be fried tofu, bean sprouts and maybe some bok choy, so it was mostly a textural experience. We weren't crazy about the sweet brown sauce it was drizzled with. The pad kee mao was noted as "spicy" but it wasn't. It had a nice variety of vegetables, though I could see but not really taste the basil and the broccoli was a bit undercooked. It was fine, but not very flavorful. The pad thai was basically noodles and fried tofu with the usual accoutrements (peanuts; lime; bean sprouts); not sure if they forgot to add the egg after we said it was OK. Overall, fine if you're local but not worth a special trip, at least not for the noodle dishes. $45 including tip.

The lunch special is available weekdays from 11am-2pm, come with appetizer of the day and the entree of your choice from a list. It's a family owned restaurant, they are friendly from the time I've picked u my food. They are also available on Uber eats I' believe. But so far these are the items I have tried: 5/5 stars: Egg drop soup- there egg drop soup is so good and unique! I have to be in the mood for this soup but they add veggies in theirs which I love. However, it's a little pricey for a vegetarian soup. I think the large is $10! 2.5/5 stars: Crab Rangoon- they look like money bags, which I've had before in a Thai restaurant. I don't know what it is about their crab Rangoon's however I feel like they're almost very bland and you can't really taste the flavor of crab Rangoon, which is why I gave that rating. 5/5 stars: Chicken Pad See Eiw- absolutely love this dish it's full of flavor, veggies and protein. 5/5 stars: Chicken Penang Curry- it's one of the most underrated Currys, but it's very good a little sweet a little hot. Served with white rice it's definitely a good try. What I love about this place is I've asked for a higher spice level and they have delivered! I cannot wait to try more items from this restaurant and I will report back hopefully.
