I had my wedding dress altered a few weeks before my wedding! It needed a lot of length taken off and a couple inches taken from the waist.. he also had to create a bustle! I can not recommend this business enough! The price was great for the amount of work that was done, and the quality of the work was impeccable! Fine tailor was recommended to me by a friend. I needed minor alterations on a dress I had gotten online. When I got up to the counter he said it would be 97 DOLLARS and that I was to retrieve the dress A WEEK LATER. I would understand the cost if I was asking for the dress the next day (MAYBE) but that high of a price PLUS waiting an entire week just to get the back taken in a little? NO WAY! I came here because it seemed to be the tailor in my area with the best reviews and I knew my bridesmaid dress's top half was going to be tricky. The first time I went I was advised to buy cups to sew in, which I did. To take in the sides of the bust and sew in the cups came right at 100 dollars, which I think is ridiculous considering that if I wanted to hem the dress as well it would have been an extra 75. I know bridesmaids dresses are expensive but 175 for basic alterations? That's outrageous. When I picked up my dress a week later, the sides of the bust were still way too big and it made the entire bust sag. None of it fit right. I told the tailor this and all he kept telling me was "that's where you put it" (referring to the cups) and gave me a pretty similar answer for the sides. I told him I wasn't comfortable in the dress and it didn't fit right and he pinned the sides to where it finally fit and then said it was going to be an extra charge because it was different from what he'd done before. I paid up because I needed the dress to fit. My brother picked up my dress the next time, 2 days before the wedding, and I could only try it on after they had closed because of work and travel. The waist was now extremely tight and the busts sides were still kind of open. I could zip up the dress but it was extremely difficult to breathe in. I'm angry I paid over 150 dollars for this dress in alterations and that I am still so uncomfortable in it. I wish the tailor had given me more of his input during the alterations process rather than having me guess what was going to make the dress work and then telling me "that's where you put it" when it didn't fit right. I liked that he was quick and also nice, but I wouldn't bring anything like a dress here again because of the price and the quality of work read more

I was desperately searching for a tailor that could alter some dress pants in less than a day - an almost impossible task, I quickly found out. I called this place and the guy told me he could get it done by by the time I needed if I rushed over there. I got there and he was very nice and polite - my pants got marked up and that was it. I came back the next day to pick them up and pay, and the work was incredibly well done, and the pants hung perfectly. And it was very affordable! Came here because the Bridal shop I purchased my gown from recommended it and I am so blessed that I choose it! The gentleman than runs the shop is incredibly kind and talented. He had my dress finished in a week (other places told me it could be up to 5 weeks). He steamed it and did a beautiful bustle on it. And allowed me to bring it back after my Bridal photography to have it steamed. Wonderful service and he really worked with my work schedule for pick up / drop off times. After the wedding I plan on bringing a couple pairs of jeans up to have the length altered. read more

I found this place on yelp and it came very recommended. The staff was friendly and very thorough, as well as professional. My fitting of my shirts that I took was done in a fast and highly skilled manner. The only issue I had with this establishment was that they charged about 40% more than the others establishments that I called. I did receive my shirts in a timely manner but be aware of their prices before you decide to make too many modifications. It could become a costly endeavor. read more

Went to this establishment hoping to get help with a dress. Not only were we completely ignored when we first walked in, the owner pretty much was rude to me about tailoring my dress. He took an awful bridesmaid dress that another tailor told me they could do nothing with and made it work. They didn't have it in my size, and he had to take it out a lot, but he took the time to expand it on the sides and make it hardly noticeable at all.
