My wife needed a formal dress taken in and shortened for a wedding. Pleasant fitting and the dress was complete in 2 days.

I went in to get a neck tie shortened and brought another tie to show them the exact length I needed. When I picked up the tie I realized they took off 8"'instead of 4". When I brought this to their attention I was yelled at and told it was my mistake. She went on to deny I brought a sample tie in to show her exactly what I wanted. I have been to this place dozens of times over the last two years and I rarely get the service requested. Multiple times original stitching had never been removed. This last time I paid $11 for 50¢ iron on patches from Walmart. This also took 10 days to get done. My wife took her wedding dress here years ago and had similar issues. Avoid at all cost. read more

I purchased a cocktail dress on clearance that needed to be altered. I am a size 0. I purchased a size 10. The tailor did what she was "able to do" but told me the dress was too big to ever fit me. I spent twice as much on alterations than I did on the designer dress itself hoping she could work some magic. The dress still does not fit and hangs on me like a bag. I had to take out my own sewing machine at home to finish off the work they were unable to do. Lesson learned. read more

First time I used them I called to ask the price to have a pair of pants hemmed. I was told $5. When I got there they told me $10 and that that was the price they always charged. Whatever, I paid it. I should have learned my lesson from this experience. But I didn't. The next time I took a suit in and asked if it could be let out to fit me. I was told that it could be done because there was plenty of material left to let it out. $34 for the jacket and $16 for the pants $50 total. I agreed. When they finished, neither the jacket nor the pants fit. They claimed to have let it out all the way. Well the difference was about 1/4" maybe. Not enough to fit me or even make a difference. Definitely not worth the $50. They should have told me upfront it would be a waste of money. Due to 2 bad experiences, I cannot recommend them to anyone. Go somewhere else. read more

The ladies there are very nice and extremely helpful. They do a great job every time. I have tried several tailors, but they also seem to always get me the best fit. Also, I have asked for rushes items before and they have always came through above expectations. I drive past several other reputable tailors to use them. read more

I've had several issues with this place, but today was the last straw. They were so rude before they even knew what service we needed. We were all but turned away because they didn't seem to want to work. The woman behind the counter would not even stand up and walk over to us. She shouted from across the room. This lady did my wedding dress for $70. Which was very reasonable. More recently she did a bridesmaid dress for a friend that had minor alterations in length and in shoulders for $40 reasonable, she also did two bridesmaid dresses for $40 which is very reasonable yet pricing doesn't seem consistent, at the same time she did a bridesmaid dress for me, let me just mention it was the same dress which the dress cost me $100, she charged me $80 for minor alterations! This blew my mind. The inconsistency and the lying is completely unacceptable. When I questioned her on it she was of course in no wrong. I continued to explain how inconsistent and not right this is. She refused to do anything about it. I then let her know that her customer service is far from decent and that I assured her I would not be using her services nor recommending her to anyone, she continued to yell at me over the phone and tell me she does care and that she has enough clients and proceeds to hang up on me. With that said and needless to say, I'm warning you all to never use this business. They are inconsistent and are not fair in anyway with their pricing and when you want alterations done a certain way she refuses to consider your request and she does it the way she wants.
