She fixed it expertly without a word as I watched, and then asked me to pay what I felt it was worth. Dona is the best alteration you can find. A Russian business owner really knows how to find your right measurements without making your outfit a disaster. She's really good at alterating uniforms and dresses. She may have trouble understanding english but she gets the job done. We tried other sewing and alterations shop even the best ones with Asian owned but no one is good as her in Fort Worth. I've also noticed that it seems most of her clients are middle class. In this pandemic situation, she is currently accepting cash only when she used to accept credits and she will not accept clothes until it's washed. I would recommend this business. read more

I came by to see if they could repair my gym bag that was coming apart at the seems. A quick look then she took it to the back and told me to wait. This is a very small, simple alteration facility. Nothing fancy, but darn good work. Dona is a sweet lady who takes her time with your needs, and extremely affordable. Simple Tailor shop, pretty sure it's a one woman business. Dona is nice enough, English as a second language. She does take credit cards with a fee, however her credit card slider wasn't working so she had me put everything in manually. I had two pair of pants shortened up. When getting fitted she wanted to hem them at floor floor length which is common, especially for dress pants, these were work pants though and I wanted them an inch longer and the accommodated as I requested. I'll be sure to go back whenever I need something fixed as my wife refuses to sew. read more

I took a bridesmaides dress in for alterations. I needed some length taken off the bottom and the shoulder straps taken in a little. After I got my pins in she let me know it'd be a little longer than normal to have my dress ready due to prom season. Dona rules!!! I brought in a backpack and a bunch of oddly shaped patches I wanted sewn on and I wanted to pick it up the same day. She first expressed concern about being able to get to most of the areas with a sewing machine, but said she would try. She ended up getting every single patch on in the places I had pinned them and did an amazing job! Also, I couldn't believe how inexpensive it was! Since I was expecting it to cost more, and she did such quality work on something somewhat difficult on short notice, I gave her a tip as well. :) I will definitely be back if I need anything else! I'm in 3 weddings during a 6 month time frame. I've bought all 3 bridesmaids dresses at David's Bridal. For the first dress, I had alterations done at David's. I went into David's Bridal with my second dress for alterations and after about an hour of them pinning up my dress... they gave me my quote which was ridiculously high. I ended up walking out with my dress and decided to shop around for another alterations place. Since I live in the area, I decided to try out Dona. Her price was a THIRD of the cost from what David's was going to charge me! I picked up my bridesmaids dress yesterday from Dona and it came out fabulous! She had to take some inches off the length and the stitching looks nice and professionally done. I could not be happier! Just picked up my suit the other day. The owner did a fine job. My suit needed a lot of work done to it and she delivered. The price was very affordable. They take cash, checks and card. She does charge extra if you pay with your card however. I highly recommend her for any alterations done. read more
