Took some pants to get it hem up but they were crooked and the length were not even , kinda disappointed, even the sewing was crooked .

TLDR: wouldn't recommend. They failed to complete my alterations when they said they would for my wedding dress. Used them previously and it was great but something has clearly changed. Full story: I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at Lee's Cleaning & Alterations. I brought my wedding dress in on 9/3/24 for alterations and was told it would be ready by 9/26/24. They promised to call, but I never heard from them. On 9/27/24, I had to call *them* for an update, and was told I'd receive a callback, which never happened. After calling again, I was told the dress would be ready after 4 PM. I arrived at 6 PM, and they tried to send me home with the dress without trying it on--very odd! I tried it on, and I'm so glad I did. They only completed the bustle. The hem was untouched, and the snaps I had requested for the sleeves were never added--yet they charged me for all of this when I brought it in. While I was in the store, I overheard the staff talking in the back. A man asked the woman why she hadn't put down the rest of the work on my dress ticket that needed to be done and her response was, "I don't know, I guess I'm just crazy." Completely unprofessional. I will say things got handled in the end(picked it up on 9/28/24 - 2 days after promised completion) and it was determined that the woman in the front dropped the ball by not writing what needed to be done to my dress(but she pinned the places that needed alterations). So I wouldn't say she's 100% to blame but clearly they need to change their system or communicate better with their orders. I've used this place before and even gave them glowing reviews and recommended them constantly to others, but something has clearly changed. The quality and customer service have declined drastically. I'm just disappointed and wouldn't recommend this place anymore. IF you do go here I STRONGLY encourage you to tell them you need your item a week earlier than you actually need it in order to be safe. read more

They are incapable of hemming jeans properly. After 5 trips, they refused to remedy. Good luck in trying to communicate as one woman doesn't speak English properly. read more

DO NOT GET ANYTHING DONE HERE. I got my suit "cleaned" they didn't remove any stains and it somehow smelled worse then when I dropped it off. they denied me a refund, even though they didn't do anything to my suit. They don't even clean it in house, they send it to a different dry cleaner and charge you extra as a middle man. this place is a scam. read more

The workers are very kind and try their best. My bridesmaids dress had to be fixed twice because the first time they took in too much and then the second time let out too much. They were quick with the last fix and made sure it was perfect for me. I'm giving a three star because of the dress thing and because the first time I came to get my stuff they were searching for it for 10 minutes because it wasn't hanging. It was just sitting on a table in the back. Overall they're really nice and hard working, but just a little disorganized. read more

Brought in 14 shirts. Just to get starched and pressed. They are all wrinkled. They have all been unevenly starched. Most had starch build up that looked like boogers on them. They creased the collars and continue creasing over the top of the button fabric. One had button burns and appears dirty now. Will never be back, will never suggest them to anyone. Took two suit jackets, a pair of pants in and a dress shirt for dry cleaning. Needed the cuffs on the jackets hemmed and pant legs tapered. My clothes were not ready on the day they were promised. They were not ready the next morning either. I had to pick them up in the afternoon as soon as they were finished and barely had time to try on one of the jackets before I had to leave for an event. The jacket cuff alterations are done pretty poorly and the shirt didn't even seem to be starched. Took over a week, spent over $100 and the quality was not top notch. Would not recommend coming back. Go anywhere else because alterations will be cheaper and probably better and you'll hopefully get them when they promise them. read more

I brought my wedding dress here after I had bought it online and it was too small in the back/butt area and wouldn't zip at all. Another alterations place told me there was nothing that could be done. But this place saved my dress! They added in a corset in the back and let it out where they could. They also tightened it in the back area and now it fits perfectly! My dress is stunning! And they were so affordable! Also the customer service was amazing. I couldn't recommend them more. read more

I just got my wedding dress altered here and I honestly have to say please choose somewhere else. I gave them my dress in January and needed bra cups, bustle, taken in 6 inches and sew belt on. I told them I needed my dress done before April so I could take my bridal pictures. When I called to go pick up my dress in April, Lee told me he was going to start working on my dress that day... THAT DAY!! When I went to try on the dress, they forgot the bra cups and it was still 2 inches too big so I had to return my dress to them and I gave them 1 week to fix it before the wedding and they waited until the day I needed the dress to work on it AGAIN!! I was really upset that they waited until the last minute to work on my dress, BUT the bustle and belt were great! My dress was still too big on my wedding day so it was falling down on me all night wish I had a better experience here Paid $400 for bustle, bra cups, take up length, sew belt on, take in sides by 7 inches. I took my wedding dress to Lee's and they did a fantastic job with everything. I got it hemmed, taken in around the bust, removed a layer, cups added, bustle, and they noticed that my zipper was detached so they fixed that as well. I thought I wanted a ballgown bustle but the seamstress showed me one that would be more flattering for the dress and she was right! They took their time during the consultation, I didn't feel rushed. They got my dress done within a reasonable amount of time and it fit like a glove! The people there were super nice. I rarely give 1 star reviews because I try to be understanding. But my experience warranted this one star. I had taken 3 shirts in for a more custom fit on the sleeves and to bring in the torso to give a more athletic fit. When I first entered I didn't feel welcomed, the receptionist made me feel like I was a bother. I really wanted my shirts done so I shook it off. They told me it would be a week, so fast forward a week for pick up I picked up my shirts and took them home without trying them on because it was busy. When I got home to try them on, everything I told them seemed to be out the window, in short it looked like something my grandma would have done on short notice, they bunched the sleeve up and sewed that part together, but left the bunched up fabric inside the sleeve. The sleeve lengths on two shirts were uneven, it was a nightmare. When I brought them back the guy working told me he'd have to take them for another two days. I became visibly upset at this point and all of a sudden he could fix it in an hour. Thank god for the cigar bar next door. This Shop was voted best in north Texas but I do not see how. I will not go back to this store ever again. I don't recommend them to you either. read more

I took my pants here and they were hemmed perfectly! I got the magic hem where the pants are cut at the bottom then the original hem is sewed on top of the hemmed section. I also bought a dress that was 2 sizes too large. I asked the owner to alter my dress and she did it perfectly! The dress is comfortable and looks amazing. Both items only cost me less than $30. I called ahead and asked if the owner Syed was there because I had a multi layer dress I wanted pinned by him because I had had trouble before when his assistants had helped me. The girl on the phone said yes he was there. I said I was on my way and would be there within an hour. Arrived within that hour and Syed was at the counter. He greeted me and told me to go into the fitting room to try on my dress. While I was getting into the dress he left. The girl who was there when I came out- TIARA has the WORST attitude I've ever experienced. When she was unable to assist with the dress she suggested I return when Syed was here. I said I did come in and he left. She said well it sounds like you don't want us to serve you and you should go somewhere else. I said no it sounds like you don't want to serve me! I asked if Syed would be back and she called and said it would be 20 minutes. I waited and tried the dress. He was also unable to help. When I was leaving I said to Tiara I'm not disappointed you couldn't help with the dress I'm disappointed in your attitude. You where very rude to me and it's poor business to tell customers to go elsewhere at the drop of a hat. She said "did I ask? You can leave. And have the day you're gonna have." Wow. She said to come in and they would look at the dress and let me know if it could be altered. I went today (Tuesday 1 day later) and was told they wouldn't even look at the free to see what alterations needed to be done! DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT TAKE YOUR WEDDING DRESS HERE!! Let me start off by saying they told me to come in one day for a dress fitting and rescheduled me. Went in on the new date and it still wasn't ready and to come back. During my first fitting there was a black mark on my train. They assured me they could get it out and to not worry about it. Went back for my second fitting to find the stains had gotten worse and the stitching was coming loose. I complained that this dress was brand new and they offered to reimburse me for having it cleaned. I got the dress cleaned and went back with the receipts for reimbursement to only get reimbursed for a portion of it. I wasn't planning on having the dress cleaned because it was in perfect condition when I dropped it off. Now I have paid this place $300 for alterations and have loose stitching in the back, leaving me looking elsewhere to get the job done. I complained to the staff and left in tears due to poor communication, unprofessionalism, and disappointment. Save yourself the stress and avoid this place at all costs!!! read more

It was the worst experience. They did the alterations and then cleaned and presses it. Whoever they sent it off to, they shrunk my bridesmaid dress. And every alteration they did, nothing fit afterward. The guy had the audacity to ask if I had gained a lot of weight. Blaming on me! So rude and so unprofessional. You don't say that to a woman. And then trying to get the alterations fixed after it shrunk, has been impossible. It still does not fit right, but I took it home because I was tired of dealing with it. I dropped off 5 shirts 3 weeks ago for alterations and dry cleaning. It was so expensive but I can't fault them for me not asking first or I would not have even got the alterations to being with. After over a week I never got a phone call that they were ready, I had to chase them to find out they were ready for pick up. Then, I drive home and 3 of the shirts are ridiculously tight in the chest. Ok, I'm sure it's hard to get every shirt right. It's been just shy of 2 weeks since I dropped them off, no phone call on if they're ready. I call the store and they said yes they're ready. I drive 20 minutes just to find out when I try them on, that in fact, they are not ready. They haven't been touched yet. It's been days since that and I still haven't gotten a phone call. I regularly come in with clothes to be altered because of my size- I was really happy for the last few months, but the last two times I came in and picked up my dress clothes from alterations they have looked...not so great. I asked about fixing a seam that was sloppy and was told it couldn't be fixed but they could just undo it. I wasn't offered a refund. I dropped off 3 pairs of pants and a skirt most recently and the seams don't match each other on the sides they were taken in at; the seams are also not flat- the bubble up and are ruffled on my butt.
